No problem. Well, i redeployed. Ebonyi had little to offer me, so i took the higher ground. Notwithstanding, there were some corpers that maximized their stay but it just wasn't for me.

It all depends on want you want though. Let's say you apply for a job in Lagos and get called for a test, would you want to be travelling c.12hours ?

However, one agent told me I ought to pay half the fees or more else the embassy will deny me visa.

Paying £3000 or £5000 is not part of the requirements to get a visa. Since your school asked that you should pay £3000, then pay £3000 and apply for your visa, making sure all the "Home Office required requirement" is provided

So UKVI got back and admitted their error but they said i should send my passport to their P.O.Box in Sheffield but as a Naija guy, i will go there myself.

Please do you or anyone know the specific address in Sheffield? All i have is a P.O.Box..

Just one advice! I am 99% sure your passport is at TLS office. It takes UKVI less than or about 24hours to dispatch your passport back to TLS after a decision has been made. If you wanna keep waiting for mail, that's not bad.. if not, go there and demand they check! Threaten to report to UKVI..

If the passport has been returned back to TLS and they haven't sent a mail, at least they would update the person's application status on their website.

TLS can be a funny bunch. Call UKVI, if they said they have made a decision, then please go and make some noise in TLS office.

Call UKVI and ask them. The visa would have been issued but TLS might not have sent a mail. The same thing happened to a friend, UKVI said they have made a decision since and her passport was returned back to TLS.

This is simply far from the truth. I am a graduate of the same department. MEE 203 is engineering drawing course which in the first isn't a sitting examination course, you need to stand to make the best of your drawings. Besides, you can't compare this kind of examination with others, because you can't effectively copy engineering drawing if you don't understand the rudiments. The guy might just choose the position if that's what work for him at that moment.

Exactly! During my engineering drawing exam, i didn't even want a seat. We stood all through.. sitting when you are trying to use your 3rd eye to get all the elevations.. abeggi. Lol.

You could use www.spareroom.co.uk to search for accomodation or look for a cheap airbnb to stay for the 17th, do some room viewings same day when you arrive and move in.
