A CRUSADER’S DAY OUT So on the 18th of August I stepped out as patriotic citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to exercise my civic duty by taking advantage of the benevolent extension of the registration period for the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to enable more people to participate and register in order to be eligible to vote in the forthcoming General Election in the country. Due to the tedious and vast population of people involved and participating in the registration process, I went to the venue as early as 5am which funny enough is said not to be early enough as few people tended to sleep over at the venue till the next day in order to write down their names. And it was done in batches, particularly from batch 1 to 9 and on few occasions to batch 11 and each batch consisted of 20 people each on the list. It was an interesting experience for me as a person and as citizen of this great nation. And as a Crusader I have decided to give a report of my experience and observations during that day. Remember I went as early as 5am and was able to finish the process by 3:30pm. And below are my observations and opinions: 1. NIGERIANS ARE VERY DIFFICULT TO CONTROL This is a very known fact that Nigerians can be the most patient and at the same time the most impatient of people, some Nigerians tend to disobey or flunk instructions and directives given to them, Nigerians are also tend to be over smart in order to cut corners and finish what they want even before those were there before them. The above was part of my observations there, I saw Nigerians who because are too impatient to wait for their turn resorted to using funny means to cut corners in order to register. Some girls would just bring a child claiming to be theirs even when in some cases it isn’t theirs. I saw ladies claiming to be pregnant in order to do theirs. And on the other hand, I saw Nigerians who despite the odds still persisted until they got to their turn, despite the hot scorching sun, the heavy rain and the waste of time and all the inconveniences they still held on against all the challenges. For me these are the real Superstars and I commend and celebrate them for being the real heroes of this country. 2. THE FANGS OF CORRUPTION IS STILL ENDEMIC; MONETARIZATION OF THE PROCESS Despite the fact that the registration is termed to be free and not to involve any form of money payment, but the impact and power of money cannot be undone. The impatient Nigerians I spoke of earlier tend to give money to these officials and instructors in a bid to get favors by been listed to do the registration before those that came earlier. It wasn’t a rumor but something I got to witness that day and something that speaks volume about the forthcoming elections. If someone can pay just to register for PVC, what then is the tendency of such a person not to collect money from the highest bidder on the election-day in order to vote. The quagmire of buying and selling of vote is far from being solved as a lot of Nigerians are ready to sell their votes, I asked a lot of people and that was the resolution and intention a lot of them have, basically because they believe that the current trend of social, political and economic hardship in the country has gone beyond the point of repair and would be open to bids from potential party agents. This scares me in the sense that the forthcoming election might be survival of the richest and not the survival of the best. The monetization of the process to those who are open to paying according to an insider is because of the funding problem which they are experiencing, and this takes us to my next observation. 3. THE REGISTRATION CENTRES ARE STILL UNDERFUNDED Another important observation is that these INEC registration centers seem to be underfunded, in the sense that the Head of Department at this centers use their own personal money to run some of the expenses incurred which has the tendency in turn to monetarize the registration process. This is a special plea to the Government and other related agencies who are in position of authority to please ensure that these process and centers are efficiently funded so as to enable them effectively and actively carry out their duties with fairness, equity and transparency. 4. THERE ARE STILL PATRIOTIC AND DETERMINED CITIZENS IN NIGERIA WHO DESPITE THE CHALLENGES STILL HOLD ON I already talked about this set of people, who are patriotic citizens with integrity. I came across a few of them who not because they didn’t have the money to pay and get it done, but rather chose to withstand the challenges of the scorching sun, cold rain and weather in order to get their PVCs. These are the ones that I am sure you cannot buy their vote because no one will be able to pay them for the sacrifices they made in order their PVCs, to theses caliber of people out there, I say thank you, and you folks are the real heroes. 