It won't be long frm now when nigerians will say good riddance to d weakest, most divisive, corrupt, effeminate & clueless leader in nigerian history.
Why did it take a 6-week postponement of d polls & an impending massive loss 4 d ruling party at d polls to make d service chiefs wake up & giv d Boko Boys a real fight?. Now d gloves ar off & all guns ar blazing because d PDP which has been living a lie wit d boko haram insurgency is at risk of losing d elections. But of course in d evil thinking of d PDP, all they needed to do in a country wit so many bigots & wit little or no achievement to point to, was to fight d terrorists wit kid gloves & blame d opposition as sponsors & they get d votes. Sai Goodluck!
Your version of the stories are too recent to be true! Lol you've been bought! You grooved big time because alot of business were lost due to price control forced on them. Yes Buhari's regime was hell on earth for the common man but you have a new history based on pure lies to wash this dictator clean weldone. Please check you-tube for this documentary released in 2002 titled 'the Nigerian story' to have the stories of each of our leaders from amalgamation till Obj...I once believed the APC version till I saw the documentary myself! grin
Swiftboy, throughout history d way of truth has always won. Decades after & despite d most vicious media attacks most nigerians ar not swayed by revisionists who ar trying to rewrite our history because we know d history & d truth. There's no version to truth & facts will not cease to be facts.

He made it worst you want to say. Answer the following questions:
1. Did Buhari councel Lagos Metro railway project?
2. Did Buhari counceled Ajaokuta steel project?
3. Did Buhari forced nationalism, insisting on Nigerians running all the companies in country?
4. Did Buhari not send soldiers to town in the name of WAI?
5. Did Buhari ban press from discharging their duties in full?
6. Alot of Civil servants were sacked due to austerity measures. Answers to the above questions are yes! Here is what it cursed...
1. In the name of fighting Corruption,Lagos lost both the project and the money invested...
2. Ajaokuta steel would have generated enough money to pay back any investment put on it 100 times over by now.
3. Alot of companies folded up due to mismanagements, leaving millions of Nigerians jobless. British airways is an example. Infact, the shares that were sold did not reach the poor people.
4. People were flogged on the street to instill discipline which I dont have problem with, but alot of Nigerians suffered from these soldiers who oppressed people at will.
5. Press were detained for speaking the truth about the mal-administration of Buhari
6. Nigeria became broke after Buhari paid all of the country's debts and defending naira,to cut recurrent expenditure Nigerians got retrenched.
My brother these are facts about your candidate,Buhari was a dictator...he failed completely,in a sane clime he's not even suppose to be contesting to be a civilian president after all he's done to this country. Well, they've branded him for you as agent of change. Well done to Tinubu and the imported campaign consultant from USA.
PROPAGANDA OF APC.
1. They've brainwashed alot of you not to realized that Goodluck has tried enough to warrant your vote for stability and continuity.
2. They've been able to convince you that Nigeria is going down completely rather than see the effort of GEJ to cushion the effect of the reality of the financial crises.
3. They've been able to rub corruption on GEJ even if he's not the one involved.
4. They've bombarded your mind with their ideals of what a C-in-C suppose to do like leading the frontline against terrorists.
Infact you'll not believe facts because you've been made to believe even though you did not think for yourself before you believe what you believe. Meaning you have been brainwashed or brainbleached!lol grin
1) Going on wit d metroline would hav meant additional debt to an already unprecedented debt burden on our nation. When Buhari came to power, d western lenders & IMF knew dat d country had been severely weakened by d debt situation created by d corruption & profligacy of d thieving politicians whom Buhari eased out of power. They therefore saw an opportunity to hold our country to ransom & foist on our hapless & severely weakened nation d neo-liberal economic policies of d IMF wit its several slavish conditionalities including d devaluation of d naira. GMB called their bluff. He rejected d IMF loan & refused to devalue d naira.
2) Ajaokuta under minister of steel, Mamman Ali Makele was a veritable tool of corruption by d NPN. Unfortunately, it was never cancelled by ANY nigerian govt.
3) PZ, UAC, Kingsway, Chanrais & many multinationals folded up under Shagari & not GMB. They folded up not because of d indegenization policy but because d nation was bankrupt.
4) d NPN crooks hoarded food & essential commodities in private warehouses while d masses suffered due to lack of dis commodities. d warehouses of dis crooks were thrown open & nigerians were given a relief.
5) d Buhari/Idiagbon regime was a corrective govt. Unfortunately crooked politicians tried to test its resolve to sanitize d nation by sponsoring treason thru some unscrupulous brown-envelop-collecting individuals.
6) Buhari paid off SOME debts incurred by d thieving politicians while d rest was paid off not too long ago. Unlike under Shagari when for d 1st time in nigerian history, d fed govt couldn't pay staff salaries, GMB paid salaries of workers & never sacked civil servants.
If Shagari's kleptocracy is what democracy is about, may nigeria never know democracy. GMB rescued d nation frm a recession worse than what Greece experienced recently. His economic team under d then min of finance, Dr Onaolapo Soleye rejected d IMF loan & its slavish conditionalities & devised an ingenuous system of barter 4 oil. This was highly successful & it stabilized d economy. d inflationary rate was kept at between 3-5% & d exchange rate at $1 to 1 naira.
To d informed, d decision in dis election is easy & pretty much settled. SAI BUHARI

