Oshoala couldn't not stop the ball with that speed. She either paused it and fall or hit it with the speed. She try. Was expecting someone else to be running behind her do she can give the pass. None! I hate the thought of that moment.

huh huh.. O Randy...
Let's see if she's that pivotal to the lineup. Cos it looks like she is a key part of the plan already. I'm imagining either of the two Esthers in the middle. Oh my. Onyene ozil eyes.

This lineup is audacious 👀🤐
i think the idea is to let them gragra. Then own the 2nd half. If Desire comes on especially. We need to own that middle with possession.

Ucheibe and Plumptre have a sweet understanding. We should be a goal ahead.
We've improved with the corner kicks, far above the wafcon level. I think Abiodun is playing the DM role and Christy is cm. But she's getting overwhelmed now.

The Canadians have this telepathic passes. They give without the need to look plus swiftly utility of spaces. We are however matching the energy.

I feel its a total waste seeing Nnadozie budey out instead of play from the back. It's annoying cos it is not even long enough to cross the centre circle. None were useful. Can they just adapt to the modern demand pls?

What tha heck is Randy wearing with that inscription

Super Falcons football 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

We need to utilize the possession we are seeing. They are better passers but weaker defence. I'm sure Oparanozie will do justice if available.

So far, I'm pleased with Ashleigh going forward.

Lol. Cos of yesternight, you dey underrate Tomi? Same Tomi that Arteta loves to play in a tactical setup that eases Partey's role? Abi you have forgotten so soon? Yasu will start on UCL night, this one sure.

The only mountain standing in the way of the SE qualifying this time will be the NFF, that loudmouthed spokesman, and maybe, just maybe, a terrible, archaic coach.

Anything else, the way the draws table was set, that's how it will end. Benin may pull a surprise on SA anyway. Chukw better use this opportunity to score goals and rediscover his shine in GWG.

Does the SuperFalcons have the Speed, Determination and Fighting spirit just like the Zambians forwards upfront??

Who and who are our Speedsters upfront that can give us the Banda and Kundananji vibes upfront..??
I hope they include shooting practices for them? Their shooting accuracy is one of the wackiest I've seen in many years by falcons players. Esp Ajibade.

Using all their strategies before the competition proper isn't what one can call a wise move as their opponents will now know which of them (Zambians) to mark out of play when they eventually meet on the field of play ! Let me not use friendly game to judge performance. The main competition performance is where we will see the difference in all teams....

Its going to be a different ball game against Spain, Japan who are very good in keeping possession.
I wish them best of luck, though!
That one dey sha. But this is a big upset considering the Germans fielded their top players. When last did a caf rep beat a superpower in friendly or competition? That is why it's not just chance but determination. That's a sign of preparation. I believe Banda can survive such anyway. That 12mins added was like they wanted Germany to win. Their coach deserves accolades despite their obvious weakness of bunching many times.

Hmmm 🧐
This Germany is not Germinnnnnnngggg at all.
i just watched highlights. Omo. Looks like Zambia are the only african rep that have done all protocols deserving of a competition of huge calibre in a few weeks time, off and on pitch. They still have some glitches but they can hold their own. Morroco no sabi. SF may play for themselves with all these brouhaha. If they see it as their careers, the better.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 7:33pm On Jul 07, 2023
I doubt the boycott stories anyway. Nff may feel bad that they won't get hands on the fifa largesse so they may decide to play another card.

This is the women's side. If this repeats with the SE, then it's high time some gets rid of all of them even if Fifa bans. Cos this is highly embarrassing.

I'll still be following. But for now, Nff are the villians making randy look like some st revered in some prayers.
SportsRe: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by daveP(m): 11:56pm On Jun 29, 2023
Nff eh.

Normally, we already don't like Randy. But Nff are so greedy and daft that they want to steal that shine from Randy again.

Overall, they act like they know what they're doing. The rule book is their puffed up ego support for now. Else they are just a bunch of arrogant fellows that doesn't even consider the main reason that we are here-The success and flourishing of the super falcons!!

After this World cup, they'll definitely take the shine from Randy if we have an abysmal outing. Infact they may go the dirty game route to feel vindicated.

That Oluehi situation shows they don't have the interest of the ladies atall.

