My last post with one of my fav lyrics Mary, did you know Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day walk on water? Mary, did you know that your baby boy will save our sons and daughters? Did you know, that your baby boy has come to make you new? This child that you've delivered, will soon deliver you. Mary, did you know that your baby boy will give sight to a blind man? Mary, did you know your baby boy will calm a storm with his hand? Did you know, that your baby boy has walked where angels trod? When you kiss your little baby, you've kissed the face of God. The blind will see The deaf will hear The dead will live again. The lame will leap The dumb will speak The praises of The Lamb. Mary, did you know that your baby boy is Lord of all creation? Mary, did you know that your baby boy will one day rule the nations? Did you know, that your baby boy is heaven's perfect lamb? This sleeping child you're holding, is the great I AM. |

Kay 17: @Kay 17 Hmmmm. Strong omnipotent backlash there ... “A great man is always willing to be little.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson It is true that God is omnipotent or all powerful however He is also modest and respectful God accepted reality and made no attempt to corner or outsmart it. God has no or had no hang ups with the possibility or likelihood of some future event occurring Let the chips fall where they may, God regardless of being omnipotent was ready and willing to be little. Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character Incidentally earlier, although in vain, I tried checking to confirm whether you are familiar with templates and what templates are used for or what templates are all about. Do you know what templates are and what templates are used for or what templates are all about? |

danwo: Kay 17: @Kay 17 "For though Yahweh is high, yet he looks after the lowly; but the proud, he knows from afar." - Psalm 138:6 It is true God is above the "Rule" however God is humble With you it might be different because pride possibly might prevent you from doing what God did. Remember that humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less God thought of Himself less and so was humble enough to forgo any special right, advantage or immunity from the "Rule". Thinking of man, He unceremoniously came down to earth, became the new template and sacrifice. |

Kay 17: @Kay 17 I intend no offense by these remarks. Awwww cute but ignorance is bliss. God will be setting a precedent and a bad one or example for that matter if He cannot obey and abide by His word. The original or beginning template had to be replaced The new template within the boundaries of the rule came in the person of Jesus. You know what a template is and what it is used for or what it is all about, don't you? |

Kay 17: @Kay 17 You thought wrong and some may take it as a naive thought too, because when or if understood, then it becomes obvious that God, regardless of the omnipotence brouhaha, was following a rule. The rule had to do with how to live or reside legally on earth. The rule necessitated a body, the result is Jesus. God became a Daddy (i.e. God the Father) the moment Jesus (i.e. God the Son) was born |

Nuezha: F00028: Nuezha: F00028: @F00028 "why all the drama? why would he cry , my God why have you forsaken me, on the cross?" you say in an uncomplimentary & sneering manner Well if you had continued on from Matthew 27:46 and followed on up to Matthew 27:50 you might understand correctly what actually transpired or happened during that space of time and soon realise that the reason why Jesus cried out, cried out twice as a matter of fact was because Jesus at that point became aware of a reenactment of what happened in Eden was taking/had taken place again with Him. God is no respecter of person, especially where/when sin is involved. What happened to Adam, happened to Him too. Spiritual death first happened before physical death following. Sin and the Spirit are not bedfellows. Sin and Anointing do not work hand in glove. Christ (i.e. the anointing; the Spirit) departed from Jesus The Spirit is like a conduit that connects God the Father and God the Son Jesus sensed that Christ has left Him. The Father has severed the conduit due to the sin now placed on Jesus. The Father had to hands off, back off and step back away from Jesus now. Sin is unacceptable. God is incompatible with sin. It was this abandonment that made Jesus cry out. F00028 whether Jesus "cried or not" was not "drama" so please "you should stop putting it out there like" that. This was a distressful moment. Death whether spiritual or physical is a painful feeling to go through. Shalom. 1 Like |

