Lies! Getting promotion in the civil service could take up to 6 months. The process is a rigorous one. In fact, this thread is useless. |
Moghalu4Pres:This is not how to market a candidate joh! How will likes and share make him president come 2019? You're poorly doing your job. |
Mynd44, your attention is needed. This thread is a fake news! |
Seun, can you see how poor your moderators are doing their job? Should this kind of thread last for more than 1 hour let alone 5 weeks? |
You mean Saraki is going to prostrate before Buhari to beg him to beg IG to stop an investigation into murder?Jokes aside, we can now see how our politicians fund thugs with cash and weapons to rig elections. Dino was busted, now it's Saraki's turn. None of them is innocent - no, not one! |
₦2000 at work. |
Shouldn't this so-called Honourable be arrested outrightly, and thrown into a dark cell for at least 3 months - for gross abuse of "human rights"? ✔ ↙ |
Petty logic. Totally out of order. US has world's largest debt but is still the world's number one economy. |
Why can't APC conduct an election where candidates will slug it out and after a winner emerges, the losers congratulate him and move on? That's how democracy works, not this nonsensical consensus candidature of a thing. |
A talk-and-do president, unlike who we have here in Nigeria who cannot take even very minor decisions on time. Who we thought was going to be a Jackie Chan cum Jack Bauer, but became a puppet of his own government. (No insults intended.) |

I'm not a Muslim, but I think the right thing is for the Yoruba elders to quickly rise to this man's defence before they use him as scapegoat. I trust the Yoruba people's sagacity; maybe they're still studying the situation to know how to respond without heating up an already tensed situation. |

CROWNWEALTH019:Crownwealth aka SalamRushdie defender of corruption, you never cease to support corruption. Between you and pachukwudi44, I don't know who does it better. |
Can't we have an agency solely set up to arrest and speedily prosecute and jail for 2 months - within 7 days - any group of people who are suspected to have been paid to carry out a protest? ![]() |
A country where the law works, unlike what obtains here in Nigeria. Imagine a man who single-handedly revolutionalized his country's economy while he was president, now being jailed whereas Nigeria cannot convict ordinary governor or senator. |
ladiesreject:Wow, most people think Nigerian-produced rice must have stones. Quite pitiable. The only ones with stones are those milled using hands, not factory machine-milled ones. |
I'm not a fan of this sort of statement but I must admit that the Fulanis really do have a well-planned out expansionist motive. And that's to take over the whole of the Middle Belt. They did it before in the 19th Century when they captured Sokoto, Adamawa, Borno, Kano and Katsina, replacing the Hausa kings there with their tribal warlords. |
Buhari is beginning to know how to play politics. It's the norm world over to give appointments to people who contributed to your victory or are your ardent supporter. Most of the people whom Trump appointed when he newly came into office were those who worked with him during his campaign. And that includes Mike Flynn, Omarosa, Breitbert founder, Steven Bannon,... |
All of these brouhaha was most likely orchestrated by the PDP to paint APC black. I won't be surprised if APC has done the same thing to PDP before, whose fruit they're now reaping. Karma - is it? comshots:Re-read what I wrote and see if you made any valid point with respect to my comment. |
Congrats to her, but this is not equivalent to a university degree like the post is trying to suggest. |
Hanseel1:I've educated you enough. Have a nice evening. |
Hanseel1:People are not even being arrested here for hate speech, verbal threats or libel, like they do in western countries where the law works better. Last year, a teenager was jailed for life in the US for merely threatening an attack via Twitter. Do you know how many arrests police make on daily basis in America just because of social media posts or the number of Americans who have been arrested for threatening the president online? |
Hanseel1:Of course, but that doesn't give anyone the liberty to make libelous statements against somebody. Or to verbally threaten another person. In case you didn't know, in law, a threat alone is seen as being equal to an actual commission of a crime. |
Hanseel1:Yes, your instincts aren't right. If you'd taken time to read without being blinded by politics and hate, you'll have seen that it was not a political comment the pastor made. |
As far as truth or personal opinion has to be communicated, we must be wise to do so in a way that will not violently pitch one side against another, especially when it's religious. |
Why is the Nigerian judiciary so inept? In other African countries (I don't want to even mention "developed countries" ) like Sénégal or south Africa, this case would have been a history by now. Who says a criminal trial cannot be completed within 2 months? If ordinary armed robbery trial can take this long without conclusion, what's the hope for trial of billionaire politicians who can hire the best of lawyers to continually drag their case for as long as they want? |
Lol. See this over zealous PA. We can't forget that Buhari's cousin Sabiu is said to be collecting hush funds here and there. In fact, it was even reported that he promised the Amnesty man who was later sacked and had $9mn recovered from his house, that if he bribed him, he will not lose his job. |
TonyeBarcanista:Deep down your mind you know Makarfi that you're supporting cannot win PDP primary. |
