The method you used to convert it isnt want will be used by the school....... for eg being on a 4.0 cgpa on a 5.0scale is equal to getting B's in all your courses.... but with this method getting B's in all courses is equal to 3.0 on the 4.0 scale...... what if he had a mixture of diff grades in his courses to get that 4.0( maybe some A's, B's, C's, E's, etc)..... on a 5.0 scale, E is 1point but on 4.0, it's 0.....so for all the E's he might have gotten, he had no points for them, so this brought down the cgpa from a 3.0 to a 2.93cgpa............

I just hope you understand what I wrote above

does that mean all Universities must adhere to this from this year onwards.......and does it affect those already in 100level to final year or just those recently admitted....i'm confused here

yes, its possible.......supplementary list is mostly for those that didn't meet the cutoff but had something close to it....

there's hope that you'll be admitted but not for Medicine and Surgery ( cos a lot of students must have gotten above 72 but scored below 79 and some of them are even from a catchment or ELDS).....Not doing COC reduces your chances of being admitted though( if they're gonna consider you for Medicine and surgery, they will, whether you did COC or not)

There's nothing like first and 2nd list in UNILAG, we only have merit and supplementary list .....the supplementary list will be released before the end of this month

School activities is still going on and UNILAG students never protested but NANS did comprising of undergraduates from LASU, FCET & TACOED...
Well, they are all got tired protesting outside the school gate and left.. Lecture is still on!

who would even dare protest, after signing Undertaken and Indemnity forms..... they should just allow us write our exams Jare...... most schools have already resumed a new session

I don't think the school authority will have the time to calculate the age a person started secondary school.......all they'll check is your date of birth on your birth certificate/ sworn declaration of age in the day of the screening.......... just leave it like that....... I did my screening last year , and they didn't pay attention to the date on the testimonial, they just skemped through the documents, made sure I passed the required subjects in my O'level, checked my DOB on my birth certificate, etc.....
