Properties › Is It Good To Use 0.30 Gauge Aluminuim Sheet To Roof A Small Bungalow? by danny34(op): 10:29am On Apr 14, 2017
Hello E-Family,

Is being a while. Hope you are good? Last December i asked about the recommended size for a septic tank/soak away for a 3bedroom, bungalow with a master. I did appreciate the responses i got. The soak is 80% completed.

However, am here because am about roofing the house and am considering my options. This is really low cost as my pocket aint heavy. My roofer advised i can use the minimum gauge in aluminium, that is better than use the short aluminuim called cameroon zinc.

I have made enquiries and found out that 0.30 is around 950 per sqm. PLEASE, IS THIS A GOOD OPTION? IS THERE ANY DISADVANTAGE IN USING IT TO ROOF?

The bungalow is quite high. the foundation is 5 course and the main building is the finishing block is 3 course after lintel. The location is Ibagwa Nike Enugu and is dry land.
PLEASE I NEED YOUR OPINION.

The cameroon zinc (short aluminum zinc that is 15 a bundle) and the long span 0.30 which is better?

THANKS. EXPECTING YOUR SUGGESTIONS. THANKS

Thats not LOYALTY. That's selling your self on the cheap. There is a difference.Thats because you see no worth in yourself. You think you can only be hired through connection like some others.

No Self-esteem
When you didn't value yourself
Too much Humility sometimes relegate you, cause some egocentric people wants you to continue rubbing their ego while they relegate you to the dogs.

I can never hire someone that doesn't value himself. Definitely he will sell my company on a cheap. I might just send him to secure a contract in another company, and the team from the other company will send him to buy snacks for them, while he runs around shamelessly, definely they wouldn't place him anywhere and negotiate with another person. They might even take him for a messenger. Knowing where you belong isn't pride.

Never sell yourself cheap all in the name of humility and loyalty.
I quite agree with you completely. The truth is, the young man thinks because he knows Mr. Earnest whether he is qualified or not he will be hired. No no. It's only in the public sector where unqualified people are hired at the expense of qualified ones.

The private sector is competitive, u earn your pay.

This is a good point. I'll think on it. But I'm sure a power hose with pressure should be able to remove dust. It depends on how the owner maintains it too.

I'll surely give it some thought.
Is OK sir. Left to me, I would suggest you do a paint that occasionally you can repaint and recoat. A power hose with pressure will sure remove dust but not dirt.

Whatever you decide on. We will be glad to work with you

Based on what they claimed the paint need very little maintainable. Dirt can be washed off with water.

I hope to use it for the exterior of the house of it's affordable me use different kind of paint for indoors.

If it's not too affordable i to hope to use it as an accent for the bottom half of the house
I disagree on the maintenance issue. Look at the gravitex surface and ask yourself how you wash such surface, it's like saying you will wash a textcoat?

Gravitex is a good sight to behold, but am sure maintenance will be an issue. If you screed tour house, do silk, it has weather protection, can be scrubbed as is a smooth surface.

In Nowas filling station Trans ekulu, Enugu, there is a Genesis Restaurant there, Gravitex was used on the outside, you need to see how it looks now.

However, if your house is n an area with no dust, like a well tarred estate, you can do gravitex, if is n an area where dust will easily do it, please refrain.

Do you recommend them?
Hello, why not? As long as you want Gravitex. However, if you can reach me let's talk about other paintings.... Am sure you are not doing gravitex all round. And how do you hope to maintain it when it becomes dirty or stays long?

[quote author=debbie post=53286014]What Is Wrong With Zenith Bank Nationwide

I will like to draw attention of the general public on the deliberate wickedness of the management of zenith bank to her customers.Since Friday the bank can not pay anyone and up till today the same excuses is being given.
Currently i have been to over 10 branches of zenith bank and the same reason is given.-NETWORK IS DOWN.

I wonder why a sane country like Nigeria can operate a bank like zenith and for 5 consecutive days customers can not access their accounts.

