Young Man In Search Of Lady Who Returned N1million He Mistakenly Sent To Her Bank Account



A Facebook user identified as Otuto Ekekwe, has taken to the social media platform to announce the search for a woman who did him a favour, adding that he would like to show his gratitude to her after she returned a sum of one million naira (N1million) back to him.
According to Ekekwe, the lady he identified as Abikoye Oluwatobiloba, had returned a sum of one million naira back to him after he mistakenly transferred it into her account. He revealed that the incident had occured on Saturday, September 8.
It was gathered that the man who couldn’t go to the bank to make complains, had called the bank about the mistake, and he was told to report the incident on Monday, September 11. However, the lady had gone to the bank to get his account number to refund the man’s money back to him.

NDLEA arrests Lebanese chef for running a drug ring in Victoria Island, Lagos



The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) yesterday arrested a Lebanese Chef, Charbel Chalouhi, for allegedly using and dealing in drugs at his residence on number 18, Wahab Ogunbambo Street, off Simeon Akinlonu Crescent, Victoria Island.
According to The Nation, Chalouhi was arrested following an intelligence report that he was involved in hard drugs. He was trailed by NDLEA officers at the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company (NAHCO) Lagos Command, Ikeja.
Thereafter, he was taken to his home where 1kg of cocaine from recovered.
“I was just walking on the street and I saw the NDLEA officials when they came in. I saw the event. When they came, they invaded his house, not even his house alone, they went to other houses too. But when they got to know that he was the one, they checked him and they took him away. He joined the NDLEA officials in their car.” a resident of the area where the suspect lives said
Speaking further, the resident said “People in this area have been very careful about complaining to law enforcement agencies about the activities of drug dealers, because such people can be very dangerous. If they get to know that you reported them, you could be harmed. People are living in fear, so the NDLEA should save us, save Nigerian youths.”
Another witness said some Lebanese in the country were putting pressure on the NDLEA to free Chalouhi.
“Since his arrest, different Lebanese and top politicians have been calling the Lagos State Area Command and pressurising the investigating officer to drop the case. Most importantly, for the security of our Nigerian youths and the prevention of the drug trading Lebanese cartel on the streets of Lekki, Victoria Island and Ikoyi, this case should be used to set an example to foreigners taking over our streets with hard drugs.” the eyewitness said
The NDLEA’s Airport Command spokesperson, Mr Ahmed Garba, said he was not aware of the incident, but NDLEA Lagos Area Commander Aliu Suleiman, confirmed Chalouhi’s arrest.

WhatsApp Admin And Members Arrested For Sharing Fake News In Kano




The Kano State Police Command has arrested an Administrator and members of a WhatsApp Group for circulating fake news and an image of a married woman whom they claimed was trafficking children in the city. The State’s police PRO, Magaji Musa Maaji, told PRNigeria that the suspects were arrested after the victim of the circulated image lodged a formal complaint to the Police Command.

Magaji said: “We received a complaint from a married woman and a civil servant, Bushirat Madaki, that her picture is being shared on WhatsApp group with the intent to malign and incite the public against her.
Upon receiving the complaint, the Commissioner of Police, Alhaji Rabiu Yusuf ordered an immediate investigation by a special team who were able to trace and arrest three married suspects, a man and two women, for circulating the fake and offensive information.
When confronted over the petition against them, the suspects admitted that the image and material on the woman were shared and forwarded in their group.
They also admitted that they didn’t know the woman in person and have never had interaction with her before distributing the image and the story.
The police command is also currently providing security cover for the innocent woman for fear of mob attacks because her image and the false report on her have gone viral.
We call on social media users to be wary of what they receive and share or forward on social media, especially WhatsApp. We should guard against the misuse of social media platforms by sharing and forwarding objectionable or fake messages.”

According to Dele Momodu, Publisher of Ovation magazine, Otedola “personally confirmed” the news to him, meaning he will run against Akinwunmi Ambode, the incumbent Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in 2019.
Femi Otedola, a businessman and Chairman of Forte Oil PLC, has “accepted” the offer of a governorship ticket by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Report said despite several appeals by the widower to the women, a civil servant and a petty trader {names withheld} to see themselves as partners not rivals in the double dating relationship, the housewives always clashed whenever they encountered each other at his residence.
“He threatened to dismiss any of them that caused quarrel. He even had to draw a roaster for their visits to ensure peace and forestall clash in the double-dating game,” our source said.
According to IGBERE TV both housewives had warned each other to steer clear of the “lover boy” widower, but none had heeded to such warnings as the relationships continued until the fateful day.
The widower, identified as Chiemeziem is said to be a commercial bus driver in the area.
We learnt that trouble ensued when one of the women broke the rules as she visited on the day meant for her rival.
“The trader was already with Emeziem when her civil servant rival showed up and as expected, heated argument started.
“The quarrel was so uncontrollable that he had to push both of them out of the house, locked the apartment and left with anger,” the source said.
Our source further revealed that attempts to broker peace between them by neighbours and sympathisers was unsuccessful as the brawl continued till they striped themselves Unclad.
Both women, who had produced children for him, had since been dismissed by the widower following the ugly incident, IGBERE TV reported.

Sultan Of Sokoto’s son in terrible car crash after ‘getting high on codeine’ (Photos)






Sultan Of Sokoto’s eldest son, Amir Abubakar, has been involved in a terrible accident, reportedly after getting high on codeine.
According to Sahara Reporters, Amir was driving at a very high speed around 12noon within Sokoto Airport Road, in an area called Bado when the crash occurred.
With him in the car when the accident occured were Khalifa Maccido, son of Aliyu Macciddo, and another girl.
Eyewitnesses at the scene of the crash claimed Amir had been drunk while driving, and that a bottle of Benelyn Codeine syrup was found in the car.
While Amir was being taken to the hospital, officials of the Sultanate Council were reportedly seen removing the Sultanate council plate number from the car so as not to expose the Sultanate Council.

SaharaReporters say they contacted Faruku Ladan Ddaji, Secretary of the Sultanate, but he said he couldn’t confirm the story as he was out of town.
Amir was taken to the Usman Danfodio Teaching Hospital, where he has been unconscious.
SaharaReporters adds that Amir, believed to have been dismissed from a UK school due to his drunkenness, was seen earlier on Sunday leaving a guest house with the girl and his friend Khalifa.

The estranged girlfriend is said to be final year student from same school, who hails from Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa state.
Prince was buried in his hometown, Kaiama local government area of Kwara state on the same day.

19-year-old girl and friend planned her kidnap to scam her father of N600k in Lagos



The Lagos State Police Command following a report by the suspect’s father at Ketu Police Station arrested her on July 13 together with one Ifeoluwa Ogunbanjo, her friend, who provided location and a phone to contact her parents.

Confirming the arrest in a statement, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police,Imohimi Edgal said:

Lady attacks man on a bus for refusing to give up his seat for her (video)



Chivalry is one thing but forcing people to do things for you is simply bullying. And that’s exactly what a very rude woman was filmed doing on a bus.
The woman, in yellow, is seen attacking a male passenger because he refused to give up his seat for her. In the video, the woman is seen as she drags the man from his seat, then when he refuses to let her have his seat, she then proceeds to sit on his lap.

His car was hit by a bus, it lost control and veered off the road, nearly falling into a ditch. The bus driver drove off immediately, not minding the damage he caused.
