I don't even have any grand hopes, just taking things one game at a time, because I have seen virtually every team in this tournament play and omo, we dey gba.

Proper Haram football, Mourinho would be proud.
😂😂😂😂 truly its big lows and big highs. No medium delivery of anything they are offering. Cape Verde will give us big problems, especially with that their sleek transition into boxes. 1 open play goal and from 1 attacker alone shows the other attackers are not offering any bite. Emenike has Ideye. It's time Osimhen gets his own telepathic Ideye if we want to win this.

If you study the pattern of this Afcon, leads don't last. That's where you gats commend our defenders o. Because explain how 2-0 turn 2-2 or 2-3 in barely 5-12 minutes of a game. The consistent theme of this Afcon.

The Thriller!!

Watching the highlights of all our matches and to be honest, we just need to get our finishing in order and we are good.

Osimhen missed a clear 1v1 against Eq G, missed another 1v1 against CIV and missed 2 clear headers against Guniea B.

He buries those chances and its:

2-1 win to Eq G
2-0 win to CIV
3-0 win over Guniea B

Our team is creating enough chances to win the game, we just need to be clinical. 1-0 is all you need to advance in the KO rounds and to win an AFCON.

Defense wins championships at the end of the day. But our attack needs to give us something to defend to begin with.
I hope they set this up fast. See the two headed chances Osimhen suppose bury. Those kind misses are painful when we are behind. Iheanacho back in lineup might just be our turnaround.

Cape Verde spirit is similar to the spirit of the golden generation of the 90s. Especially that Atlanta 96. Iffulike score them for dying minutes, they'll come for you with precise Never Say Never and equalize. I commend the quickness behind the Egyptian goal. Oooph.

So two ivorian goals were even disallowed? But which coach puts Pepe as 9😭🤣🤣🤣🤣

Na so dem wan use Salah PR wound us for the last AFCON. It was a Salah wankfest, and I know for sure they wanted Egypt to win that tournament to continue the hype.
That Salah own that year was something else. Do they want us to win too? That sounds cool too.🤣

Nsue is a legend in his country. Hv been with the team many years ago as a young star when he was still active with Mallorca in laliga

He is the best they hv and if they had the luxury of having 1-2 strikers doing decently well in top European leagues I doubt he will still be in the team till date
You've said it all.

Besides, noticing the PR CAF is pushing for VO? Male this guy no waste this free PR o. Lol.

Aina chance should have been buried. He remains the best crosser of the ball in this squad. That near pk, why didn't simon shoot instead of cutting out?

What is making this team look like they're on hibernating mode is the midfield combo and transition to attack. We were slow today.

And finally, it is time that the coach sets up another player to be following these long balls. I'm fed up of VO offside. All a mature team need do is set up that line well. Eq Guinea did it. The one he beat, he still no score. That is worrisome. What is Nsue doing that Osimhen is not doing right? Not satisfied.

We are still yet to shoot from distance despite that being the trademark of all the sweet goals in the group stage of this tournament. I was pissed with Iwobi's shot from that Simon pass.

He was asking the coach for a towel to clean the ball hence the delay. Wasn't exactly "exchanging words" and his intention wasn't to waste time.

Eq Guinea justify scoring us 1st in that 1st game. In a group with Civ and Nigeria, nobody expects they'll outscore everyone and top the group. This officiating is just somehow. Game changed when Iwobi came into the field. But sadly, all the chances were ruined by little details. Osimhen is frustrating at this point. Na Heaven save us. We for draw. Smh. Unimpressive game. Hilarious another game is going to be played tonight on this same pitch.😂😂

Simon Moses does his 1st ever fast decision making and it leads to a goal. Look up and cross. No extra touches.

Iwobi is not in the line up and we see the nonsense that Onyeka is playing already. His tackles are disconnected and he's fallen 3ice again, leaving the defense open. Aribo should getat abeg. He's best as a player to be subbed on. He's gone. This is GB and why are they playing like GB is Senegal or Cape Verde?

The Osayi Chance . Smh. I think it is time to switch Aina back to the right side abeg. These guys can't even form traingles to ease passing for themselves as they advance 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

EG scored 4goals vs this team that we are allowing to shot at us. Haba.

Has he proven he can play attacking midfielder? Answer is NO!
What exactly are you on about? Someone was still creating chances that Osimhen was wasting from way way deep and you're still asking this question? Lol. Remove him from this team and let us see who will be the 1st to swear for Peseiro. He is an important figure in that midfield but is not playing closer to attack as expected. And none can play it in this current set up.

Let Osayi and Iheanacho start. But let Iwobi be allowed to play his attacking role too. The absence of Ndidi has really reduced his advancing up front. Haba. Iwobi of all should not be inhibited this way now.
