For your information...

Increase in IHS fee has been approved and will be implemented anytime soon.

I received a call this evening from a Nigerian representative of my school asking me to attend an interview with him by next week before they can issue me CAS. Please is this proper? Can this be the embassy interview because I am just confused .
CAS would enable you apply for a visa, and you can only be interviewed by the "embassy" after you have applied for a visa, not before.

As per being proper, every school have their pre-requisite, but do your due diligence sha before attending the interview.

View from our top floor room, you can see the yellowing of the trees as autumn season is in bloom, preparing for the full winter expected from next month.

It's crazy how these Europeans run things. Imagine this whole Hotel has no restaurant?
We were referred to a Restaurant across the street to grab something. Got in there and everything is written in German.
Fortunately the waiter speaks English, so I said, guy abeg come and explain these menus before I order nonsense. Lol
At the end of the day, we settled for seafood/Spaghetti/steak, the only thing that sounded familiar.
The bill? Nah guy, we can't continue like this- almost €50, I don't need to punch calculator to know that I must explore this neighbourhood later to find cheaper options.
For now, na to go and sleep first, and attend.
Most European hotels have restaurants close to their building, either owned by them or a partnership.

€50huh You be big man o! cheesy

....I really appreciate your time for this reply.... God bless....

please I intend going for an engineering course in either Germany or Canada to get my Bachelors Degree

please can you assist me by listing universities in the preferred countries I chose which are capable of giving out a scholarship for engineering to enroll for a Bachelors program..please just help a guy who doesn't have an idea on this at all....
1st: This is not a thread for Germany or Canada.

2nd: You need to calm down, sit down and do a thorough research on Google with all the keywords you mentioned. I really don't know much about Engineering Bachelors' program that offers scholarships but you could search and find out.

3rd: Have you thought about studying in Nigeria? International Oil companies, Local Oil firms offers scholarships especially to Year 1 and Year 2 engineering students till the end of their schooling, so you could look at that or you can apply for the Federal Government Bilateral Education Agreement B.Sc Study programs to countries like Russia, Hungary, China, Germany et al. (Do your research on it)

It has been a very pleasant day for me here after checking street map of my accommodation in London South East. Please what are the necessary food stuff to take along ? I want to venture into hair stylist and importation/exportation business while studying over there, isn't it a bad idea? I can't stop dreaming of my first night at London... indeed life is so beautiful but not in Nigeria sha embarassed.
You can do all you want to do in the UK as long as it is within the law and doesn't go against your visa guideline.
Easy on the food though, bring more Nigerian ish than food you can easily get here (and at a good price)..

@bolded, First night in London..Lol. After 1 week, You will find out, but it is far better than Naija!!

Career › Re: How Much Rent Is Too Much For Someone Who Earns 100k A Month by davide470(m): 8:51am On Oct 28, 2018
marshborn:
Good evening nairalanders, I earn 100k a month which amounts to 1.2 million per annum.
I just secured an apartment in yaba which cost 300k per year. I chose yaba because of its proximity to the island which is where i work.

I want to know if the rent costs too much for someone of my status.

Am I about to start living above my means? Advice needed.
I feel it is Ok. Also, i am sure you have plans to either change jobs before the end of the rent and earn more or at least be promoted in your place of work with an increase in salary.
