You are a true rep of the private Universities.

Acidosis: lol.. unlike Nigerian Universities where OAU students dey pay N5000 (less than $300) for a whole section, yet still complaining and asking for free education grin

I just laugh when people insult private unis in Nigeria...

But when they see expensive government and private universities abroad, everybody go just open mouth like DUNDEE.

The policy affects both Tokunbo and brand new imported cars. It favours those who will bring in the cars in parts and assemble here.

In my opinion, it is not bad a policy.

You meant the Indians? What's special about the white skinned people that Nigerians would not be able to confront them for warranty. I think the issue is most people do not know their rights.

chifreke: if u buy KIA and u want to enjoy do ur services judiciously...if the problem is serious they can change ur car complete...d problem we Nigerians have is we cant confront the white skinned man..these koreans are cunny.. and will always try to hide from warranty loss...if u ever have warranty problem confide in a nigeria staff for advice..

Is there any 2.0 Cerato that's not keyless?

Please is there any other known issues with the latest Cerato. That car is beautiful with a whole lots of great features. Best U.S Autoranking in Affordable Small Cars and Affordable Compact Cars after Mazda3, beating the likes of Civic, Corolla, Elantra, etc.

Thanks.

chifreke: Base on the experience our numerous custmers had while using MOHAVE. any second the battery is faulty the car can lock u inside, d car can be parked anywhere, u are as good as no car.keyless is luxurious we know that, to replace the key will cost u a fortune to the tune of 120k and above..if the start botton compartment is faulty, at a short summary...it is costly to main and easy to brakedown in case of keys.

Business › Re: Is Gtbank Really The Best Bank In Nigeria by datola: 7:40pm On Nov 18, 2013
Fola did not pass on to anywhere o. He's still alive. It's Uncle Tayo that has transited- a fine gentle man. He really tried. The current MD I heard is a bully.

Flyboy Zee: GTB is not in anyway among the best banks in Nigeria.

I have had dealings with Intercontinental Bank, they used to be good up north, but down south, they were just another hag until they metamorphosed into Access. That Bank is crappy.

I moved on to GTB because of the hype in 2008. It was cool then. Good courteous staff with great CRS and prompt services. But after Fola passed on, the Bank passed on with him. May his soul rest in peace. Amen. I walked into a GTB to do some funds transfer while I was in transit, and the teller/cashier was like I should go home and set up my internet service to do internet banking, for chrissakes, WTF? I should leave the bank and go hme first before I can transfer funds. Haba! Ja ma ha!!!

I then moved on to FBN in 2010, and noticed that the bank has changed so much since 1998 when I opened my first account with the bank. Services were great and off the hook. No matter the crowds at the ATMs or inside the bank, you still got served and served well. They were the first to make mobile banking a pocket thing. They simplified internet banking without a token and made money transfer as cheap and easy as buying groundnuts at the street corners. No matter the size of their customer base, the staff are always courteous and helpful. FBN made me loved using bank services all over again...

At fidelity, the bankers were okay. Services weren't that bad either. But, technology wise, they were still in the 1960s. Do you believe that even as at now, the bank is yet to have a good mobile money service? Its just undiscernible in these times and age.

At Stanbic IBTC, they lean towards better corporate services than personal/individual banking. They have good well trained, courteous staff all over the country. But are still lacking in mobile banking services.

#My battery is running low. I'll continue after recharging the batteries#
Business › Re: Is Gtbank Really The Best Bank In Nigeria by datola: 6:17pm On Nov 18, 2013
GTBank used to be 'very best' before the current MD, Agbaje took over. Staff now work under pressure unlike before and this has largely affected customer service.

I can's still however see any bank taking over from them yet.

The brand is still the strongest and that explians unwavering customer loyalty as evidensed by crowd at all their branches.

They need to go back to good old days. Everything is not all about declaring huge quarterly/yearly profits at the expensive of staff/customer satidafction.
Career › Re: List of Companies That Promote Staff Welfare And Treat Them Well by datola: 3:58pm On Nov 18, 2013
I am sure more companies would do better if they have the financial capacity.

Shell, Chevron, Total are oil companies. The jumbos pay received there are paid for by oil host communities and the country in general.

Let's talk about Dangote, Globalcom, MTN, etc before everybody will go to their pastor for fasting and prayer to share in the oil money that Ken Saro Wiwa was killed for.

Kudos to Nestle, Friesland Campina (Peak Milk), Google- best place to work, Nokia, Microsoft, etc, all foreign companies though.

Please can snail be reared on an open plot of land without using pens. The land is a loaming/black soil land with vegetation such as plantain, coco yam, pawpaw tree and other leafy trees and grasses providing shade.

Please advice.

Thank you for the excellent posts.
Agriculture › Re: Snail Farming, Why Archachatina Marginata In Nigeria? by datola: 5:46pm On Nov 15, 2013
Marginata appear more like the common snail in Nigeria. I am also doing research on the snail farming thing.

Let's share knowledge.

5p1naz: Hi snail farm experts. Just got to Nigeria on Wednesday after an intensive training on snail farming. I want to expand my investments and go into snail farming. I know about the A. Achatina and the A. Marginata. I know the a. Achatina can produce between 100 to 400 eggs in a year and the marginata can produce between 10 to 40. But what I do not understand here in Nigeria is why do investors invest more into the marginata as it doesn't make any business sense to me. If the A. Achatina produces more. I guess that means more money right? But most farms I've seen invest in marginata. Pls I need to understand why this is. I wanna be careful before I open the farm. Cheers guys.
Properties › Re: ....... by datola: 1:06pm On Oct 22, 2013
That is the truth!

helpee: Honestly, ejecting a tenant is more complex than issuing a quit notice wether one month or 6 months especially in lagos and if the tenant is very educated. I got a quit notice from my landlord cos the wife of his son that came to live in the compund started complaining bitterly about our business... She doesn't want a business within the house. That's her choice and I don't blame her but I am not going to abadon a business I built with my sweat unless I am so sure where I am going. By the way, its a hospital and I also live in a flat within the compound so I use multiple flats. All was well till the son of the landlord who wasn't living with us b4 got married and his father renovated one of the flats for him. To cut a long story short, she picked fight with my wife, ordered my nurses to close gates and so many things which I endured at ist. Then his father came and advised we moved the business out which I agreed if they give us time but unfortunately, the son got a lawyer and gave me six month quit notice. That's not acceptable to me cos its my business, my career and no matter how much I hate trouble, I won't sit down and watch my landlord destroy my carrer. For ur information, I am presently building my permanent site which I bought after the quit notice 3minutes away from my present location and so far, I've spent almost 15million on it. The case is in court after one year 7months now and the lawyer that advised them stopped attending court sittings cos I gave them a technical knock out that can get the case stalked in the next 3yrs. Meanwhile, I plan to open my site by january or latest by march by HIS grace. Talk to your tenant. It is easier to eject using dialogue than court. Don't need to tell you that since the case is in court...which I warned them about...I don't pay rent. In lagos, if u try to force out a well enlightened fellow...u may box urself to a corner. Talk to him you want to use your house and he will move in time
