I was not invited for the test (not preselected) but got a regret mail like I said earlier

I got a Regret Mail today indicating that only First Class Graduates were preselected.

INFORMATION TO GRADUANDS
(A) All students who completed their degree programmes during the 2011/2012 and 2012/2013 sessions are to collect their academic robes, Order of Proceedings, and two Guest Cards from their College / Faculty Secretaries between 8.00 a.m and 4.00 p.m a day preceding the award of degrees in their disciplines on the presentation of receipts showing payment and submission of a photocopy of same as indicated below:
(i)First Degrees and Diplomas
All graduands are required to pay convocation charges ofN6,500.00inclusiveof the OAU Alumni Advancement levy ofN1,500.00.
(ii)Higher Degrees
All graduands are required to pay convocation charges ofN8,500.00inclusiveof the OAU Alumni/Advancement levy ofN,1.500.00
(B) Graduands should assemble at the Car Park of the Sports Complex on their graduation day not later than 8.30 a.m. They must be fully robed and seated in the places allocated to them at the convocation venue by 9.15 a.m.NOBODY INCLUDING GRADUANDS AND THEIR PARENTS/GUARDIANS, WILL BE ADMITTED INTO THE HALL, AFTER 9.30 A.M. EACH DAY.
(C) Academic robes must be returned the same day of the Convocation. Failure to return the gowns on the prescribed date and time shall attract a fine ofN2,000.00 per day.
(D) Commercial Photographers/Video Operators will be chargedN5,000.00 for the period. All those interested in functioning as Photographers/Video Operators are required to make payment to the Cash Office in the Bursary Department of the University between 9.00 a.m and 3.00 p.m from Monday, 1stDecember, 2014 and the receipts should be presented to the Public Relations Officer who will issue certificate of accreditation to operators.
(E) All Cars, Buses and Motorcycles coming to the campus will payN500.00 each per day during the period of Convocation.
Graduands are not allowed to leave the Convocation venue before the end of the ceremony each day.
Graduands are strongly advised to comply with these arrangements.
Please note that whenever graduands are collecting their certificates, they will be required to show evidence of payment of the Convocation fees and also payment of a sum ofN3,000.00 for OAU memorabilia at the Advancement Office.
We congratulate all graduands and wish them journey mercies to and from Ile-Ife.

I would advise you get close to people in the field and try to get some experience even if it means working for free.
There are lots of opportunity in telecoms.
Don't look up to money coz there's no money in telecoms like before.

I am an FME with a Teleco coy. I manage close to 40 sites. with about 5 ISM Mech. Technicians, 3 Elect Technicians, 2 Power Engineers, etc
My job range from diesel level tracking to Fault resolutions to Report writing.

I have worked my ass off as a contract staff under probational period for the past six month. I am supposed to get a pay rise next month.

Today was bad news. I got an offer of contract extension till February at the same tiny pay. I feel like not going to office tomorrow.

As for misdirection by Google maps, sorry bro it's not totally Google's fault. People add places to Google maps manually since Google can not differentiate a hotel from a bank or worse still a poultry. Someone probably told Google that that building is a bank. This happens a lot especially to Nigeria since only few people contribute. Computers are not so smart. Are they?
You can make a positive contribution by indicating to Google maps that that place no be bank.

Now to the main point. The T fare for the buses is #20 per drop. It is not free as one would expect. Also someone pointed out that the school uniform goes for #1950.
Critically speaking, I expect him to do better. I know the government cannot give everything free but it can be more subsidized. The T fare should not be more than #10 and the uniform should be less than #1500.
Anyways, Aregbesola is trying and let's not hate him based on unjustifiable grounds

Recently I purchased an Ipod Touch 5G from a friend (used) who has lost the follow-come earpod. I have been having problem getting the best sound out of this gadget. Most of the earphones have tried either has poor sound quality, low bass or noisy treble. I know I can get Sony XBA line or Dr Dre Beats to kill it, but this pieces are off budget.
