Politics / Re: Strange As Gumi Locates Bandits, Herdsmen Hideouts But Army, Police Can't – Reno by Danwakae(m): 9:23pm On Feb 21, 2021

There is no truth in what he said.

Government know their hidouts, many bandits have been killed by government troops for your information.

To foster peace, Government strategy is also about using influential religious and traditional leaders to mediate and promote peace.

During the Niger delta crisis, Government used traditional leaders to speak to the militants, that is how the crisis subsided.

Government can not use force all the time
thesame thing u pple said for boko haram, we shld't use force... How i wish u knw how these brutal nd wicked mostly foreigners r killing nd treating my ppl , u would retrieve this ur wicked coment...some of dem ve collectd amnesty frm govt more than twice... Bt because u r eatin nd sleepin wel , u kept ur conscience blind. May Allah(SAW) 4give u.

Christians, YES!
before you counter my claim, know that I'm a christian and I'm speaking from personal experience.

Big Lie ....fat one !!!...

Gov. Zulum just shot himself ...it shows all he has been doing its politics... Nothing like Christian in Boko haram.

I am a good Muslim from Taraba state , if we want the south to join the fight against Boko haram , we must come out openly and with truth not with lies ....the previous year chrismas and this last , mostly the previous one , Boko haram killed enough Christians and attacked many Christian communities in borno and Adamawa mainly ... Bringing Christian to Boko haram shows the politics Gov Zulum is trying to play here , .

We saw the actions of the Southwest governors when they formed amotekun against bandits in their region ... But can that be said for the Northeast or Northwest governors??... How many times have they met to discuss how to put an end to Boko haram ? , At the onset did they agree that Boko haram are our people ?, Are the sponsors of Boko haram Christians ?, Christians mainly aid workers and some Borno indigenes from southern borno who were captured by Boko haram and force to converts and fight their course , are they the ones Gov Zulum is talking about ?, ...what about Leah Sharibu ?,... Gov Zulum disappointed me with that statement ...Boko haram will never get to the south , if they tries to , most northerners will be chase out becuase they would be the ones covering and bringing them in the way they are covering them here ...the day our people in the north and mostly our leaders in the north to stand against Boko haram , that would mark the end to Boko haram in Nigeria ...it will not take the Nigeria Army more than 3 weeks to flush out Boko haram from Africa , not just Nigeria ...but for the politics in it by our leaders , it has becomes a serious biz , and Gov Zulum just exposed himself ...it's a shame ...we all know how Boko haram started , and leaders who were calling the police to release Boko haram members at the onsets when they were still unarmed with riffles...Shame to All the north east gov, mostly to Gov Zulum who just spoke nonsense.

Rare and commendable concession. More so coming from a PDP governor/stalwart. Unlike the usual 'democracy is in danger' rants that were are used to being served after an election loss. I guess its fair to say our democracy is making baby-step progress. Na pesin be Trump wey still refuse to concede.

You are politically short sighted... Gov. Bala Muhammed is set for GEJ 2023... Baba Buhari's choice ... GEJ our next president ... May Allah forgive the short comings of our leaders... Nigeria is in mess.

cool of course bro!!!

don't know what's so special about kneeling down

That's poor reporting from the OP, at a time during the protest in Abuja , it became rough and the police were shooting and many ran away, but Davido, Adeyanju and many others stood and while the pandemonium was ongoing , Davido knelt down and rose up his hand while the armed security operatives approaches him , as a sign of no violent... It was tough, Davido tried , during such protest anything can happen in the name of incidental discharge mostly when they have grudges against u. It after everything that Davido admonished the crowd to remain peaceful to achieving the goal, and thanks be to Allah, the security operatives were understandable , they didn't arm Davido nor Adeyanju and those with them at that particular time...

The main point here is not just about ENDSARS, but has shown the youths how powerful they are if they united for a course

dem wan legalize Yahoo yahoo.na the thing be that!

Not that... How many yahoo yahoo boys have SARS arrested and prosecuted ?, they only go after yahoo boys for bribe money and in most cases innocent youths suffers in their hand... The EFCC has been the ones arresting and parading internet fraudstars and Nigerians are not against it , not the SARS that are meant to combat Kidnapping and anti-robbery , they are enow the ones robbing people... It was I got to Edo State that I understood what the people are saying , back then in north , dem no born SARS to arrest innocent citizen , they know that the southerners are rich , as such they want to buy Benz and build house... The entire NigPolice needs serious restructuring...else all these baning and reforming is a child play, same police personnel will always make what ever tactical unit is created to tackle kidnaping and armed robberies.

Was the protest about George Floyd more than #BlackLivesMatter?? Nope. What you're seeing is the power of social media and togetherness. Nigerians have been pushed to the wall and to crown it all, the president is still silent, and that surprises me because if he doesn't address this issue, we could be looking at a revolution. The Masses are hungry, angry and bleeding.

Yea , not just SARS, the masses are hungry and suffering

Yea to an extent. I was surprised some of them opposed Nnamdi Kanu proposed Biafra demonstrations in Benue. Politicians of Benue origin deceived them. The earlier they aligned with the south, the better for them.

This water Bill will not only affect the SOUTH, both also the NORTHEAST, mostly my state Taraba state and Adamawa, there have been serious battle btw my people and the Fulani on the ownership of many revers within the state, allowing the federal govt to take over waters, is like handing over the waters to the fulanis ... May Almighty Allah, compensate those lawmakers who stood their ground for my people in Taraba state unknowingly.

If this is what it means to wake up, then I pity the states they govern. Politicians who spend so much on social media aides are only looking for online propagandists who will cover their incompetence by praising non existent dividends of democracy in their states, and fighting critics.

Yea, you are very correct , but also look at it from the angle where our people can reach the leaders through their social media aides , cos the oppression with the masse is much an dthe leaders are't aware of it , so many things are happening in the streets that the masses cannot reach the leaders but with social media present , it's possible but the big issue is also using it to oppress the people .

Do you know that from hindsight, if he had stayed back and allow Osho and Obaseki destroy themselves in APC.it would have been difficult for Obaseki to leave for a strong party like PDP, thereby increasing Ize iyamu’s chances at the poll.but then deaperate people hardly think deeply. They are always consumed by the desperation.

Yea, you are very correct ... The Pastor will always regret that move despite all efforts by the PDP to keep.