The hardship is much in the country and you guys have decided to add to it...
I was opportune to speak with some of their staff and i realised that this issue is a planned one. Many of them complained of the ill treatment and lack of motivation, many have been sack, others are under paid and many are not happy.
So it is obvious this is an internal issue.....so why on earth should the customers pay the dare price for your problems?

When can we get it right.....frustration is piping high and here we are with selfishness and poor management..
See the crowd of stranded customers, pregnant mothers and babies who have to bear the grunt of the foolishness of ZENITH BANK.,Daily they come to the bank and told the same stories.....how do you want them to feel?

ZENITH BANK IS A TOTAL FAILURE FOR ME,mSHAME TO THE MANAGEMENT. JIM OVIA you have lost it,when the head can not handle things well, this is what you get.

Seun come, the world need to hear this

Oga get a mobile app and transfer the money to another Acct and withdraw from there. That is what I did

Thanks Guys for taking out time to respond to this enquiry, am elated. I am weighing my options, three toilets for a 4bedroom bungalow.... Family size is 5, an addition coming in the new year as man is clocking 29 n gat to settle down.

Am already thinking of 6ft width by 10ft length, depth is 10ft steeped down while the other size is 8ft.

My question now is of this how much should be septic tank and how much should be soak away
Properties › Re: Please What Is The Recommended Soak Away Size For A Small Bungalow by danny34(op): 9:09pm On Dec 28, 2016
Yeah you are right... Is painting I know how to do best. Am a novice in construction.

The soak away will be in the same place with the septic tank, slightly divided by a block of wall.

Some one is recommending 6 ft width by 10 ft length. The depth will be 10ft by 8ft steeped.

The occupants are a small family of about 7.

ogologoamu:
I think what you meant is septic tank, that's where shits flows in.
Soak away is where waste water from kitchen or even septic tank flows in depending on how the plumber connects it.

How many people are you estimating to occupy the bungallow house?. This will determine the size of the septic tank. And don't make the mistake of channeling the wast water that surpose to go to soak away to septic tank, if you do, the septic tank go dey full on time.

otunbaa:
In June 2014, I moved into this house in ikeja while working with an oil and gas firm and my fiancé was living and working in the states and was planning to relocate back to Nigeria so we can get married and start our own family. In December 2014, same year I moved into the house, I got sacked by the company for no reason and this is a job I have been doing for almost 3 years and since then I have not gotten another job till this moment because I feel that someone with my experience shouldn't be finding it difficult to get another job because I have worked with 3 major oil and gas firms with close to 8 years experience. In 2015, my fiancé got back from the states hoping to start a business and before we know it we started spending the money on nothing tangible till it finished and ever since she tried going back but no luck due to no money to finance it and nobody is willing to assist us with money, it's like helpers are running away to assist. We struggled to pay this year's rent ( 300k ) which will expire by June next year. Just recently someone told us to move out of the house that the owner might have done something to hinder our progress while he progresses and also I was told by someone in the neighborhood that a labourer died in the building while building the house and we are the first occupant of this house. I and my fiancé have concluded to move out of the house.
So fellas what do you think?
Talking from experience.... Don't just move out, run away from there........

You are very funny.... You borrowed him money he has not been able to pay back, that is the subject of discussion... And he said he is fed up... Instead of asking how to get your money back, you are asking how to get him back...

I don't see him paying that money.... He said you can be together till he pays you.... Is that a compensation? Don't t think that dude wanna pay u...

Separate your money from relationship.... Get your money.... I'd he is fed up.. Move on

@Op, I can relate with what you are going through. Things are hard n not easy to come by. If only you have learnt a hand work, u won't have to work for anyone but your self.

To the Nairaland family, it only takes one who have been there to know what the young man is going through. If you have the means to help, pls do. If you don't have, at least be kind with your words. It takes much to come out n beg n put private family information on a public forum like this.

Life has never been fair.... If only we can add value to someone, if only we all can lend a helping hand to one person, then we would have given a generation hope.

I have seen your account number, by tomorrow morning u will see my widows might.... Just be resilient, things will not always b like this... You will look back someday n just laugh...
