When I see news about lawyers being unalived, I don't jump onto sympathy mode because of my bad experience with my former lawyer. I was dubbed of 9m naira and the thief was caught and charged to Court. I engaged my lawyer to conduct alternative dispute resolution instead of going to court and the thief agreed to pay instalmentally. He paid 4m naira through my lawyer and my lawyer diverted 1m naira claiming that's his money for helping me recover 3m naira. This is after I have paid him 300k for his service.
