How come it's not solid enough for a tie ? I've applied several times for Visas (not necessarily a Student Visa) and I've included my Rental Agreements. That plus studies has only been my tie to any country that I've lived in. You just never know. In terms of Student Visa applications, it may not really hold ground as it's a long term visa. This is helpful only when you apply for a Visitor's visa. I wouldn't count a lot on it though but it's not harmful to throw it out there too. pampem: 1 Like |

Yes, that's not bad at all. Current applicants will be handled this month/April. After then, September in-takes. ExeatGhana: |

I don't know for sure. I've seen applicants who've used two sponsors and still added their statement of account. goalburner: |

You just clearly stated that was last year, right ? And I don't think you read my comment properly. We all know Embassies will not bounce your application no matter when you submit but will not process it at this moment because right now they are working on May in-takes. And you applied last year January, right? This isn't January, this is April. They had lots of time and less applications to handle when you applied. Most applications for May in-takes haven't even been submitted then - as people are still waiting for admission letters from their schools in Canada. Right now, VOs are busy working on Applications for students who start classes next month. I don't think they'll attend to those who are resuming January next year. And last but not the least, your case is different from the OP's. I still find it hard to believe that you got a TRV in January when you are supposed to start classes in September. If you had gotten your TRV in January then you must have filed for visa in December. How did the school give you an admission letter for a fall in-take when they haven't even finished evaluating for Winter I'm not saying this isn't possible - I'm just saying there is only a handful of applicants that would get their visa at such time frames. A rental agreement between you and your landlord that states the duration of time you'll be occupying the rented apartment. It's a tie too. If you don't own a house of your own. goalburner: 1 Like |

I do know biometrics is compulsory for the application but not sure if they have other VFS centers where they have the option to do so. goalburner: |

I don't think any of the two methods is faster than the other but I strongly recommend the paper route. The online can be a hassle for a less techy person. Online payments, having to merge files to submit because there is no additional field to upload your files to. But the paper route, you can add whatever you want to; pictures, extra certs etc - all you gotta do on the checklist is just check the additional documents box and you're good to go. goalburner: |

Nothing good comes easy. But, the PGWP is far most the easiest permit to get so far. You can even work legally while studying and once done, apply for a post graduate work permit which can be given for 8 months - 3 years. The PGWP depends on whatever course you studied tho. If it's a 2 year course, you can sit back and hang in there for a 3 year PGWP. Adazlolly: 1 Like 1 Share |

This your comment get as e be. Both Paper and Online applicants are treated the same. Some people who have applied via the paper route around the same timeframe as yours haven't heard back too. Be patient, my brother. It will turn out well. And going to Ghana with your lawyer, do you think that will help ? Why don't you submit a Case Specific Enquiry ? bigyemi2000: 2 Likes |

January 2017 ? I think it's a bit early. The officers are only evaluating May intakes now and not for fall. Either ways, you can submit but I believe the processing won't start until about months after. All the best. ExeatGhana: |

I'm not sure you read the OP's initial comment. They had a letter that was conditional. OP plans to still submit the conditional even after fulfilling the conditions but will submit it with their app ONLY if the unconditional doesn't arrive in time. My advice, again, would be to wait and submit with the unconditional letter. The VO officer would probably take them more serious when they find out the letter is unconditional rather than having to spend time verifying if the conditions are met which will end up wasting both the officer's time as well as the applicant. This causes delay. metrecube: |

You'll apply for a student visa without the correct letter? My advice is to please be patient. Don't take chances. Whatever is needed, please wait to receive it and apply. They might return your documents if they don't find the correct letter attached to it. All the best. ugosshhh: 2 Likes |

Yes, you can if you want to. It has got nothing to do with your current application. You have applied with a letter from a different school, right ? Many people apply to many schools, accept some but end up applying with one. Teehp: |

1. NO, Just show up at VFS and drop your application. 2. Yes, they collect your passport. You don't get it back. Except you plan to go via the online route. 3. I believe so. But you'll still have to fill him as a dependent on the family form and tick the box where it says accompanies you. I am not sure of your child's age but he may not need to appear for medicals. Please do try to call VFS and confirm no 3 with them. Hope this helps 3jayz: 4 Likes |

Have you seen those movies where the Actor travels a long way from home and is welcomed by a medium-sized good-looking young lady carrying a board with a name written on it ? That's an Airport greeter. Do not expect a very cute one though In your case, I don't think it's mandatory. You can decide not to enter your details on that link. AdexStudio: |

The Consular, Canadian High Commission. Nigeria. Address it to the High Commission Nigeria even though your visa will be processed in Accra. Reason is because they have an embassy in Nigeria tolumuntari: 1 Like |

An admission letter can be one of two types: a conditional and an unconditional letter. In both cases, the CIC will reach out to your school for verification. If it's conditional, they'll ask if the student has fulfilled the conditions. These things work internally. One of the reasons why there is an International Student Office. They call, the office keys in your details and checks for your eligibility criteria. If they are fulfilled and matches, then things are good. Otherwise, doubts arises. etc SegunWamiri: |

Ay50, I sincerely do not understand you at all. It's only been 12 hours or so you mentioned that you're fed up with Italy application and won't be applying and that you are taking up the Germany offer. What exactly do you want to do ? In 24 hours, you've said 2 different things. Studying abroad isn't like a walk in a park. All this translation stuff is on VFS website. Please take time and read the thread, you'll find answers to your questions. Ay50: |
