manmustwac:Judging from some of the contents on the religious forum I'll say we are billion years far from enlightenment. And the pastors/imams are still doing the thinking for the majority. Sad but true. |
OmoPastor:This has got to be the lamest excuse ever!!!!! It speaks volumes if these fraudsters depend on mere men for protection, yet some mugs keep elevating these charlatans and would not question an obvious fraud because of the fear that has been embbeded in their hearts. jokers. |
God2man, Brother, pls what does God, the omnipotent, the all knowing, need our tithes for? What can you possibly give to one that created everything? It is man that needs tithes, offering or anything material as it is our nature to need such. So tell me what does God need our tithes for? Thanks. |
Acidosis:lol Classic!!!! |
ziccoit:THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! What the hell does "Man of God" mean? It is a term used by fraudulent people. |
"come out and |
Lol, And I guess Mr perfect Frosbel has no flaws that needs attention? You Criticize 'radical' Islam, yet you want to deny me the right to criticize charlatans and fraudsters under the guise of 'man of God'. C'mon Frosbel, come off it. 'It's like a Liar calling another person a thief, or an adulterer laughing at a h.omosexual' ^^^^ I totally agree with the above, you also need to reflect on it. |
Erm, but Mr Frosbel. You are the master criticiser of the Islamic faith on this forum. You really should not call others hypocrites because you need to take a long look at yourself, you'll see another hypocrite. You want the freedom to express your religion and belief system, yet you also want to deny others the rights to do the same. Bigger hypocrite!!! Besides, my post was directed to seun, religious heads, mugs and charlatans. So, Why take offence? Unless you subscribe to any of the listed. |
Seun, Please do not mind these religious heads. You created a site for all to contribute and express themselves, and sensible folks appreciate and must encourage such a medium for information and freedom. If the mugs don't like it,they should ask their charlatans with all the money they have to build a bigoted forum that will only cater to their bigoted minds. Until then, they'll just have to put up or shut up. |
Last week this fraudster "cursed" Boko Haram, few days later another explosion. Now it is time for the spirit of 'insanity'. He can only fool his fellow mugs who find it hard to see through this charlatan. All they know is meaningless threats that they use to comfort their sorry souls. Pathetic man. You need to check yourself if you regard this charlatan as a |
habiolah:Cant I ask you 2 questions? Do you offer burnt offerings the way God instructed in Deuteronomy? Do you also tithe the way God instructed in the same chapter? |
@ violent, I like the way you visualised the disparity between the deceiver and the deceived . Nigerians, the enemies of Nigeria. |
Acidosis:LOL, no I wont. Hope you wont be offended if I call you a typical deceived sheep. Tell me, what happened to the curses your Fraudster sent to Boko-Haram a few days ago?? Or do curses have delivery dates?? Your likes are the ones dragging Nigeria backwards with your foolish ideologies. Now tell me, does it look as if curses will stop these deranged Islamic fundamentalists ?? Instead of pressuring that weakling of a president to apply adequate security measures to protect human lives your Pastor is sending imaginary curses and encouraging a revolution him and his family wouldn't partake in. Tell me, who is the coward? |
I thought Oyedepo had cursed these guys and the problem was solved, what is happening again ![]() When will that weakling of a president attend to this problem, does he think it will just fade away!!!! Finally, a Nigerian problem that seems to surpass the usual lazy divine intervention most over-zealous Nigerians always expects. |
Ijogz K:Stop trying to influence people with fear. That's how the Devil operates. Do you share the same bed with Oyedepo?, just curious to know how you are are well informed about his sleep pattern. 3hrs sleep for the past 30years?? lol is that what he told you? and you wonder why people call him a charlatan. Jokers. |
1. Leviticus 7:6-10 6 Every male among the priests may eat of it. It shall be eaten in a holy place. It is most holy. 7 The guilt offering is just like the sin offering; there is one law for them. The priest who makes atonement with it shall have it. 8 And the priest who offers any man's burnt offering shall have for himself the skin of the burnt offering that he has offered. 9 And every grain offering baked in the oven and all that is prepared on a pan or a griddle shall belong to the priest who offers it. 10 And every grain offering, mixed with oil or dry, shall be shared equally among all the sons of Aaron I read the verses preceding these verses, and from what I gathered the Lord was speaking to Moses, who in turn commanded the people of Isreal and gave them the above instructions. Habiolah, are you a Jew? God did not tell moses to instruct you to do the above. He instructed moses to tell the Jews to do the above; 22 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 23 “Speak to the people of Israel, saying, You shall eat no fat, of ox or sheep or goat. Whoever informed you that lev 7, 6-10 equated to giving to Pastors is a fraud. 2. 1Kings 17:8-9 8 Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, 9 “Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and dwell there. See, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.” To me this is just a matter of English comprehension. The Lord "came to him", Elijah, and instructed him to go to sidon where he instructed a widow to provide for him. That instruction was for Elijah and not for you or me or any Pastor. How did you then come to the conclusion that God 'commanded people to give them' from 1Kings 17:8-9? when the only people in the verse God commanded is the widow and Elijah. 3. Matt 10:41-42 41He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward 42 And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward. Again, just a matter of comprehension. Jesus said 'He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward'. A very simple statement, pls how did you arrive to the conclusion God 'commaded us to give'? In verse 42, it is clearly stated that 'whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, ' When you imply that we give to these men in relation to these verses I only hope that you are talking of 'Cold Water', only then will it be appropriate to align your insinuations and the verse. 4.Luke 10:4-8 4Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way. 5And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. 6And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again. 7And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house. 8And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you: Pls, tell me that those you say "God commanded people to give them" are amongst the seventy the lord appointed in verse 1. Because those were the ones the Lord instructed in verse 4-8 to undertake the eating and the drinking. Furthermore, the never instructed them to collect money. Eating and drinking as stated in verse 7. So please tell me, where did God instruct you and I (not Jews) to give to men parading themselves as men of God? The instructions in the verses you provided were for specific people. |
