Jobs/Vacancies › Re: 5 Types Of Applicants You Meet In A Room Waiting To Be Interviewed by daveP(m): 1:35pm On Nov 26, 2014
Abduletudaye:
Morning guys. Right now am in Lekki and awaiting to be interview by the CEO of this coy. While waiting for several minutes to be intervied, I actually took time to study the applicants around me hence this topic. I hope this correlates but here are my findings..

1. The Two Jolly Friends: Alright, here's a typical example of me and my friend. We went together for this interview and since we knew each other outside this room, we kept on gisting about how the job is gonna be, how ugly this girl was and so on.

2. The Mute One: I'm sure most people would agree with me when I say that there must be this one person who refuses to utter a single word while waiting to be called for an interview. He/She keeps quiet unless, they are called upon or asked a question.

3. The Noise Makers: These ones are found always. They will make noise no matter the situation. Talking about stuff that's important and the ones which are not important. Funny enough, the noise makers actually end up being the cute ladies and guys. Don't really know why. But presently, that is what I have noticed.

4. The Over Sabi: Yes! This ones eh.. Ok sha. This type of applicants will just be asking questions like Soyinka. The very minute they flop, they will just wanna enter the ground. I have seen typical examples this morning. After a staff gave us (applicants) a salient briefing, someone still rose his/her hand to ask a question which already had an answer in the staffs briefing.

5. The Enigma: Hehehehe... I'm not being biased ooo but this particular one here refers to me. You see, I prefer doing 20% of everything cheesy. When its time to talk, I talk. When its time to STFU, I do exactly that and when its time to flirt grin , I do that aswelll.

So this are the 5 types of applicants you find in a waiting room to be interviewed..

Wish me luck oo..

Have a nice day..
6) The Heavy-Headed types: these ones eventually obey a law of mechanism. For some reasons best left to them, their pivotal neck suddenly feels so weak to lift the head on it. And because 'output' is not equal to 'input', the head shakes and tilts grin this way and that regulary till it takes a back fall which re-awakens the sleepster.

Mind you, the Over Sabi group would analyze his/her heavy head by then. Its a sort of amusement to them grin

naijaboiy:
grin
Nosey you grin

Yes i'm really proud of her cos she really tried for me during the contest. She was really instrumental to my victory in no small way and she had her own share of the tongue lashing,,despite her not really having any business with it. But she held strong. That's what really makes me proud of her smiley

Well she is an NLer but i'd like her person to be anonymous for this interview,,even though it's obvious to so many people wink

"100 divided by 100 is zero!"

The interviewer kept silent for 6seconds before actually correcting him that its actually one, and thus his point was invalid.

Romance › Re: reasons i don't lay my hands on my boyfriend/husband by daveP(m): 11:43am On Nov 26, 2014
I had some observation some yrs back with one theory that reigned be4 it subsided. It may still be happening but its a lady that 'Propounded' it--

"A lady has every right to slap a man, but a man MUST never attempt slapping a lady. Or else he isnt a man"

luckily i changed her mentality in time, but her friend no go gree. To dey slap just dey sweet her. She enter univ. She slapped and then: Gbam!

Her response when asked after been beaten on why to slap comes easy " I dont know. It just comes and i cant control it"

Family › Re: Maid Who Savagely Beat Ugandan Toddler To Face Attempted Murder Charge by daveP(m): 12:16am On Nov 25, 2014
Yeah, i agree she get demon, and she deserves flogging/beatings for doing that to that child, or maybe 10mins with one nairalander to carry out proper attitude adjustment.

BUT We've forgotten that this "i must get a maid syndrome has eaten into the family system.

Probably time spent with that baby reduced from say 15-16hrs to less cos of work, engagements etc. And thus maid-ism creeps in. Some dont believe they can survive without househelp and its sickening when you sit besides them and hear them call Iya Sikiru in the village to send over one lil girl or a lady or a boy, etc...... and here we are!!

It would have continued if that Cctv wasnt there. Even the parents had already trusted the maid within 20days that it took time b4 they could ascertain it was her(something called "trust on the bringer's word" i.e the one who brings d help is trusted so much and that trust is transferred to the maid. One cant even believe the maid can hurt a fly)

I hope the trend changes fast.

(in Koffi Kingston's accent) stay safe, dont try this@ home or @ school. Spend quality time with una pikin. That baby now fears even "friends of the parents" (a nervous coordination that may continue for sometime)which shouldnt be so........

Christianity Etc › Re: What Did You Learn From Today's Message? by daveP(m): 9:26pm On Nov 23, 2014
Okay lemme put it in this way:

(adjust worn out bowtie)Gustavo pls feel free to preach

(Gustavo climbs stage with Dakes Bible)

1st Samuel 13 vs 1-21

Amnon had "desperate love" for his sister Tamar.

Fastforward to verse 15

"And Amnon HATED her with exceeding hatred, for the hatred with which he hated her was greater than the "LOVE" with which he loved her.

(audience seem to be feeling Gustavo's sermon, some shout from behind "Preach on Gustavo" )

fastfoward to verse 20

"And Tamar remained desolate in her brother's house"

hmm! Whose fault?

Bottomline: desperate love= desolation=chaotic reaction(Absalom divided The Land of Israel becos of Tamar alone) that obey Newton's third law of Motion(for every action there is an "EQUAL but OPPOSITE reaction)

(fuel finishes in gen and gen makes hiccuping sound and eventually off. Gustavo leaves podium as audience gives resounding applause.)
