He is also not the party type. And he complained the people he sees are British born Nigerians. He lives outside London. Please do you have anytips for him? Let him join InterNations or any Professional network for Expatriates. |

Olalekank: You wanna touch snow??!!! So all the cold you've been talking about no snow and you "wanted to freeze"
Now you're waiting for snow, you might end up begging the snow to go, lol.
Disclaimer: I've not been out of the 5 walls of this country but this is based on what I've read online Lol. It is not that bad, and people don't stay outdoors like that when it is snowing. The amount of heater in my residence sef is enough to fry dodo! Lol |

Will that attract any penalties? Thanks a lot Let's just say as soon as you collect your passport and see your visa, you can enter a bar and empty your account. |

STENON: Indeed, Dreams do come into reality !!! Yes and Yes. We must never be tired of dreaming, Keep on dreaming about big and very Great things, be open to people about your dreams, 99% will mock and laugh at you, don't be discouraged even by some factors like financial ability and family background, Don't waste your time begging people you know that can support the dream but turned themselves to demi semi-god or idol for worshipping before they can assist. Just picture yourself living the dreams and things will fall into places for you. Happy Sunday to everyone. I love you all Lol. Welcome to the UK, Stenon! Where is the bread? |

Lonestar124: I'm preparing for Slovenia next year, I've hear a lot of good things about the country. Slovenia is a country that people visit for holidays, not migrate to. If you still wanna go though, i wish you the best. Put on your tough skin. You could also look at Estonia, at least there is a thriving Nigerian community there. |

londoner: You said you may fulfil your dream of dating an Arabian. Your definition is not correct Honour based violence or killing is not even as far as taking virginity without marriage. Dating the girl alone can be seen as a dishonour to the family.
It's not just the father, often it's the mother, brothers and sisters who order or carry out the killing. There are also males that get harmed too.
Look it up before you find yourself or a girl in pepper soup my dear. The Arab Spring changed most of that "honour killing" and a lot of things in the Arab world. Things are different now.. It's only core "extremist countries" like Saudi and a few others that is still holding on, albeit changes are happening. My Pakistani friend is getting married to a French next month and the wedding is in Pakistan. My Tunisian friend (female) stopped wearing hijab because she got tired. She is in Tunisia right now and no one is complaining about her non-hijabi. She is even looking for an English man to marry. Lol |

404cathy: Hello everyone pls I'm in a bit of a tussle... My agent has been the one helping with my schooling and admission in the UK. Before my CAS was sent to me it was initially with me applying as a self sponsor, but I had tampered with the funds for my living expenses due to circumstances I'd rather not share here... I'm. Behind the clock as school resumes in January can I use the CAS I have already and a sponsorship letter from my company? Would there be any conflicts?
FYI its an international company.
Please advice Have you informed your school of the change in circumstances? If they give you a go ahead, then go ahead. If need be, when applying, write a detailed cover letter stating the updated situation |

You could also visit "Winter Wonderland" at Hyde Park and if you are a Christian, Hillsong Church has a Carol on Sunday (16th) at SSE Wembley Arena. Ticket is £5/£6 or so. bameyi: Hi Nairalander, am visiting London for Christmas vacation where will be the best place to go for site seeing. Tourist attraction venue all the good stuff. Thanks |

Goldenboy007: Yea. I wanted to leave a nasty review on their website but changed my mind when I heard other Airlines do same when it comes to some African countries. You need to see the first class service on the flight back to US. They actually insulted a woman because she asked to be taken in a wheelchair. Its so sad. Maybe I would eventually leave them a review and they would give me a life ban from their flight. Nevertheless Lufthansa is off my preferred list for now. Please do the review. That's one thing we should try and inculcate. It is very important. |

RalphJean: This is NOT about casting stone. This is about someone telling us on this forum that he or she is scared, very very scared of telling his/her AUNTY that the school has messed up the initial plans. e bad so tey na d skool him don ask Mek dem help am call him Aunty. e mean say him don forward the Aunty number to the school Mek d school call d Aunty on him behalf. Does that make sense to you? Baba you calm down. I believe Stenon telling the aunt would directly signify she wants the aunt to sponsor her accomodation outside London which may not go too well with her (depending on closeness though) and the aunt might just tell her to forget about the Uni. or coming to the UK, maybe if the school calls her directly, both parties might come to an agreement. We were all JJCs before entering UK and now, our "eyes don tear" so don't blame her. Assume all information are correct and provide answers/suggestions/correction. Nobody be Met. Police for here. |
