Your mechanic will have to remove the tank and clear the ghost fuel in it. It has happened to my car once. I think it's caused by the practice of topping fuel on the car more than necessary when in gas station. |
I think this is an expected behaviour when you start the car after it's been packed for hours/ and or first time in the day. |
Great piece! Sanusi has tried. However, I think the nation's fiscal/ monetary policy committee should be constituted such that it will include Minister of Finance, CBN Governor, representative of the organized private sector and an Institute such as ICAN, CIBN, etc, The task is enormous wich requires most sound judgement to be able to drive the economy in the best direction. Kudos to OBJ administration for helping the real sector to grow with some drastic measures such as banning of importation of a whole lot of food items- juice drink, poultry, etcetera. Once again, kudos to Sanusi for not allowing himself servant of the Brenton Wood Institutions any how. |
Abiola's death paved the way for Dangote to be come richest Nigerian. IBB, the self aclaimed evil genius is the devil incarnate |

Yes, miracles happen and I have witnessed so many especially at the Redemption camp. Miracle is a special and supernatural event by God. Giving birth to babies is also a miracle to me. Miracles used to occur frequently when men used to be close to God. Nowadays, it's scarce because wo/men are moving away from God with their sinful acts. Fashola did not say water would be provided by 2020. He said there is enough water to supply Lagosians up to 2020. Why are some Nigerians like..., including our leaders at the helm in Abuja- always displaying ignorance of issues publicly. @Goddex, are you part of them in Abuja? Goddex: It's a very big shame on opposition ACN for a State they have ruled for 14 years only to start promising pipe borne water in 2020. Municipal water supply is a sole responsibility of the state government so Tinubu and the loudmouth Liar Muhammed cannot play that their usual pusssy cat tricks of pushing blames on FG. |
annoymous: Its impossible. Even 11mths is near impossible. And fibroids don't allow pregnancies to stay longer except if its blocking the passage (lower part). On the contrary, fibroids usually cause early termination of pregnancy resulting in either a miscarriage or a premature delivery. God has so designed the fetus that after 9mths the placenta begins to degenerate and cannot keep up with providing nutrition for the baby - that's why just before 42 weeks, the pregnant woman is either induced artificially or made to undergo a cesarean section. But of course, you can choose to believe whatever u want.God- the Unchangeable Changer! It's not impossible that this story is true. Same way He made Sarah at age 90 to conceive and be delivered of baby Isaac. Praise His holy name. |
Wa o, thank God! @Op, the title should have been: Woman Delivered of Baby After Two Years Pregnancy |

GEJ, always playing into the hands of his enemies. |
It's only Nigerians that must name thir children other people's name, be it British, Arabic or Hebrew/Jewish. When are we going to be free from the colonialism. Shameless people. May be Nigeria should scatter and her citizens be shared among all other nations of the world because Nigeria has slidded in all ramifications. Nigeria(ans) think! |
Praise God! Thank God for your life. For He has said: "I will not die any death but live to declare the works of the Lord" God is good all the time! |
Remark an exam that's not written. How would remarking change the performance. Or are they telling us the system that handles the marking is faulty or manipulated. For what purpose could that be |

One car that I like is Toyota Avalon from 2005 upwards, but my problem is that their tires usually touch the body of the car. That's the only thing I hate about the car as it makes the car look so ugly looking at it from the tires. @all, please how can I overcome this? |
I will like to suggest the banning of importation of cars from Cotonu. Why did I say this?: 1. Incidents of car theft will reduce to bearest minimum because most stolen cars find their way to Cotonu which are then resold to Nigerians who prefer Cotonou sold cars. 2. Incidents of death as a result of car jacking will almost eradicate. 3. Nigerian faily used Carr market will boom. 4. More revenue for the FG as as importers will be forced to use the ports- smuggling will be a thing of the past especially if there is a law that restrict registration of cars not imported through the authorized ports. I know this policy will adversely affect Benin Republic economy- but our country's well being should be first consideration. If Nigeria is to consider them at all, the Beneniou govt. should undertake to stop the practice of car theft to Cotonu. Remember the era of Obasanjo when robbers stole Iysbo's car to Cotonu and baba ordered their president to produce the car within certain hours and that Nigeria would block it borders against Benenious. The president was begging OBJ and almost postrating. Recall that the car was return to Nigeria and the culprit arrested and tried here. That was great time indeed as crime of car jacking hardly was heard of. Nairalanders, it appears our government collect bribe from other countries in order to humiliate Nigrians and subject them to hardship. Government can easily stop issue of car jacking by some simple policies. If not, how did OBJ achieved what I sated above. I will appreciate our candid and patriotic opinion on this issue. |
I discovered that my Toyota Camry 96 model ( called Orobo in Naija) could start remotely. I accidentally discovered this while playing with the remote: by pressing down the open and lock button at the same time. I later saw it where it was inscribed on the car that the car was installed with remote start technology. I was very surprised of a old car as 96 Camry XLE could have such feature. @ Op, nice one! |
Nashville: OP,He owes him a lot. Remeber the Op said the firend has been there for him through life/school. He just need to apply wisodom in not involving him in the bsiness. @Op, please find any way possible (but do not involve him in the bsuiness so as not to create future problems) to settle your friend who was there for you when you had nothing. I'm happy for you for doing a profitable business All the best! |
Once you drive a 6 cylinder you will not want to try anything 4 cylinder again V6 engines are quieter, smoother, cleaner and more balanced to drive. On Fuel consumption: the higher the cylinder the more fuel, not in all instances though. Toyota Rav4 6 cylinder and 4 cylinder engines have the same MPG- same level of fuel consumption. Some cars like Toyota Avalon and Sienna come standard with V6 engines and that's part of main reasons they are smooth to drive. |
This is one of the best I've read on Nairaland autos. Kudos! |
Igbo brothers being chased from the North and South.. also from Ghana. Something must be wrong. Stop this marginalisation before another "There Was A Country" fiction is written. |
See what people are celebrating as achievement. Cost of 10 private jets of GEJ can do more than this. While PDG led by GEJ is using 10 of Nigeria's money for development and embezelling the rest 90% either by him, proxies and his leautenants ACN is happier using 30% for develpment and the rest 70% percent is shared. What a failed people! Even governemt in far away UK is asking questions on how Nigeria is using her enoumours financial resources. Let's stop celebrating mediocracy and call a spade a spade. A/n honest primary school leaver can do better! |
An average car "rewire" should able to fix it. I experienced same issue on the same vehicle and it was resolved. I can"t remember vividly how it was resolved. |
Back then in Ife, when some students were complaining of the academic rigour of Ife, they were asked who assisted them to fill UME/JAMB form that they could have chosen either of DENSU, BENSU, NNSUK, IMSU, etc. Great Ife! |
Liar! There is no Ife Business administration graduate anywhere because Ife does not have Business Admministration as undergraduate course. Ife graduates are thorough and very briliant. Conduct a study of performance of graduates in top companies and feed back on which school graduates perform best. Olodo! Edosa Great: In the year 2010, i met a business administration graduate from OAU. He came 4an oral interview in Delta career college warri to seek a techin job cud nt define management wen he was askd to, and cudn't enumerate d factors 2b considered b4 setin up a busines, didnt know d father of management and d principles of managenent. It's not bad so far they did not cheat or stole to make the money. I mean if the source of their wealth is clean in the sight of God- not Nigerian's way of "making it". |
