Did my application online, went for processing at Alausa January 6. Up until now, checking the portal for my status I keep seeing "Pending production". Its 3 months already. I am tempted to go there and ask what's going on. Anyone else with a similar experience? |
Dam5reey1:I was initially thinking of getting the mppt controller alone but now its obvious I need to step up the panels as well. Thanks for your input |
BigDickProblems:I appreciate this. Thanks |
Good morning wonderful people. I stumbled on this thread and its been educative even though i no understand most of the big terms thrown around lol ![]() So i have a small problem or should I say dilema. My setup: Battery: Tubular 200Ah, 12V (new) -- Brand is Kartel Inverter: 1500W, 12V (Sukam Falcon, Pure sine wave) Solar Panels: 2 × 300W (600W total). I dont know much about the charge controller but I will attach a picture to help guide whomever is answering. Load: Fan - 125 W TV - 60 W Laptop - 39W 5 LED bulb lights I used the battery from Friday evening to Sunday early morning cos our light wasn't good (low voltage). Throughout Saturday from morning till about 5pm i was using TV and the fan whilst charging via solar. At night i used the fan alone till morning. The battery was low (11.0v) and started charging again via solar around 8am. I plugged a phone and the fan before unplugging everything around 12pm. By 3.30 pm I plugged the fan and lights before unplugging at 5pm. I powered it on by 7pm and within 15 minutes I got a battery low notification to reduce load at 14%. TV and fan plugged. The voltage had dropped from 11.9 to 11.5v too. I had to switch off the TV and maintained a 003% load to use 11.3v till the morning. On Monday when I got home around 6.30pm I found that it's just 12v on the controller and sure enough, after plugging the TV, it started screaming after 30 minutes. Now my question is: is there something wrong with the setup? I got the setup last December and I'm sure of the battery's performance with PHCN for at least 16 hours with average load. Also, my compound borders a storey building that casts a shadwo around 3.30pm so I'm sure that also counts. Someone suggested i got an mppt controller. Help me guys. I'm fine with normal battery charge but i feel I'm not getting the best out of my solar setup. Attached is the controller

Hello guys, I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this, two weeks ago I got a prompt on my IRCC account to set up 2FA which I did, and since then I've been unable to sign in to my account. The login will confirm successfully but I'm always in a endless loop of clicking on "Sign in" everytime I try to go to "My Applications". Anyone who has been able to get around this issue please? |
Clicked:Ahhh mad ooo ... Na u o. Congratulations. |
buckolah:SINP draws were held last week, 67 was the cutoff. It was by job occupations too. |
aremso:LMFAO. This is just too funny. Helping a stranger online by claiming to be siblings for immigration purposes. Nawa óò 😂 |

I've been postponing the IELTS since last year and finally summoned courage to register last month. Even though I had ample time to study in spite of my busy work schedule, I only did practice for a week last month and forgot all about it. 3 days to the test last week and I was scared because my speaking practice was terrible. Like I couldn't even get past 2 mins while recording myself I Sha encouraged myself and went in to the exam center, lo and behold this morning when results came in, it wasReading 8 Listening 8 Writing 7 Speaking 8.5 I couldn't believe it cos I was stammering a bit at the part 1 of the speaking test but got relaxed at part two and 3. I'm just happy I cleared it at the first time of asking. My advise is this... For listening, pay attention to IELTS Liz and understand tye format of the question and the length of answers required. Do few practice tests and that's it. Writing, use the first 2 mins to write your points down first before typing. A lot of candidates in my center started typing away immediately and many complained that they couldn't finish on time. Reading is a bit easy if you can properly practice with few tests. Again, pay attention to the answer length. For Speaking I guess, just relax and practice in front of the mirror. U are good to go

fersam:I can't say, depends on what requirements are needed from where you are applying to |
fersam:When did you write your test? |
I don't think you have much choice in this matter as you seem to think. Your current job is the new one you have agreed to start after the Easter break. Your current employer whom u have resigned from can always acknowledge your resignation and say something like re: Resignation last week blah blah. My advice is to focus on getting ready for ur new place of work cos u have essentially resigned from ur current place |
This is 2023 bro. Nobody does that physical submission stuff no more. At least I never did and I finished NYSC several years ago. 1. If you have a marketable degree, I mean degree that is hot cake in the Nigerian market like accounting, computer science etc., go to websites like jobberman, hotnigerianjobs, indeed, my job mag, etc. Filter vacancies by ur field and APPLY AGGRESSIVELY. 2. Learn hard and selling skills that will stand you out from other candidates. If you have a financial degree (tax, audit, accounting, banking and finance), take on skills like Advanced Excel, Business intelligence software like Power BI..also add an ICAN to ur profile. You may also choose to upskill in software development as well if inclined. 3. Brush up your CV and make sure you have the keywords that will allow your CV pass the HR ATS software. no dey stress yourself submitting CV anywhere o, unless leg no dey pain u. |
Abeg she wasn't kidnapped due to her Facebook post. Anybody that knows that route will be aware that it is an hotspot for bandits and kidnappers. When I served in Katsina, I took the old road route from Lagos through Niger state to Kaduna and Katsina. From Mokwa till you reach Kaduna and Funtua is bad road filled with potholes. That is one of the loneliest routes I've passed through, I was scared throughout the journey. If someone is about to get killed in that place help might not even come in 2 or 3 hours. Its that terrible |

ikswiss:According to university admissions you don't have to.... I love your brief insight regarding the possibilities of integrating in Sweden as a foreigner, it's better to be aware of the issues before going
|
hmmm |
Seeing this topic at first glance, it was a no-brainer. However after reading the whole gist, I will not quit my job. That sacrifice is better done for countries like USA, Canada, Germany, Sweden or Australia |
RUN OO |
