Do I feel for her? NO........

It was not her first time, but she probably felt God sent her on this evangelical mission and would protect her.....

It's time she realises, a time and a place exists....... Even during her hearing, it was said she showed no remorse and it was clear she would continue on this her evangelical mission........
Calm down Sah!

She has been sacked. Lesson learnt. Let's not add jara to the story grin

Is it possible to work and pay Living expenses in France for the duration of studies. Does the language barrier affects student Job opportunities?
I cannot give a definite answer to your first question. It is not easy but not impossible if you intend to do that.
Language barrier affects it but there are some opportunities too for traditional english speakers.

The truth is i don't have deep knowledge about Computer, the only thing i can do is just to type with a laptop, i studied Medical Biochem in schl so all this coding and programming sounds abstract to me coz i don't know anything about them...but if i should go for the Computer related course, will i be able to adapt and cope, that's my major concern, and if i opt for the MBA instead, can i still get a Job with that in France and continue working there permanently ?
Getting a job after a degree is not etched in stone. You apply, get invited for interviews and offered a job. I just shared with you the state of things and what would be an advantage to you.

Also, I cannot tell you what you should do, as you know more about your strength and weakness. Therefore, go for what you think can be a good strength for you and give your very best at it.

Good day guys, pls am planning to do masters in Business Administration (MBA) in France, but my sponsor suggested i do something related to Computer sci coz i can easily get a work in France and stay there permanently if i study anything related to Computer, but am this kind of person who have passion for business hence my desire to do MBA in France, pls i need an advice from u guys and besides i studied Medical Biochemistry and graduated with a 2.2 here in Nigeria, can i still get good job in France if i do my MBA over there and possibly get a work visa to stay there permanently or go for any computer related course (tho i don't have deep knowledge about the use of Computer like that), pls ur advises are needed
What kind of deep knowledge do you have about Computer? Can you code/program? Are you a Data Scientist?

Studying an MBA in France is cliche, to be honest. It is not uncommon to see a 23 - 25 year old with 2 Masters; one of which is an MBA. The only difference would be the school you intend to go to: say an MBA in any of these business schools - INSEAD, HEC Paris, ESCP Europe, EDHEC, Rennes, Grenoble and a few others, might make you stand out, thought they are quite costly.

Personally, i would say: go the Computer Science (IT) or Internet of Things (IoT) route; if or when you get the admission. It would help you if you intend to stay back in France.

Which e-mail address did you get this from?
What role did you apply for?
How far have you gone with the process?

It is very strange for a firm like Halogen to ask that you pay for your training! So give us all the details to understand you better.

Good day house, nice job going on here. I gained admit into an Erasmus Mundus masters program in one of the Grand Ecoles- ENS Paris Saclay. I have gone through the discussions here, and have found out that one do not need to book for an appointment at VFS. However, I will like to know from the gurus in the house on the cost of living in Paris, as well as the things to expect there. I will be spending one year in ENS, but the other year in research at Ecole polytechnique, Harvard medical school and MIT. Thank you all, as I await your valued responses.
Congrats on your admission! Nice one.

The cost of living in Paris depends on the district per sè, as some district are more expensive than others but generally, as a student, it is better you apply for accommodation at Cité Universitaire or since you are on a scholarship, you can apply for a CROUS accommodation through Campus France.

Accommodation with Cité is about €500 - €680 per month depending on the type of room (Single room/Studio) while CROUS is between €400 - €600 also depends if it is shared or a studio.

Paris is a beautiful, calm and artistic city; if you don't look for trouble, trouble won't look for you. You meet all kinds and "not smiling" is a thing. So when someone tells you "Bonjour" with no smile, it is normal.
The metro is always crowded in the morning and night with slight delays at time.

Nevertheless, your 1 year in Paris would be worth it!

Sorry, I have to quote you. Your analysis leaves me perplexed because I am just like the wife of the OP. I have never shown my husband off on social media. No wedding pix, no cute lovey dovey stuff. I don't wish him happy birthday or comment on his post cos we are not friends.
Apart from our circle, folks on social media don't know I'm married to him. I love hubby like crazy, I'm proud of him and would sacrifice anything for him but in my mind, social media is a taboo when it comes to family. I hide my family like kilode. Hubby has never complained nor commented. I don't need to announce to the world that my marriage is good.