5. A MORE EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT MEDIUM AND STRATEGY HAS TO BE ADOPTED TO ENABLE MORE PEOPLE TO REGISTER AND PARTICIPATE This was my final observation, that a more effective and efficient strategy be adopted in a bid to enable more people register and participate in the electoral process. In a country of about 180 million people and yet the number of people deciding the future of the whole country is not up to 50 million people. That certainly calls for a rethink into the political orientation, participation, in the political arena and sphere. In my own opinion, I think it is high time we start diving and driving towards electronic voting, which will go a long way in curbing the pandemonium-causing menace called vote trading. The vote buyers cannot be going house to house to buy vote like they do on during elections. Electronic voting will also curb the problem of insecurity, electoral violence and ballot snatching which is ravaging our democracy in recent times particularly the Rivers state election that was canceled. It will also reduce the amount of money and funds been injected into the election budget for the police, civil defense, immigration and other security operatives during election and rather such billions be channeled towards other ventures that will bring about sustainable development to the people of Nigeria. The above are the opinions and observations of The Crusader’s Watch and we are looking forward to making sure that the good people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria get the very best and enjoy the full tenets of democracy. God bless our efforts, God bless the good people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By Alves for The Crusaders FROM OUR SITE : https:///view/crusadersiii. |

NEO COLONIALISM AND THE DEPENDENCE OF AFRICA First and foremost we will be talking on the issue “MULTI NATIONALS AS ENGINES OF GROWTH”. Multi nationals appeared on the scene after the advent of the 2nd World War. The colonial powers that be knew that the systematic control of the colonies through colonialism was no longer going to be realistic and achievable, so as such they devised a means to enable them to continue wielding control over these colonies and this strategy was developed which probably even worked more than effectively in their quest to retain control of these colonies. So as such, in Africa we saw corporations like Unilever, Royal Dutch Shell, Philips, and Peugeot Automobile taking over the manufacturing, petroleum, electronics and automobile business interests on the continent (Oatley, 2000) As was done in the case of colonialism, the regime of Multi-national Corporations (MNCs) was promoted to be “the engines of growth.” And it was based on the notion that operations generated what economists call “positive externalities” in the host country: which promotes foreign investments, transfer of technology, management expertise and efficient allocation of resources. Precedence from encounters on the African continent has shown us that these MNCs, instead of promoting growth, it has been an instrument of domination by the capitalists. Oatley lamented; “it seems incongruous to achieve political freedom and liberty from these colonial powers and yet still continue to struggle from these colonial powers and yet still continue to struggle or strive under the economic dominance of the colonial powers through multi-national firms.” As can be seen from the foregoing list of MNCs mentioned, it is obvious that they engage in critical areas of national economy, in which the government has more interest in and where the conflict and crisis of interest often stem up. These conflicting interests atimes causes this MNCs to dabble in the domestic politics, or attempt to undermine the security of the host country: the extreme is their strategy of beating around the codes and regulations established to checkmate their operations and activities. The MNCs are bent on maximizing profits and the well-being of its shareholders from global operations. As in most cases than not, they succeed in the contest of power through devices such as “inter-locking directorship and cross-shareholders” (Nkrumah, 1974: 259). In conclusion, we could see the bold step taken by the Nigerian Government in 1971 to nationalize the assets of the British petroleum. The official reason for this was to prevent oil from getting to the enemies of Africans in apartheid South Africa. But the unstated and perhaps the most convincing motive was to force and coerce the hands of Margaret Thatcher (the Iron lady) of Britain in the protracted negotiations for Rhodesian (which is current day Zimbabwe) independence. Episode 14 : Fierce I was literally carried away from Mr. Williams' body where I hung up to dish him the slaps. The Headmistress immediately told the timekeeper to ring the bell for assembly, the bell was rang and I and favour were brought in front of the assembly, Shade stood at one side, she was quiet and didn't utter a single word thoughout everything, it seemed like she was getting to terms with what her actions was causing. Mr Williams came to the front of the queue holding a long cane hoping to use to flog I and Favour, the silence everywhere became deafening when the Headmistress climbed the podium. She started by apologizing for bringing everyone out from their classes and said something had happened in the school which was not going to be tolerated , and that was for a student to attack a staff and as a result of that I and Favour would be beaten to serve as a deterrance to everyone not to even think of it in the future . After she said that she motioned for Mr Williams to flog I and Favour 20 strokes of cane, the mention of that turned the whole place upside down, Favour's classmates said their mate would not be beaten like