Hahahaha it's easy to know those dat get their info frm Okupe Okugbe's Twitter handle. Nigerians jubilated wildly when Buhari came to power not when he was overthrown.
Of course d General wants to be judged & is being judged in dis election based on his performance while in public office. dis election is a referendum on d performance of d two leading candidates while they held public office. While GMB inherited a nation at d brink of total collapse in d worst economic recession in our history but thru sheer ingenuity turned d economy around, GEJ inherited a nation in times of relative peace & plenty but turned it to one of more divisiveness & a veritable factory 4 producing more tribal & religious bigots & a nightmare 4 d poor. History will be kind to d General 4 stepping up when nigeria needed a leader & rescuing d nation frm d NPN kleptocracy.

Look at this fool throwing cheap words about - "clueless", "educate yourself", blah blah blah. You should locate a mirror and chant these words at whatever image you see there because they define you.

So because Jerry Rawlings executed former government officials in Ghana under the guise of fighting corruption, that makes it right to resort to arbitrary and capricious dispensation of justice - based on the whims of one power drunk man? You must be really really stoooopid. Using an instance of barbarism and illegality (in Ghana) as precedence/justification for Buhari's despotism just shows how demented you are. Do you know what the Rule of Law means? Do you know what Fair Hearing means? So if, in your self-righteous and power-drunk stupor, you suspect that certain people are thieves, you simply order their arrest, imprisonment, and execution - all by yourself. Clap for yourself! And don't bother to quote me again, because I would not deign you another reply. I don't suffer fools gladly.

Anti-corruption tribunals whose verdicts were entirely handed down by the despotic, all-powerful dictator called Buhari - who was both the accuser and the judge. Is that justice? Which properly constituted and constitutional court of law found these people guilty of the malpractices you so freely allege here?

Look, you people have to decide whether you want a civilised society based on the Rule of Law (which encompasses the right to fair hearing and lawful judicial processes) or you prefer a return to the dark days of despotism and suppression of human rights by crazed, power-drunk tyrants like Buhari and Abacha. .
Ur trivialization of d issue shows u know little or nothing about what obtained in or d kind of trouble nigeria was in, in those heady days. U ar simply clueless. U hav no idea.

Pls educate urself about d happenings in Nigeria during d 2nd republic & u will know why decades after & inspite of some of d most vicious media attacks, knowledgeable people still highly revere d General & yearn 4 his return. d nation owes him tons of gratitude 4 stepping up & answering d call of d nation when it needed a leader. common, GMB then was an head of state. Like seriously, he had diplomatic limitations as a military leader. Even though he is an ardent muslim, he still cant operate freely across borders witout due consultation. the one time he tried, he got overthrown.

As for OBJ, maybe he didnt find the need to. Tho he was a democratically elected president so to speak, he still behaved in an autocratic manner. he could just decide not to represent which he is entitled to.

For Joe, He chose to go cos he feels he needs to be represent. Dont forget, he was to give a speech neway. As christian personally, dont you think it ould raise eyebrow to his muslim counterparts. moreso, he was invited from his speech to give the address. Its just pure diplomacy.

Buhari too is now trying to find place in the christian community. Should he be the one at the helm of affairs, he will still need to perform his diplomatic role in the international community. so we need to see this positively beids, ThE president is the president of nigeria, Christians, muslims or even pagans.

lets not be biased about this...
GMB had absolutely no limitatiions because he was a military leader. d most vibrant nigerian foreign policy regime was under a military govt - Murtala Mohammed govt. GMB's govt which was a corrective military govt had far more respect internationally than dis utterly discredited & corrupt govt will ever hav.
Since Nigeria was dragged into d OIC, it has always been a very sensitive matter. One of d things u look for in a president is his judgement. My greatest quarrel wit GEJ has to do wit his judgement, especially on sensitive national issues which in my opinion leaves much to be desired. He seems to lack d needed wisdom, tact, prudent & sound faculty to lead a country as intricate & complex as nigeria. OBJ & Yaradua never went 4 dis meetings. GMB was pressured to drag nigeria into joining d OIC but he refused. GMB, OBJ & Yaradua showed good judgement. Unfortunately, GEJ has d unenviable record of being d one to hav attended d OIC meetings. Is he clueless or what?.
