The Sentinels This group are the first to check the veracity of Posts. These people can smell scam from a thousand yard. Some people may even wait for them to comment on a job posting before applying. Anytime this people comment "scam", bro run for your life. I can mention tons of name but lemme save it. The Paranoid/Aladdin This group scream "SCAM" everywhere without an iota of due diligence. It's either they are paranoid or they are catching fun. Such are the END TIME commenters. |
Dear Kelechi, Computer Engineering ! = Elect/elect Engineering. Some employers are not concerned about your course content. Pray for His favour. Apply for the job after your nysc or at the tail. Note that NYSC certificate is a requirement. Good luck bro. #GodBlessNigeria |

My Review I ordered a 40" samsung UH6900 for 75k from Acunon. I paid via interbank transfer to him even though we have never met. He kept me updated as he received the payment. Needless to say there was a minor hitch as it took some time before it entered his account. What kept my BP in check was his follow-up. Apart from the TV, he also helped me get Bluray player(Samsung), HDMI & AV cable and wall mount at reasonable prices. More importantly, he surprised me with a free gift of 8GB flash drive filled with HD movies. What more can I say. I am happy to say that I have tested the TV and the Bluray, so far everything is in order. I am still going to other a lot of some other stufffs from him. My review is incomplete without pointing out his imperfection. At least we are all human. Contrary to my plan, he delivered the package to Ile-Ife instead of Osogbo. That made me incur some minor extra Cost. Nevertheless he apologized for the inconvenience and gave a reasonable explanation. In conclusion, he is a go-to guy. Infact, I'm looking forward to buying a bigger screen from him soon

Mr Irohadis, Tell me I can still rock my adidas cleat. Booking Number S1408285832. What do you think about my story? |
I have learnt my lesson with Shippyme. Anything that smell shippyme is like ebola to me. Run for your life. Here is my story. I used them out of ignorance to ship a pair of soccer boot I got off ebay auction @ $29. After shippyme received the package about a week or so later, estimate for air freight was about $70. I thought I should opt for the sea option. That was estimated at around $20. Though I was asked to pay the Naira equivalent to a bank account or so. To cut the story short I was notified that the package is in-transit to Nigeria even though I was yet to pay the ship cost. Well, I've heard of companies where you'll pay at delivery. About 5 months or more later, my package was finally delivered to Nigeria. Halleluyah I was not even around when I received the mail of the delivery. Note that it was delivered to their Lagos office. I was not around to collect it immediately. 2 weeks later, I contacted them about the package on phone. To my greatest dismay, instead for them to apologize for poor service, the clueless girl was concerned about how I'll pay N9,000 before I could collect my package. I couldn't believe my ears. I just laughed it off and told them to keep the shoes. Idiots. Very crappy service. My 1 naira. Run for your life |

iliyande:Stop spitting nonsense if you are clueless. There are many Americans and Non-muslim foreigners working in SA. Check out companies like Aramco. Fabiomatic, you're on point #GodBlessNigeria |

I am glad to have stumbled on this thread. I salute the insight and wisdom shared by the experienced as per whether to get a masters, certification or experience in order to improve the odds. Well I'd say it all depends on the industry. Talking from experience, in the telecom sector experience is more valued maybe probably followed by certifications. I have worked as a field engineer for more than 2 years and I can tell you for entry level no one cares if you have a masters. What matters is if you can Configure those router, troubleshoot that DXx, NodeB/BTS etc. Your masters can only be useful if you are seeking a promotion to a managerial role. Many of this Telcos are not ready to train or invest in you. They are looking for readymade products. They are aware that certifications do not necessary translate to Competence. This is my 20 kobo. If you have the chance to gain experience directly from the industry even if it's a tiny company take it. That's probably your most valuable lifeline My humble opinion. #GodBlessNigeria |