a thief for defending her brother and why did Mr Williams attack her. The stupid man still went ahead to lash me one when I wasn't even concentrating, before we knew it we saw stones and objects been stoned at Mr Williams and The Headmistress. In just matter of few minutes, the whole school was in total pandemonium, students even from the secondary arm joined and started destroying things, it was total chaos everywhere , my sister just pulled me and we ran towards the road,( I must confess I was tempted to join and destroy things too as a way of showing my displeasure and anger). I heard my name and I turned to see Victoria with our school bags, she had gone to my class and Favour'd class to carry our bags, so when she caught up with us we boarded the same vehicle and went home. On getting home , we met my mum at home (seemed like she came back home to do something) when she saw us ,she asked what had happened. So Favour and Victoria narrated everything to my mum while me the food monger ran to the kitchen to scavenge for what to eat. I saw bread on the dinning table so I cut from it and started munching before I heard my name ; my mum rushed towards me and looked at my palm which was bandaged, and as if possessed my our family spirit of rage, she ran inside and took my dad's car keys. She told us to get into the car and drove to my dad's office. I must confess my mum drove more fiercely than my dad, she was the real deal. So when we got to my dad's office, he was overjoyed to see us, he just rushed I and Favour and gave us a very warm hug he kissed us on the forehead and I could tell that he almost cried, so despite all the commando way my dad always acted he was so emotional too , mhen see excess love. After he released Us from the hug he asked who the other girl was, I was mute because I didn't know where to place her but Favour rescued me and said Victoria was her friend and took care of me in the school dispensary after I was injured. That seemed to pick my dad's ears because he asked desperately who injured me, that was when the event and cause of the pandemonium in our school was all about. He too was shocked because Shade's dad was a close friend to my dad and he too didn't believe that Shade could do that to me. He said he just got news that there was a serious rioting in my school and was really bothered and since his car was was with my mum he couldn't drive over immediately. My dad's friend Mr Jackson walked in but I do call him uncle Rikishi because he had big belle and he looked like Rikishi( fans of wwe that will understand). He came and hugged me and asked after my wellbeing but he was told that I was just injured in school and was part of the cause of the rioting in my school. We were there in my dad's office, I had already rushed to his fridge and taken coke and some biscuit to munch but this time I shared with Victoria and Favour (she deserved it after saving twice in one day, I needed to shower her with excess love) I went to the restroom when I heard a noise coming from the office , I went back to see what was the cause of the noise when I saw Favour and Victoria standing up to someone, I couldn't see who it was but when I passed Favour and Victoria, there they were standing close to Mr Jackson. You will be wondering who was it that stood right? It was Ruth and Shade. To be continued.... |
Premier League referee, Bobby Madley, has left his position, the officials’ organisation confirmed on Thursday. “Bobby Madley is no longer employed by PGMOL. “We understand that he has decided to relocate due to a change in his personal circumstances,” the Professional Game Match Officials Limited said in a statement. Madley who is only 32, has overseen 91 games in the Premier League since 2013, as well as the Community Shield last summer. He was one of PGMOL’s 18 full-time referees. Madley did not take charge of any games last weekend as the Premier League restarted. SOURCE: https://crusadersiii./2018/08/17/premier-league-ref-quits/ |

This update is dedicated to nastynic EPISODE THIRTEEN: WAR I started with the Lord’s prayer after which I became bold enough and I gave a good prayer, yes, a good prayer (the one you give knowing it has been answered already) and in this case Foiling Mr. William’s planned disgrace for me was the perfect answers. I finished praying and I just walked majestically to my line, I didn’t need to look back to know that he was definitely boiling inside, I mean like I could vehemently feel his burning gaze on my back. I went back to my line amidst whispers from other students calling me “pastor or pastor pikin” , I just smiled and looked towards Victoria to meet her smiling back with a stylish thumbs up to me, I turned towards the girls queue and met Shade’s face seriously frowning at the smile exchange between I and Victoria. I was like; wetin dey worry this one sef? Shey I can’t smile with another person because of you neh? Assembly was over and we all marched to our classes. When we got to class, Shade didn’t waste time before she came at me; What is wrong with you? She barked at me to the amazement of our classmates, What exactly are you talking about I replied her calmly (I switched to English too since that was the level we were rocking this morning), I was trying to be a gentle man like Victoria had said earlier. She then continued to rant at me, what do you even think you