I agree that some people in Naija sponsore people abroad. I also don't like calling people beggar but bros you need to live out here to see the real nature of Nigerians back home. It is simple:
Have two or more accounts: Don't have an ATM card or internet banking on the account containing your major funds. While you can have ATM cards and internet banking on the others having marginal funds.
When you need to do big transactions from your major account, go physically to the banking hall, the cashiers will want to bully you into having ATM card and internet banking, insist you don't have a smart phone. They will do your transactions over the counter.
If they are obstinate, request to close the account and move your funds to another bank.
Never let them force or cajole you into doing internet banking and ATM card on your major account.
