Very disappointing. I didn't know he posted this too.

GavelSlam:
You mean like Pastor Omokri?
He stands for nothing and I would be extremely worried had I been a member of the congregation.
Abbeyme:
That 'slimlin' guy is not a Pastor one bit. He is just a notice-me politician.
I'm not a fan of Reno, but this is a false assertion. He never congratulated him. He has been speaking against the show and even threw shade at it earlier today.
Politics › Re: Thugs Invasion: Sagay Blames Saraki For Missing Mace by Daviddson(m):
I totally agree. Even though Buhari appointed "Mama Taraba", he hasn't sacked her till date for saying she will not support his re-election bid, but rather Atiku's. That's not foolishness; that action has some elements of intelligence and tolerance. How then does Saraki think he can just be suspending ELECTED (not appointed) senators anyhow?
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Victor Wellington's Resignation From RCCG: Church Member, Worker Reacts by Daviddson(m): 12:17pm On Apr 18, 2018
Those of us who are either members of or familiar with RCCG put up a defence yesterday.
I can confidently say that your first rebuttal is in order. In my own parish sef, they've never collected African Mission offering, as far as I know. What members are told to give towards is CSR offering (and it's even every month) that forms part of the money the church uses for huuuge humanitarian services.
However, I still think RCCG have few gray areas that need to be looked at and corrections made.
Politics › Re: Pictures Of The Battle For The Mace Of The Senate by Daviddson(m):
Nice. I don't support rascality but this one was necessary. At least no body was injured. If Saraki's power is not quickly curtailed, he'll wake up one day to suspend half of the senators, using a phony committee report.
Politics › Re: Nigerian Senate Mace Snatched By Invaders by Daviddson(m):
I think it's a welcome development. Saraki thinks the Senate belongs to him where he can suspend people at will. The next should be House of Reps. This is not Kwara State where they see him as an alpha and omega.
It's like a dream-come-true:
Daviddson:
Can't we Nigerian youth - a million of us - mass on National Assembly one day and descend on it with anger by burning it down? I'm sure even if police were there they'll be surprised by the massive crowd that they'll just stand aloof whilst blaze brings down the edifice. That'll just be a first phase. Then...

What most people do not know about him is that the man has always been a registered member of APC, hence his reason for unceasingly defending Buhari and APC.
And there's no law barring practicing lawyers from politics.
Politics › Re: Insecurity: Senators Demand Sack Of Service Chiefs, Security Agencies Heads.. by Daviddson(m):
Let the Service Chiefs be sacked - no problem. But I'm concerned that the deputy Senate president says we should beg Britain to come and help us.
Are the British so ultrapowerful that whatever they touch turn to gold or have a magic wand to kill all the BH terrorists, killer herdsmen, armed robbersrobbers - overnight? Have the US and all its European allies not been fighting the talibans, alqaeda, for more than 16 years and counting - without victory?
Sri Lanka, a poor country, is still reputed to the only country to have totally annihilated a terrorist organisation, the Tamil Tigers. Though they weren't a religious terror group, but they were deadlier than every religious terror group you can ever imagine.

Politics › Re: Is There An Attempt To Bring Back The Arabic Writing On The 100 Naira Note? by Daviddson(m): 3:34pm On Apr 17, 2018
alBHAGDADI:
I just finished reading a statement from MURIC in which it claims the removal of the Arabic writing on the 100 Naira note was a spite against Muslims in Nigeria. The group further went on to state that the notes were poorly made that's why they don't last as seen in the high rate of bad notes in circulation today.

Recent development can make one suspect that there is an attempt to remake the 100 Naira note and this time it will contain the Arabic writing that was removed when the new centenary note was introduced. Why are we just having an high rate of bad 100 Naira notes now after 4 years of introduction? Is CBN or whoever is in charge of getting rid of the old ones and printing new notes not doing their job?

I s there really a need to have Arabic on the Naira notes? Are we an Arab country? Are we an Islamic country? Why place a totally foreign language belonging to people that aren't our colonial masters on our currencies? Why do such to the detriment of our own local languages? Why make it an avenue to cause religious divide?

Why use religious sentiment to complain about the removal of Arabic from 100 Naira note? What is an Arab writin gdoing on Nigeria's coat of arms?

I believe there is an attempt to discredit the 100 Naira note, that's why so many dirty notes have been released while the clean ones are being hoarded.

Pls, every right thinking Nigerian should stand up against any attempt to include Arabic writing in the 100 Naira note under the guise of reprinting it.
You're still yet to tell us why you chose to take the name of an Islamic terrorist who has been responsible for tens of thousands of deaths, while you still claim to be a Christian.
Christianity Etc › Re: Pastor Victor Wellington Resigns From RCCG, Exposes Redeemed "Curse Sermon" by Daviddson(m):
I do have my own reservations about certain things or sermons being preached in RCCG, but I'll not blindly believe that pastor Adeboye is doing any of them for intentional personal gains or that he's another satanic man hiding under the garb of "pastor". Not at all!
MODIFIED
Knowledge is progressive. There are certain things you know now that you didn't know a year ago; this is why he makes changes time and time again. No church does not have its own share of errors, mis-teachings, etc. And of course, hell is real.
biggy26:
You might be right in some regard. But how do u explain the tithe and hell thing. Do you sincerely believe that?
At the moment, I do not believe that tithing has a place in the New Testament dispensation.

Nigeria keep on celebrating 'giant of Africa' simply because we have the largest population. No power - South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, etc have superb power supply. Justice zero - South Africa's justice system is unarguably the best in Africa.

France, Britain, Italy, Singapore, South Korea - do we come a tenth close to any of these countries despite their low population size in comparison to Nigeria? Where has developments ever been measured by the size of one's country?

Naija! When are we going to grow above this petty politics of hiding under the cover "let there peace" to prevent justice from taking place? India, last year, jailed a so-called religious guru and godman who has millions of followers, despite the violent protest his worshippers and supporters embarked on.
Politics › Re: 2019: Woman Will Takeover Over From Me – Gov. Amosun by Daviddson(m): 10:47am On Apr 11, 2018
These governors never learn from their mistakes. Each of them keep on making it and getting themselves burned. Akpabio single-handedly brought in Emmanuel and now they're at loggerheads; same with Kwankwaso and Ganduje, Peter Obi and Willie, etc. Why can't they just allow a level playing field to determine who succeeds them rather than this imposition? Reason - for kickbacks and godfatherism.