CrazyMan: obadiah777: tidytim: @CrazyMan I leave that part of fun for my brother obadiah777 @tidytim Sorry, the poll had done a runner or is AWOL. On a serious note Seun had the poll feature disabled or not active after the recent site revamp done. "Poll mode - This selects whether polls are enabled or not. If polls are disabled, any existing polls will be hidden from the topic listing. You can choose to continue to show the regular topic without their polls by selecting "Show Existing Polls as Topics". To choose who can post polls, view polls, and similar abilities, you can change the permissions for those membergroups. If polls are not working on your forum, check to see if they are enabled." - http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Features_and_Options Maybe a case of not enough regression testing to catch this? Thought it would have been fixed by now Maybe the moderators can assist getting Seun's attention to it. @obadiah777 You think "there is two of Wrong. You are one. One person. One person displaying different characters. Occasionally against the grain, when going through heat or under pressure you at times go metamorphic, birthing obadiah777 for example. You are one seed my friend. One seed with a forest of many trees in you, the one seed. You don't know how many of you is in you. Only God knows that. Only He knows the count. Don't shovel "So your position is God is 3 in 1? Trinity" in my mouth. Don't label me with "So your position is God is 3 in 1? Trinity" That would be an injustice just as boxing up God in 3 persons is What barefaced audacity, how much of God do we really know Do we know God in the totality to conclude God is 3 persons God is ∞ persons. One God with ∞ characters. The Father, The Son are examples of His personalities It is short changing boxing up God or labeling Him with trinity PS: ∞ means infinite or infinity When did God become God the Father? (i.e. at what point or time) Was God, God the Father in Eden? The Father was already in God. The Son was already in God. God is a Spirit. These personalities of God were revealed and only manifested at the appropriate time or period. |

obadiah777: ^^^^ I don't completely follow you. Isaiah 53:5 is a letter too? So Jesus didn't die for mankind, our sins? Is that it? So atonement, payment for sins etc that is all palaver? What did Jesus die for then? Why did Jesus die? (i.e. why did He die or have to die?) and don't spin me the Caiaphas' line |

tidytim: What "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one." means literally is "Hear, O Israel: The OWNER our God, the OWNER is one." One God. One God just as there is One Obadiah777. One frosbel. One Pastor Kun. Hmm not exactly One Obadiah777 or One Pastor Kun. There could be another metamorphosis Maybe One Buzugee. One KunleOshob though. The Lord thy God is one and that God is a Spirit God is infinite. It is demeaning boxing God up Frosbel the son Frosbel the father Frosbel the husband Frosbel the CEO Frosbel the Nairaland poster Frosbel the uncle Frosbel the IT guru Frosbel the etcetera Frosbel the <any other personality of his I am yet to know or be familiar with . . .> Frosbel - Same person, but different display or occurrence of distinctive characters at particular or certain instances or period of his life In this case the display or occurrences could be a combination operating at the same time or period Adam knew God as God, Abraham knew God as Friend, Peter knew God as the Son, we know God as Father. Unlike man, nothing is impossible for God, It is not unimaginable that God can be in two places (i.e. more than one place) at the same time. God could be in heaven and also be on earth at the same time (i.e. God the Father & God the Son) albeit within reasons and/or purpose. The LORD our God, the LORD is one. PS: Where is the Poll |

Goshen360: ^^^ obadiah777 has some credible elements about the carcass and the eagles. The atrocities of Ezekiel 34's (i.e. the whole chapter) shepherds (i.e. pastors) taking advantage of, feeding off etc the flock Just as the flock in Ezekiel were sucked dried, without life etc there is now a carcass (i.e. dead body) and wherever there is a dead body (i.e. dead church), predatory eagles (e.g. general overseers, archbishops, bishops, zonal pastors, master prophets etc) are gathering There the eagles gather together under different guises with gimmicks of all sorts capturing preys to maintain a lifestyle etc. Killing the sheep that are fed and feeding not the flock etc Like frosbel has been harping, know which body (i.e. church) you belong to If it is a carcass (i.e. dead body or church) then flee from it. Flee from the eagles. Flee! Run to the mountain top!! Save your life!!! "For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together". - Matthew 24:28 KJV 1 Like |

Fact: Simeon means to hear, listened to, obey etc Niger River runs through Nigeria which is how the country got its name Niger-ia is the most populous country on earth where majority of the population is black (i.e. niger) "In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul" - Acts 13:1 NIV "Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul" - Acts 13:1 KJV |
