It would interest you to know that the current chancellor of Bauchi state university is the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti.
Likewise all the northern federal universities have chancellors from the south. Heck, the largest northern university, ABU, has an Igbo Chancellor.

Infact, list any government hospital offering training, and a doctor 3yrs post graduation will have at least 10 friends in that centre.
