LARRYDKING:
That's the plan of most freshmen, the system would later separate the boys from the men.

True

This is an insult....... ....How'd he utter such rubbish ............Just because someone speaks good English doesn't make him more intelligent than someone who can't........A person's Intelligence quotient can't be measured based on how good his/her English is......

iykekelvins:
Is that so

yeah.....he stayed in the flat below mine......He's just an hypocrite..... I don't wanna say too much, before all this bloggers will screen grab this my post and end up writing on it

and I actually know him o...... He was my neighbour,..He left Nigeria a few years back... .....To me, he should have just ignored the person

you all yabbing LUTH should read well.... they said behind LUTh and not inside LUTH's premises ........something has to be done about this

paul4sure:
pls guys for all those that have successfully done their biometric capture have anyone been able to pay school fee?

you're not meant to pay your School fees yet, until after you've been successfully screened ..... Don't make that mistake..... why the rush.... it's not that there's a deadline

nacozee:
Crap uni, sharing first class like chinchin!

How are they sharing first class like chin chin... out of 5598, only 117 graduated with a first class.... that's just 2.09%

IRobot7:
Make all those first class go FUTO, make we know whether them no go reduce to 37.

mtchewww......So because it's hard to graduate with a first class in FUTO doesn't make it better than UI

It had better not go beyond this 1week strike..... I wonder if FG will listen to their demands , in this recession

eleojo23:
So what happened to Nairaland this morning?
I was unable to log in for a while making it difficult to comment on a thread. It kept saying 'forum is in read-only mode'

I thought my account was banned sef

Is it a routine maintenance?

I just hope it's not another tsunami from cyber terrorists.

yeah, I experienced that too.... was wondering why

Jeez ....Does he wanna amputate their hands

Hybrid01:
I understand what you are saying sir. Thanks

Uwc

Hybrid01:
Thanks. I have not really been interested in pharmacy though. I just love Chemistry as a course and the course outlines I saw on the university's website made me happy as they seem like things we relate to everyday.

Please, If you really love Chemistry go for it......I only told you what I thought of it o...... Don't let me discourage you...... Besides, who knows... you may make a difference in the future

moshark06:
you start it in the first place.you said "it is not even advisable to study chemistry in Nigeria".are you trying to say there are no successful chemistry graduate?.chemistry physics mathematics are the backbone of sciences having a degree in these courses open more ways for opportunity in divers field.that is why a science student is required to pass these subject @ o' level

So giving my opinion is a crime........ I only told him what I thought.... I'm not saying we don't have successful Chemists in Nigeria..... but there are a few of them.......And I said its not advisable, so he won't end up using the degree to work in another field ( eg Marketing, Banking)......... Chemistry is his passion and I asked him to pick pharmacy which is related to Chemistry.........Its now his choice for him to accept the advice or not

moshark06:
do not let anyone to deceive you, chemistry/industrial chemistry is a lucrative course to study if that is your passionate course go for it and leave the rest to God. chemistry is even more open to more career option than med lab.you can make research on it.pharmacy is a great course you can go for it if you have interest in it. don't be mislead

Please, do u have to make a comparison with the course I'm studying just because I mentioned it above to prove your point ...Did I ask him to choose MLS..... He asked for an advise, And I said my opinion......

Holuwarphantom:
can i use awaiting result for jupeb?

No

Hybrid01:
Thanks. Please what course are you/did you study in the university

Uwc....Im studying Medical Laboratory Sciences

it's not even advisable to study Chemistry in Nigeria .......If you really like Chemistry just study pharmacy which is a professional course

Driiimzzz:
So, what is this screening for?

Its for those admitted on UTME merit list

Bjkhaleed:
please house. who's from ekiti that has done is state certificate from the liaison office.

2nd.. Can one register into the jamb site with opera mini or phone browser?

For the 2nd question.. The phone browser or Google Chrome browser will be better

aj4emmanuel:
i think there is slight change in d screening procedure.
stage1: data capture
stage2: uploading of documents
stage3: submission of document
stage4: payment of fees
stage5: departments and faculties registration
stage6: final enrolment

This is how it has always been done, not paying school fees before screening ..... though data capture was in the last stage in previous years

Abcruz:
I knew no lecturer,
i knew no professor,
i was not an indigen,
i did not score the highest of scores,

But i was admitted into my preffered course.

Millex, dearpiriye, donpre, and all other medical aspirants in the house, do not give up. Thesame God who did it for me, neither sleeps, nor slumbers. Your miracle is loading, and your testimony is on the way.

dearpiriye is no longer an aspirant.... she's in 200level UI........congrats though

I can't say which is better.... but I'll advice you to pick JUPEB, since I passed through it.... and it's accepted by most Federal, state and Private universities in Nigeria, mostly in the South

Driiimzzz:
I'm pretty sure the merit list is already out

its not out...... it's usually released with the UTME supplementary list

rawdpiper:
The PhotoCopies Of The Underlisted Documents We Are Told To To Bring, Should It Be In Black And White Or Coloured?

Driiimzzz:
Can someone please confirm if the Unilag supplementary list for Direct Entry applicants is released?

Conflicting rumours online...

its the foundation 2nd supplementary list.... besides, why would they release DE supplementary list when the merit list isn't even out yet

I looked at it initially, I didn't notice... I had to look again

screening process for freshers....

http://unilag.edu.ng/newsdetails.php?NewsID=2811

It seems something has changed about the screening...... " Students have to pay a fee before the screening ".....which was never done in the previous years
