Media mogul, Dele Momodu has disclosed that Senate President Bukola Saraki will join the 2019 presidential race.

Momodu said this in a lengthy statement on his ‘Boss Newspaper’.


It read in part: “The Boss can exclusively reveal that Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki has joined the 2019 Presidential race.

“There is no doubt that he would be a formidable force that should not be ignored because only few politicians in Nigeria today have the pedigree, the experience, the clout and the connection of Senator Saraki.

“Impeccable sources reveal that as he plots his move for the Presidency, he is said to be considering building alliances with all Nigerians of like minds.

“He is also considering using the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ike Ekweremadu as his running mate. Having already exhibited the ability to work seamlessly with politicians from the two main political parties, it is a path he can easily thread.


“Having risen to the enviable position of the number three citizen, the only place to go for the two-term Senator and former two-term governor is up! Indeed, Saraki is not new to the dynamics of power politics, he is the scion of a political dynasty that is well-known across the nation.

“He has all the criteria that a modern Nigerian president should have, he is tall, urbane, suave, charismatic, cool and collected. But behind this charm, is a man of steel who is never afraid to pursue causes that he feels are right and just.

Now to my story.

I moved to a new house in Ibadan in May, 2017. The building has 7 flats and I occupied one of the flats.

On moving in, the landlady told me that she already paid for 7 prepaid meters for each of the flats and they will be installing them as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the transformer of my area was faulty from May till December 25th, 2017. It was eventually fixed by the community, not PHCN (NEPA).

Then, in February of 2018, the man who collected the money for the prepaid meter brought some Nepa bills for each of the flats saying that we need to pay #3000 each for "loss of revenue". This fee is to cover for the power we're consuming pending the time that our prepaid meter will be ready.

Also, we'll be paying #2000 monthly per flat while our prepaid meter is processing.

I said no. The others tenants also stood their ground.

This man then went to bring more officials to justify his actions. This time around, they added that they can remit the money for us.

This is a new house and it's obvious that they are not being truthful.

The receipt they gave us is not attached to any meter number. No A/C no. Nothing. Just a stamp that contains a name and phone number.

I see this as daylight robbery and corruption because it's obvious that they are deliberately delaying the prepaid meters for their selfish interest.

What steps can I take to correct this?

These guys are threatening to disconnect my power supply. I'm not bothered because I use a solar inverter to power my flat.

I just want to let these guys know that they are wrong. I want to take this up.

I've the phone numbers, email address, and address of IBEDC. What are the steps to take before I write a petition and start this long process.

Good Day Nlanders and Romancelanders, this is my first thread on this forum and i seriously need your candid advice pIease.

I met this wonderful ibo girl in Enugu about 4 years ago when i was still at the 82 division, Enugu(NB: I am a northerner geographically but spent most of my growing up in the south, especially Lagos cos my dad served more in the southern Nigeria).
I became friend with this babe and one thing led to another and we started dating, then she was still a student. we dated for like 6 mnths before I was later deployed to the north. Though we communicated on phone and social media but gradually we lost touch. I met other ladies but to me none was as good and homely like this ibo girl, so i had to resuscitate the relationship and worked her nysc posting to Abuja and coincidentally i was also deployed to Abuja last yr, so we became serious again.

Now she just finished her service last dec. and has gone back to Enugu , we really want to take our relationship to the next level but the wahala here is that she is a catholic and her parents are staunch ones. I have no issue marrying a catholic neither do my parents, but she said her parents would prefer she marries a catholic and gets wedded in a catholic church, but she doesn't care since she is the one in love and not her parents. Also she stylishly told me that she would still like to continue a catholic even after marriage but she would be coming to my church occasionally.( My parents attend ECWA but i attend living faith).

Now, i believe she can sort out the issue of whom to marry with her parents but my worries are: will it be a good idea that i attend a different church from my wife? what will be its influence on the kids or should i insist she must attend the same church with me and expect the worst from her?

I resent another message to her again asking her whether I sent anything wrong, she read it again and failed to reply.