bare? You this small boy, you act like an idiot and you are still too stupid. She went on and on blasting me amidst questions from few of our mates what was wrong, with each insult majority of the other students would laugh and mock us as couples just fighting. They wanted me to talk back or beat her up to show I was the man. I must confess, that I was barely holding myself back from dishing her a resounding slap, but am still surprised till date that I was able to compose myself despite the pressure. When she saw that I didn’t respond to any the insults, she pushed me and jacked up my shirt. The class was becoming rowdy as many people came to see the fight, funny enough I didn’t say any word or fight back? ( which is totally unlike me, typical me would have super punched her like Roman Reigns if she was a boy, well I guess I was becoming a gentleman then) We were separated, but she took my school bag and flanged it out of the window, that increased the noise as everyone the noise as everyone thought I would react but I just calmly walked towards the door, it seemed like the more I didn’t respond to her the more it angered her. She took it a step further when she took a pencil and attacked me with it, I was injured on my palm, that was when the Head mistress entered the class and pulled her away from me, the pain was too much that I looked at Shade and didn’t know when tears escaped from my eyes. I was taken to the school dispensary while Shade was taken to the Headmistress’s office. After my hand was bandaged in the clinic, Victoria rushed in hurriedly with a worrying look on her face and asked after my well-being, some minutes later my sister rushed in as well to see me and she saw Victoria, she calmed down and asked what happened, which I told her that I didn’t know what I did but made Shade to start throwing insults at me after which she proceeded to stab me with a pencil after she had thrown my school bag out of the window. My sister still didn’t believe what I said because she could never think that as close as I was to Shade, we could fight talk more of her injuring me with a pencil. A student brought my bag for me and I was summoned to the Headmistress’s office. The Headmistress asked my well-being. After which she asked what transpired between I and Shade, and since it’s the norm in this women’s world it was believed that I must have been the one to have started the fight. And if there was anything I hated was to explain after a fight, so I just kept quiet and didn’t utter a single word. Mr. Williams just started attacking me that I was a trouble monger and must have been the one to provoke the calm girl to make her react and attack me, I was just dumbfounded at the man’s show of stupidity to comment on what he didn’t even know about, I felt like strangling him there and then but I just kept my calm. He continued to bash me with words until the intervention of our form mistress who suggested we go to the class to ask those present since she knew I and Shade to be very close. So with that we all set out for the classroom. The moment we entered the class, everyone greeted the Headmistress and other teachers present and then the moment the Headmistress asked what had happened in class to cause the fight, immediately the whole class became noisy as everyone was talking, I was just standing there looking and not able to hear anything because as there say ‘if everyone is talking, no one is talking’. Everyone wanted to say something and explain their own version of what happened. The noise was quelled and Ruth who is Shade’s seatmate was picked by Mr. Williams to explain what happened, she started stuttering and stammering as she narrated , she was actually twisting the story, na that day I fear girls, some dey like like say them dey breathe air (so easily and effortlessly). This girl lied that I was the one who started by provoking her but Ruth’s story was cut short by the ire and shutting down she got from the other students who accused her of supporting evil and lying to cover for her friend, Mr. Williams tried to shut them up but it just seemed to open their mouth even the more to say Ruth was lying. When I opened my mouth to say Ruth was lying, as if he was waiting for me to accuse Ruth of lying too, the man just gave me a dirty slap to shut up, that provoked Favor(my sister) who was sitting somewhere quietly watching what was happening, she attacked Mr. Williams with her own slap to the bewilderment of everyone present (I was always at loggerhead with my sister but never knew she loved me so much to stand for me like that, even when it was against a teacher, I honestly felt the love from her), I just smiled and Mr. Williams attempted the unforgivable sin, which is for anyone aside me to fight my sister, it was my birthright and na only me go use am. So the Mr. Williams moved to attack Favor but I rushed him even with the injury on my palm I climbed on top of a desk and by the moment he slapped Favor( at least make she feel the kind slap were I collect top so she won’t yab me with it the next time we beef) . So as he landed the slap on her face I jumped on him and gave him a quick double slap on the face with so much in rage and anger. To be continued…. TO BE CONTINUED...... Haba guys na only 3 people dey read this story? almost 1000 views yet ena no fit drop comment e no fair.. lol.. oya make ena show love. |
