PoliticsRe: I Have Fulfilled My Promise On Power Sector - Jonathan by datribune: 10:01pm On Feb 20, 2015
Tibins:
He's made it priority. Just one year down the line after privatization, you don't have to expect so much. Even if it is apc, starting a power plant today, you won't get so mouch result after one year. They can only appeal for more time. Power sector wasn't working, that was why he privatised it. Now this a new page of the power sector. The end of privatisation is the begining of investment in that sector.
You don't expect all the investment to come in all at once.
Building a power generator / generation station is one thing, it's another thing to bring in gas infrastructure, and step it up, before transmitting into the grid.
This man is doing all that is possible live up to expectation, let's support him please.
The we talk on the social media is enough to send investors parking.
If we scare them away where will the employment be created.
Other countries have their problems, but you won't hear them talk this way.

FYI, I just paid electricity bill of 21,000 naira in one month dat i didn't use. Pls try & educate urself on d buyers of PHCN & u'll see dat they ar d usual suspects - govt sponsors & cronies. d party will soon be over 4 dis govt sponsors & major beneficiaries of d scam dat PDP calls privatization. d corrupt PDP has stripped our nation of its assets & shared our national patrimony among themselves in deals dat reek of corruption & infamy.
We shall vote massively 4 GMB d way we voted 4 d man who once had no shoes but betrayed d poor & sided wit d rich & govt sponsors. d rich became richer & d poor became poorer wit govt assets & corporations shared among govt cronies in d name of a fraudulent scam disguised as privatization.
smh. We can't go on dis way. SAI GMB/PYO

Something is not right. Why did it take a 6-week postponement of d polls & an impending massive loss 4 d ruling party at d polls to make d service chiefs wake up & giv d Boko Boys a real fight. Now d gloves ar off & all guns ar blazing because d PDP which has been living a lie wit d boko haram insurgency is at risk of losing d elections. If they had fought wit dis kind of determination b4 now, d insurgency would hav been a thing of d past. There hav been been reports of planes delivering supplies to boko boys & now planes ar said to be distributing BH propaganda materials discouraging people frm voting. We ar no fools. Boko Haram is a PDP affair - late Nat. Sec. Adviser Azazi.

Wit little or no achievement to point to, dis govt can only rely on politics of division & bigotry to rally d misguided band of bigots. What makes d PDP think dat non-indegenes will vote 4 GEJ when even d south/south is regretting voting 4 someone dat has shown clearly dat he lacks d bandwidth to run a country as intricate & complex as nigeria. GEJ will go down as d most divisive leader in nigerian history. He inherited a nation in times of relative peace & plenty but turned it to one of more divisiveness & a veritable factory 4 producing more tribal & religious bigots & a nightmare 4 d poor. It is shameful dat d dysfunctional PDP continues to encourage division in lagos state by insisting dat there's a deliberate ploy to disenfranchise non-indegenes. Stop d division. Many voters in lagos state haven't got their PVCs, period.

I am just worried that OBJ and Tinubu who couldn't see eye to eye a few years ago are now best of pals singing the same song and somehow Atiku and OBJ, two sworn enemies are in the same camp endorsing a man they jointly defeated in the 2003 polls. I am confused about this kind of change where corrupt ex presidents and VP implicated in the Haliburton scam are also shouting corruption. The same Haliburton scandal that fetched a US congressman jail time. I can still stomach Buhari but the presence of these guys back in the presidency makes me jittery: Atiku, OBJ and Tinubu all in one group. Beware of this sophisticated pimps. I believe they joined the change train to protect their investments and interest. Nigerians shine your eyes, this isn't change, this is continuation. This is the reason we must be careful about politician, they become united when they smell power and money. Our participation is all they need not our contribution.
Buhari though disciplined to an extent cannot do it alone at that age. Nigeria is a lot more volatile and complex than what it used to be in the early 80s. These are the guys to advice him and place people into positions that matter. May we eventually get the change we actually wished for. Before you join them in heating up the polity ensure you get a guarantee from them that they, their children, wives, friends who have benefited from them would be the first line of defence while we follow from a distance. If they are so passionate about this democracy and want to show their full commitment then they must lead by example starting from the battle field. Since they love us so much then they must show it first by leading any protest that may occur as a result of any anomalies from the forthcoming election. Jonathan might join APC tomorrow and he would be welcomed with pomp and pageantry. Do not lose sleep or your life over them, they are only doing their jobs. Remember 3 million people died in the Civil war, there are no monuments to even recognise or appreciate the blood they sacrificed for Nigeria which unfortunately is still a country not a nation. Stop d fear mongering. Nigerians know dat In terms of corruption, side by side wit GEJ who along wit his wife were on d effcc list of d corrupt, those men ar saints. In leadership terms they ar far better than dis clueless man dat does not know what he's doing.
How did OBJ destroy d parry?. How is it OBJ's fault dat GEJ lacked d capacity & leadership to hold d party together & stop d migration of party leaders & members who left in droves?. How is it OBJ's fault dat GEJ could not call his wife to order when she publicly insulted Amaechi in d glare of her kinsmen?. How is it anyone's fault dat GEJ who had unprecedented goodwill frm all across Nigeria decided to squander it on d alter of rabid corruption?. Buahri became popular because he humbled himself this time around by bowing to some traitors in the south unlike 2011 when he was still strongly Arrogant like is Godfathers in the North for he did not give a dam to anyone in the South altogether back then.

However, to the real matured voters in the South altogether, anything Buhari is known to them as Bokoharam. You need to do your research to know this.
Speak 4 ur ignorant self. To bigots like u, dis election is about tribe & religion while to d informed, dis election is a referendum on d  performance of both major candidates while in public office. Buhari has been & will always be a patriot of no mean repute who came to power in d worst economic recession in our history but thru sheer ingenuity, turned d economy around & made d nation buoyant again. GEJ however, inherited a nation in times of relative peace & plenty but turned it to one of more divisiveness & a veritable factory 4 producing more tribal & religious bigots like u & a nightmare 4 d poor.

U need to calm down on d rumours & focus on d facts as we know it. All other allegations against Tinubu ar baseless & unproven unlike Bode George, d leader & godfather of PDP in lagos state who is an ex-convict dat was jailed for corruption.
When d history of lagos state & indeed nigeria is written, Tinubu's name will be written in gold. He transformed d city of lagos thru visionary leadership inspite of spirited attempts by OBJ's govt to cripple his administration. He put in place a succession process which threw up d indefatigable governor of lagos state, Raji Fashola. Even his detractors know dat states associated wit d Asiwaju perform better than their peers. How is it d fault of d Asiwaju or d yoruba dat d shortsightedness of most Igbo could not allow them to rise above bigotry?. When d history of nigeria is written, Tinubu's name will be written in gold for he is a national hero & patriot. Tinubu is instrumental to d deepening of democracy in nigeria by scuttling d ambition of d dysfunctional PDP to turn Nigeria into a one-party hegemony.
Realizing dat GEJ has failed nigeria monumentally, entreaties were made to all political parties to join hands in a grand alliance to form a major opposition to d PDP & save nigeria frm d evil grip of corruption. Unfortunately there was a problem - while other tribes will in d national interest withdraw their support frm even theirs if cited for corruption, wrongdoing or incompetence, ndigbo will rather support even barefaced crimininalty as far as it is perpetrated by an igbo or as in dis case an Azikiwe whom they see as theirs.
