chidike: I just resigned there...pay is 79k with a staff line and 10k monthly airtime plus 1 gig monthly data. Customer service is very difficult though.

U just resign whr Airtel or CCSNL...one thing u didn't tell us is if u got ur job thru CCSNL, cos I know dey won't pay u dat.

Pls what position did u apply for for?...A friend of mine who recently did her test, on trying to complete her application, there was no area to upload cv. Just d questionaire, personal info and summary. she applied for Financial market. Is dis d same wt every other person or the job application is coming to a close.

Well am not arguing with u, but did u find out d pay?..I worked wt them for about 8mnths, and unless dey r nt d ones paying ur salary, I bet u'll b frustrated wt their mode of operation.

Guys I wudn't say forget dis job cos it might benefit some of u...but truth is d pay is 40k, mode of operation is poor, dey r not recruiting u to work with Airtel, but rather to work with ccsnl. but d job itself is telemarketing or otherwise for Airtel. I bet u'll be frustrated after 2months. Dats all I have to say.

Dis is just one of those things dat happens when things r nt done d proper way. The sacked staff r not seeking their job, they only want wats rightfully theirs b given to them. It doesn't mean, MBL might not call us again *Akuna-matata* If d GMD is able to defend d bank's decision to sack rather than place dis ppl on retirement/Resignation, then there's no reason to worry, otherwise let's pray for d GMD o.

I then went back to my account online and edited submission and my submission status is now reading 'your application' instead of 'application under review'. Pls house, what sud I do? Also will they be able to recognize that my application is under review irrespective of the fact that it reads 'your application'.? Thanks

Dats not an issue, even though ur application is under review, u can still edit ur info, d only thing I won't advise u to do is to click on withdraw, dat automatically cancels ur application. My application is also under review n my status reads Ur Application. So no cos for alarm. Wat did u apply for.

When u login, on ur platform, u'll see a notification smtn like "1 application submitted", then ur application status will read "Completed" U can check to confirm.

U shud try login to be sure status says application completed. Cos ur suppose to get feedback from SCB a day after atlst. Just to be sure the problem or delay isn't from ur end.

Had similar challenge uploading d result, wat I did was to exit d page, came bck d nxt day to use d same system, at d tym I tried to access d test page it requested for a reset which I clicked.
Then I had to do d numerical again after which it uploaded. I guess d network was stable at d tym.

U shud contact them as required.

emiye: You are right, as long as no one knows his/her score and the cut-off score, you can not be sure you passed the test.
Having a first class is not a guarantee that you will meet the required cut-off score.

Nevertheless, after going though your application info, SCB might still reject applications based on other reasons known to them, even when the candidate meets the required cut-off score

Ur on point, I personally believe the info provided during cv upload kud be the reason some people were rejected. I hvnt done dat stage though so cant really tell wat is required.

a friend of mine with first class forward this mail to me after he uploaded his cv and submit his application 2 days later.

if you carefully analyse that message you will discover that his application was pend on the ground understand only by SC recruitment team. not because he fail the test and not because he has 2;2

What gives u the impression ur friend passed d test, when u cannot actually confirm d test score and d required cutoff score.
SC Recruitment Team cannot and will not deliberately pend any application, so long ur successful at different stages of the recruitment process, ur sure to be part of SC workforce in time.

Pls guys what's d age limit for dis job, a friend of mine wud like to apply and he's already 30.

For those who are yet to do the test:

Its in 2 parts Abstract and Numerical
Both consist of 8?s each with 4?s to 1?
ie 32?s each, = 64?z in all.

The abstract is timed 2mins for each ? Meaning 30secs per ? And as soon as d 2mins is complete weda u hv answered all d 4?s in d ? Or nt, d system automatically saves n moves to d next 4?s.

The numerical is 3mins for each 4?s ie 45secs for each ?.
D time pattern applies.

When ur done with d test it uploads, n wen u hv network issues u can exit wtout d upload. U can upload ur score wen d network is good, but u hv to use d same system cos ur score has bn saved on dat system.

It has been brought to the attention of the Nigeria Immigration Service that some unscrupulous Nigerians have continued to post advertorials on the internet calling for submission of applications for recruitment into various cadres in the Nigeria Immigration Service as well as demanding for some amount of money to be deposited into certain bank accounts for the recruitment.

The Comptroller-General of Immigration wishes to re-iterate that the NIS is presently not carrying out any recruitment exercise at any level. Therefore, the CGI calls on members of the public to be wary of the antics of these few fraudsters to avoid falling prey to them.

The CGI wishes to reassure Nigerians that whenever the Service will commence recruitment, the public will be duly informed in the manner prescribed by Federal Civil Service Rules and Regulations as well as other relevant statutes to ensure fairness, equity and that only qualified persons that meet our contemporary needs are recruited.

Its just along d road from yaba to Oyingbo. From Ojota get to Yaba, then take a bus going to oyingbo, drop at wesley b/stop.