update will be dropped later.. thank u nastynic. next update will b dedicated to u |
EPISODE TWELVE : NEW TURN OF EVENTS I asked her what she meant and she said what I was discussing with Victoria that was making us laugh to disturb everyone in the bus and I replied that we were just getting to know each other and she said; Didn’t you see the fish pie and note I dropped in your bag during the break? And I answered her that that I didn’t know it was from her, I then told her thank you and that I thought it was an offering from an angel from heaven. I then adjusted my sitting position and faced the window, after a few minutes I heard a little scoff and I turned to see Shade crying and I asked what was wrong? She said I was the cause and I asked her how I was the cause. She said I wanted to kill myself and leave her behind (this one just weak me), she said what was I thinking when I went to climb our TV stand. I understood her and made her realize that it was the stool I climbed and not the TV stand as rumor had it in school. She then asked how I was able to dust Mr William’s flogging. Well, to make her happy, and feel better I told her it was because I was staring at her and the tears in her eyes made it possible for me to dust the cane, but as usual she denied that she didn’t cry that it was something that entered into her eyes then, in my mind I was like see this girl ooo, I just dey talk make she feel herself na him she want use am claim iron lady. Me I knew better than to argue with her already. Her estate was the next, so when we got to her junction she alighted. The next estate was mine, so I alighted and rushed home when I discovered that there was light. You know that kind of joy you will just feel when you are coming back from school then and see light from afar, you will just develop one extra strength even if you are feeling weak from school. The next day was Tuesday, my mum dressed me up and my dad was to drop I and Favor in school (Favour had not been able to go to school for more than a week because of my accident, and she was in Primary 6). My dad gave Favour ⋕100 for our break, but Favour wanted to give me up on ⋕30 so she could keep ⋕70, I saw it as cheating, na who no wise, me were sabi money pass anything, I wasn’t going to be cheated by her. So Dad dropped us off and we entered the school by 7:15 am we could be seen arguing as usual like cat and rat. We continued with the argument until I heard my name and I turned back to see Victoria walking towards me from the assembly area, my sister saw that as a window and escaped, I was turn in between pursuing her and waiting for the pretty Victoria. Favour’s case could wait but this pretty lady won’t. So she caught up with me. Hello handsome, she greeted, I was beginning to feel butterflies in my stomach, but I composed myself and wanted to joke up my mood, Sorry my name is Victor, I replied with a faked serious face She laughed and said I was very funny, I succeeded in putting a smile on face and lighting up my mood as well, so I continued; Hey Aphrodite, how you doing this morning, (na for inside film I hear the word so I just decided to use it and thank God it made her laugh more). She smiled back and replied that she was doing great. I was just praying in my mind that she didn’t see my drama and hear my argument with Favour over money, but it seems that was an impossible prayer because she busted my prayer bag when she continued ; hmm! Is that why you were arguing with a lady? Or don’t you know how to be a gentleman? She said, In my mind I was like, me a gentleman? And i countered; That is no lady, she is my sister and the argument was necessary, i replied and ended with a smile to cover the shame I was feeling. And she was oh! Sorry I didn’t know senior Favour was your sister, no wonder now I know where you got your good looks from. Actually, I never knew she was your sister, I thought she was probably my competitor, she added. It rang a bell in my head and I replied her if she was in competition with anybody? And she just smiled and told me that wasn’t it too obvious? We were still gisting and walking slowly when we heard the bell for assembly and the memories of the previous day just flashed through my mind, instead of risking my luck today I just pulled Victoria towards the assembly ground to avoid another story that will touch the heart. And thinking of the devil, I looked towards the assembly ground and saw Mr. Williams staring blank at me, and I was like, what have I done to this man again. Victoria then told me I was the only person that the man didn’t get his way with and as such feeling embarrassed by the way and manner the Headmistress stopped him the previous day from flogging me. When she finished, I just smiled at him widely, I soon discovered I wasn’t with Victoria again so I turned and saw her on the queue meant for Primary 5, it was then it dawned on me that I didn’t even know her class before now. Chai! I was losing my sense of coordination ooo. I was still basking in the euphoria of having a senior crush on me when Mr. Williams called out; Mr. Victor, come and pray for us, I honestly wasn’t expecting that and I was a very shy person, how would I face this vast crowd to pray for them? Am not Moses.Mr. Williams thought he was falling my hands because he was vividly smiling at me, I knew at once that this man must not succeed in disgracing me in front of the whole school. So a thought crossed my mind and I started the prayer like this. to be continued...... |