This was the same situation the u17 and u20 girls faced.

It reeks of total disregard for adequate financial preparedness. The money dey!! E dey!!!

I am already worried about the future of our academy players and their ability to transition into the first team. This fear kept be checking on E. Nwaneri's contract situation and today, he signed his pro deal and committed to Arsenal. Nwaneri was courted heavily by Chelsea and City but I am glad he chose to continue with Arsenal. Nwaneri is pure talent with good prospects.

Almost all london clubs are chasing away academy boiz than transitioning them to senior team. I'm very worried about this. Patino alone dey pain me. AMN is painful even if I understand the circumstances. We about to let Folarin go. Where's Azeez? Same way Iwobi.

Lets be clear, White playing RB exposed us a lot and limited us offensively. Again, the reason White is benching Tomiyasu is because he plays better to Arteta's instruction and he is always available. This is why I have advocated for him to return to the CB role and compete for a place. Is he a good player? yes but don't hype him to be the 2nd coming of Lillian Thuram in his prime.
Many of us forget that no matter how bad you are as a player, once you play to detailed instructions under Pep, you'll get the nod over the better play. It's been there since Barca days. It's not new. I can list a dozen players under this table.

What makes it unnoticeable is the wins.

You've summed all i wanted saying. But I'll still write my angle about White in total. Especially body language during defending and attacking.

On Alima, the u20 coach is largely responsible. He didn't even dim fit to play her for a few minutes even when we had convincing wins.

On Gamero and others like her, the lack of structure and systems is responsible for them not even considering us. Funny thing is it's way easier to get female football players to switch then guys cause of the large supply of players and limited demand of spots, but when you don't have you acts together how do you want to convince them to be a part of a dysfunctional system?
Coach truly no try. He gave the impression that she was that bad. To do basic stuff for this our football sef dey taya person. If she played and was interviewed, that alone could muster other girls with duality across the world to want to rep. Mtchew.

How far about Rinsola? Nothing about her?

Tempo and Desire in the same sentence is an oxymoron sha. Desire has a lot of qualities but speed isn't one of them. She if course can hold up play and maybe score goals, but if we are playing high press, fast tempo games she's sure not the one to consider.

Again, I'll take Desire of yesteryears but from the stats available (averaging 5 goals for a whole season the last 6 years), it isn't out if place to play her from the bench. My opinion is open to change if my some miracle we get some test games before the competition and she dassels us.
When i say tempo, i meant the skillset to make our attack be dangerous or worthwhile. This wafcon last year, we all saw how unhinged our attack momentum was, especially in buildup. Sometimes we build up well but one was almost instantly disappointed cos the attack would be useless with either a tame shot or one selfish player that refuse to pass to a more better positioned teammate.

Example is just how that cameroon game went before that okobi-Onumonu combo. Normally, that pass to Rash would have been wasted, even by Rash standards before she lost form. But she was just there at the right time and with ball sense.

If Desire is back in side the box, it will be hard to make our attack fizzle out easily compared to when she was not there. Her hold up can help the team around that box area.

There's a reason I've been complaining about the extremely poor shots conversion rate of this team. I wish opta did something about it from 2019 to now. I always want shooting practices. Desire will change that too. Esther as well.

That loss/absence of tempo around final third, she's the perfect solution to it. Any coach that can't see that na fufu.

Desire Oparanozie looks certain to be a Back Up in the no.9 position… Maybe when one of the forwards from the flank goes off or Oshoala come off or move to the Flank then Oparanozie can come in..

Again Randy Waldrum will likely field Iffy maybe from the Bench..
Those two red cards will mean He can't really use his intended preferred XI.

Personnel dey ground. Na coach choices dey fear me pass for this WWC. Especially as that Mama no go follow am this time. Onyi would be a great sub imo. But Desire must start.

I think their most potent attacking style is aerial. I counted almost a dozen cross and nod from the highlight alone. They didn't really threatening on ground.

They attack us like that, Nnadozie to Imuran to start counter. Imuran to Any of Echegini or Oshoala.... O pari!

This is another WC and i am afraid some of those player with wack shooting ability/accuracy will do same 4yrs after once more. We will see sweet shooting chance and na one useless shot go come out. Smh. I hooe that will be different this time.