I am also very none enthusiastic when given gifts. They don't trip me, reason I couldn't be bought by any man when single. I used to react that way when hubby gave me gifts, even when he bought me a car, now I muster up a little excitement to thank him just so he wouldn't feel bad. I am not demanding neither do I care about his money.

Why I am writing this is because I see myself in that woman, and since I am just like her I'm wondering if your analysis is wrong. I do not have a secret lover or love interest. I've only ever loved my husband in the real sense of the word and the thought of cheating has never crossed my mind, so I'm wondering, could you be wrong about her?.

@OP, your wife MAY just be like me. I don't presume to know what goes on in your marriage, but I'd advise you take most of the advice given here with caution. An innocent woman may just be accused wrongly by folks whose first explanation to everything is cheating.
Just one question: Does your husband show you off on social media? If Yes, do you untag yourself when he tags you to pictures?

They did the test both in Lagos and in PHC, a total of about 100 wrote the test, 28 were invited for the interview and i think about 8 were selected.

This was the timeline
Application started 12-02-2017

Application Deadline 26-02-2017 (2 weeks)

Invitation for Aptitude Test 08-03-2017 (10 days from app deadline)

Test Date 18-03-2017 (About 20 days from deadline and 10 days from test invitation day)

Invitation for Interview 22-03-2017 with acknowledgement and confirmation of attendance due 24-03-2017 (About 4 days from test date)

Interview Date 27/28-03-2017 (About 6 days from Invite date, Interview in PHC only, stipend to be given to cover transport back home)

Feedback on Interview 10-04-2017 (About 2 weeks after Interview).

Cheers!
100 people wrote the test in 2017? Sure about that?

Last year, about 3000 people wrote the test (Lagos and PH).

I thought total would get us the admission once were come through their test and interviews
Once you get the scholarship, admission to the school you chose is about 99% sure. Though you still need to apply normally and provide all necessary documents, Total corresponds with the school also.

i applied for tourist visa to france and presently gathering necessary documents for submission.

however, see this page, i discovered that so many documents are mentioned here which werent stated in the list of documents i was asked to bring along...

eg the list i got after filling the form on the website doesnt say i should bring marriage certificate or tax clearance or a family member's bank statement.

on the list i have...

1. application form

2. ID photograph (passport photograph i believe)

3. travel document (intl passport i believe)

4. prebooked return ticket

5. reservation confirmation with a tour guide (looks like the tour guides wont give me reservation unless i pay)

6. travel health insurance (i plan to use IGI)

7. hotel reservation or sufficient means to cover accommodation for the period of stay (do i just show them my bank acct balance to prove i have money to fund my accommodation when i get there?)

8. proof of income (bank statement i believe... what are they looking to check here?)

9. proof of professional situation (do i just present my certificate of incorporation as a business owner or i need more documents to back this up?)

pls help break these things down
Focus on the documents you were told to bring. Each application is unique in itself.

No. 7 - It will be better to show a reservation that covers your entire stay. I don't think you need to pay for reservations.

No. 8 - What are they looking to check? Really. Lol.

No. 9 - Any document you feel will be useful to present as a business owner, then present it. They are not complaining of too many documents.

Hope you pay your tax though?

NCP is not FID!! Signing NCP is a normal thing in the current Oil and Gas space.

When they sign FID (Final Investment Decision), then we will take them serious.

Bros calm down. You will need it in London. Justwise just said "same person" and you don already scatter ground. A simple explanation would have sorted out the issue, it is not like you are asking people for money.

I stayed for a short while in a shared apartment at North London for about 550pcm all inclusive. Managed by one agency that like money pass their life: http://www.accommodationlondon.net/ +442084596203 or you can also check https://www.spareroom.co.uk/

If you are considering IFP school, their admissions close March 31st, so for that I would suggest applying to the school first, in previous editions of the total scholarship, the instruction as to apply for admission in those schools too
Not quite. If the person gets the scholarship and wants to go to IFP, he/she can. They have a special window for Total scholars to apply even after their normal admission deadline and it is a sure admission.

You don't really need to apply to the school before applying to the scholarship but you should know the school you want and their required admission requirements.