The Nigerian society will make a blockbuster horror movie that will definitely make a 5 star rating in the movie world!! The name of the movie as given above will star all major politicians as vampires who only survive on sucking and milking the others (proletarians) of their blood!! there are major vampires who are ORDER OF VAMPIRE KINGS where you find Buhari, Oshiomole Abba Kyari, Ibrahim kpotun, Lawal Daura, Elrufai, Yahaya Bello etc. at the top of the hierarchy where they order hits on the proletarians and how to strategize on sucking the proletarians in their territory and clan. Thi set are the most heartless and unforgiving if all the vampires and. they feed on all kind of proletarians!! The second hierarchy are the GENERALS who are those who recieve orders to execute. Some are still part of the ORDER while some are not!! The likes of Amaechi, Fashola, Malami, Femi Adesina, Fayemi etc. these category are more or less loyalist who just follow orders from the top and are also very deadly. The next category is THE REVOLUTIONARY ORDER OF REBELS here you meet vampires who are not in support of sucking blood of proletarians except when absolutely necessary or where they feel it has to be for the general good!! here you meet people like Saraki, Fayose, Dino melaye, Kwankwaso, Wike, Ambode, Ortom etc This part used to be part of the GENERALS and THE SACRED ORDER but because of the ruthless activities of the SACRED ORDER they became rebellious and are now the major issue of the SACRED ORDER. All attempts to infiltrate the REVOLUTIONARY ORDER has proved abortive even and has cost the SACRED ORDER one of its generals!! This group are not necessarily good but they are not in anyway as bad as the SACRED ORDER and have a little human feelings!!! The rest of the Vampires are neither here nor there and are just hanging on the fence the are good and bad at the same time and you find Dogara, Yusuf Lasun, Solomon Dalung an others here. They have no definite bearing in the Vampire world and can be tools to any of the Order!! Lastly we have the ORDER OF THE TAMED VAMPIRES here the vampires resort to other means of feeding than the proletarians and most often try to help the proletarians in their clan or territory here you find Ben Bruce, Bom good head, Jang, Timothy Golu, Beni lar, Atiku etc. However most of the members of the TAMED VAMPIRES have little influence and therefore are more or less people who salvage those caught on the fence as much as they can!!!!! This should have been the end of the story but it wouldn't be complete without talking of the main character of the movie THE PROLETARIANS . This set of people are the normal everyday people who are not in any Order but have most often been affected by the Orders clashes and plans!! But the twist of the Whole story is the sacred key to the Pandora's box of the ORDERS lies with the PROLETARIANS because in their blood there is a DNA called SENSE AND OBJECTIVITY which they failed to activate and for that they have to pay with the blood they fight so hard to safe!! The Key is Voting out the SACRED ORDER and pick from The REVOLUTIONARY ORDER or TAMED VAMPIRES, but the DNA has not been activated by most, and that still keeps them in Bondage until they can Unlock that DNA they will remain in Bondage!!!!!! WATCH OUT FOR EPISODE TWO TO SEE WHO THE HERO THAT ACTIVATED THE DNA IS!!!! Source:https://crusadersii..com/2018/08/the-nigerian-horror-movie-vampire.html |
EPISODE ELEVEN: SILVER LINING AT THE END OF THE STORM I was surprised seeing the letter and since I wasn’t too fluent in my reading I just folded it and kept in my bag, I looked round but no one was looking at me, so I just joyfully ate it, if na winch wan initiate me na their business, I was more concerned with the hunger that was ravaging my stomach. The bell for break over was rang and the others came into the class. Nothing really special happened throughout until school closed, after all my belle don full I no send anybody again. I normally told my dad that I would stay for extra lessons after school, so I would collect money for the second break but Favour didn’t know about this sha if not she would blown the whistle on me since if I messed up or disobeyed her. But I hardly stayed for lesson except for days I wanted to purposely dodge work at home. So I just calmly walked towards the school bus that usually took us home when I saw Shade, I called out to her but she ignored me and went into the bus. I thought I wouldn’t get space to sit down again as it was filled up even Shade that entered before me had to squat with one of her friends, I already made up my mind to stand throughout the drive home. When I heard a sweet voice call my name, I didn’t turn at first but when I heard it again I turned to see a very beautiful and charming girl, let me digress a little there, you guys know the Indian girl that acted Don part 1 and 2, what is that her name again? Priyanka Choprah , this girl is just like the junior version abi model of her. I didn’t believe that such kind of girl was in this school and I didn’t know. What have I been doing in this school sef, its not like the book I am coming to school for sef am knowing it. ![]() So back to the story, I came back from my dream land when I heard her