Her photographer deserves to be shot. Horrible pictures. The lady is trying too hard, she looks pathetic. |
ok habiolah, We all have the right too believe what we want to believe. But please, can you show me the passage in which "God commanded people to give them". Thank you. |
habiolah:How do you know these? Can you see into their hearts? The same questions also applies to me, but I deduce my assertions from the way they behave and their actions. |
^^^^^^^ Mr/ Mrs habiolah I am not against anyone getting rich when they have laboured for it, but getting money in the name of Jesus or Mohamed or God is not labouring. It is Fraud and deceit. If you work for shell for 30 years of course you deserve all the perks that comes along with it as long as you are not ripping people off. Pls tell me, is God's place of worship Shell? or a corporation? Both are not similar in anyway. If a Pastor gets rich working like the rest of his congregation then I he has my deep respect. But if the Pastor gets rich from the financial mechanism of the church whilst those that contribute to tat wealth are still uncomfortable , then he is an opportunist and a fraud just as the bible predicted. At the end of the day all is Vanity. So the main contention is the source of the wealth. |
plaetton:Spiritual salvation is a second matter, these guys must enjoy on earth first because they are not even sure if the heaven they preach is real. So, they eat their cakes and also hope to have it at the same time. |
Oyedepo should make sure his family is at the fore front of the "revolution". A fraudster inciting hatred but would be nowhere when the bombs starts going. Funny man. |
A religious fanatic is one that is deeply insecure of his/her faith but has to aggressively defend it in the face of obvious reason just to cover his/her low self-esteem. |
@ Deepsight. I very much agree with your post. I understand the need for subtle intervention so as to prevent confusion in the minds of a child. I think the age and maturity of the child is the main contention. I personally despise over-zealous religious attributes and would not want any of my offspring to lean towards such tendencies and any age before 16. I guess it is more ideal to infuse your reservations and the appropriate age when the children starts to question some things themselves. However, please note that some children will not ask questions and would only delve into the mass delusion of some religious attributes and might even find themselves move closer towards fanaticism. It might sound a bit extreme but fanatics do not just start with their believes in a day, I believe it takes years of continuous focus on just a singular pattern of a belief system. Most have not been exposed to the variety of believe systems and the need to incorporate diversity and tolerance in their doctrines. That is why I advocate, to some extent, early intervention when the spouse is developing and encouraging the little mind's religious life. I guess we should all know our partners well enough to consider having children with them, and we should address issues like this before bring an innocent mind into this world of confusion. Nice one deepsight, I also have learnt a lot from this discussion. @Muskeeto I'll mail you soon. I'm new to this whatapp thing and e-mail you my ID the moment I figure out where it is. |
OlowoTee:Indeed they need our prayers, to swindle our monies and budget 1billion naira for food. We pray for them whilst their children fly about in private jets. They really need our prayers. |
^^^^ M-nwankwo, I am really impressed with your post above. @Deepsight I have always shared the same with you view with regards to spouse/child indoctrination until I came across Nwakwo's post above. Indeed, there is nothing wrong in letting your child know about one's certain reservations with regards to the spouse's religion rather than letting him/her have full control of the child's religious upbringing. @musketo Bro, I have not seen it yet. would you send me your e-mail instead and I mail you. |
Well articulated and understood. The problem I have presently is that I just cant seem to ignore open hypocrisy. However, I have always maintained a similar stand to yours and focus on the good aspects of religion. |
hmmm, So, you have personally not witnessed any judgement abi? You have just given me a third-hand account of an 'alleged' judgement. You make it seem as though those who die in accidents might have died of God's judgement. What about Children who die in accidents? Were they judged too? Anyway, I have seen when you have called a minister ignorant, because he dis-approves of Congregational loyalty and encouraged his congregation to worship at other denominations. Remember!!! So are you exempted from not Judging? |
@muskeeto pls do send your Id to dare2think@mailinator.com @Deepsight You can try using a disposable email if you don't want to reveal your email identity. (mailnator is one I just came accross) Deep Sight:I agree 100% with the above However, I still think people should address the 'ridiculous' nature of some religious practices in order to enlighten the 'inbetweeners' that are still sitting on the fence. Bearing in mind that some religionist can not be changed. Examples of such practices would be abuses penetrated on the vulnerable and those who don't have the capacity to raise objections. I.e children. Another danger of not talking against the ridiculousness would be the tragic case of the Jim Jones saga where mass suicide was seen by the victims as a 'reasonable' outcome. I hope you get my drift. Deep Sight: |
Joagbaje:Lol, Please, when was the last time God judged his 'ministers' in Nigeria? Have you ever witnessed such judgement? What kind of judgements are they? All I need is just one example, just one. Thank you. |
muskeeto, I think we might be on the same wave-length. (you on watsapp?) @post Pls create an organisation that would be productive to the human mind and not one that is set on challenging other peoples' choices. Enlightenment is what the African continent needs to emancipate itself from feudal ideologies, however people should be free to practise whatever as long as it does not impede on the rights of others. It goes both ways. |
^^^^^^^ Lol. They dont see things like that!!!!! Charlatans. |