telling me to come and sit down on a space beside her, it was as if she had reserved that seat for me, I thanked her and sat down feeling like a celebrity to be able to sit close to a fine girl like this, so people now keep seat for me. I turned back and my eyes met Shade’s eyes ogling over us and I decided to teach her a lesson. So I struck up a conversation with the beautiful girl, she later told me her name was Victoria and I told her she was lying, I refused to believe that Victoria was her name, I didn’t believe until she called another girl who attested to the fact, and I was like, “waoh! so Victor meets Victoria” and she smiled, oh my God! See fine, white dentition, that kind of smile that can turn your night into day, turn your head upside down, this girl was way over the rest girls I have seen in school and even in church . I continued bringing up interesting topics during the drive home and I used style to look towards Shade who was vehemently burning with rage, like I cared. So we got to a junction and the driver stopped so that children from that estate can alight, and that was Victoria’s junction and she told me she stayed at Livingstone estate, which had one other estate between hers and mine, we said our goodbyes and she went off. I relaxed well and smiled but I was shoved sideways on my seat and I turned to see Shade beside me and she looked at me and asked what I thought I was doing? To Be Continued...... EPISODE TEN : MORE TROUBLES The teacher had a shock look on his face likewise the same look was on the faces of the other pupils on the Assembly ground, I didn’t know when I busted into laughter and the rage and shock on the teachers face was priceless in no time the other pupils started laughing and hailing me. The teacher told them to shut up and told me to lay down again. As i laid down to receive the remaining strokes, that was when the Headmistress came out of her office to find out the cause of the noise only to see the teacher about to flog me. Hey! Mr. Williams, I heard her call out. So that was even the teacher’s name, she told him to stop that no matter what I did he should let me go that I have not been well for about a week. That was what saved me, and as I was going back to my line I was hearing little whispers of hailing and even shook hand with a few students that I didn’t even know before, my walking step was changed and I was forming one boss like that with my walking step. The Headmistress gave the necessary announcements, which I was not even interested to hear again. The Assembly was dismissed and we were supposed to march to our various classes. As I was marching to my class, I saw Mr. Williams frowning at me and pointing. I didn’t even care, as far as I was concerned I had already won and nothing he did was of interest to me. I got to my class and was greeted and welcomed warmly by my classmates and even students from other classes like Primary 3B. Despite all this greetings I didn’t see Shade, I was busy looking out for her but didn’t see her. The form mistress came into the class and we had to settle down, that was when i saw Shade walk into the class without looking towards my direction . I was confused, was this not the same girl that was crying when i was been flogged . Chai ! but girls can be complicated sha. I made up my mind to see her during break time. Throughout the first period three periods before break time i was just staring at her and didnt know when my seatmate Thomas touched me and i found my self shouting death and the teacher asked the class to clap for me , i was very surprised because i was mad at at Thomas for jerking me out of my reverie when i was staring at Shade and out of frustration and anger tried to threaten him with, shey death dey worry you bah? and that "death"was the loudest , unknown to me that that was the last answer to the question the teacher had asked in the class. She asked about the characteristics of living things (MR NIGER D). When i realised what had just happened i smiled, and the teacher said 'Victor, why does it seem like you have become brighter after the accident' and the whole class busted out into laughter, i just smiled and looked towards Shade but she didnt even turn talk more of laughing to the joke everyone was laughing to. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BREAK TIME It was break time and I was fast enough to rush to Shade's seat, I was able to cajole Ruth who was Shade's friend and seatmate to allow me sit down and I looked at Shade; she still had this moody face on and I asked what was wrong, she hesitated to say anything but I no free oooo... I persisted till she stood up and went out of the class, I was feeling jilted and frustrated but Thomas came to me and told me that she might be probably mad at me because of the accuse and I was perplexed if that was the case for her behavior, how can that make her angry, abi no be my body wound? I just went out with Thomas and my friends to buy snacks but by the time we gig there the fish pie had been sold and I didn't like the buns because it was too oily. My mood became fouled and just walked back to the class without goind to play with the others as u usually did. When we got to the class I just saw a leather in my desk and when I brought it out, it was fish pie and a note attached to it. Who could it be that dropped this for me ? To be continued...... |
