hammed71: guys how possible is it to secure a work visa to France from Nigeria, and how do I go about it. Almost the same as the UK. You must have gotten an offer with a firm in France, then your employer would file for your work permit after showing they cannot get a candidate in the French labour market. With the fact that french is not part of our lingua franca, this particular route is almost not feasible. |

deybholar: Transportation in the UK is quite expensive (if you convert to Naira) but why wouldn’t I convert biko.
Train ticket from Heathrow to London King’s Cross costs £6 (it’s cheaper if you have an oyster card) and the ride from London King’s Cross Station to Leeds cost me £29 one way (it becomes more expensive if you don’t book early. I bought mine a month before traveling) £6 is a bit expensive for a 1 way trip with Piccadilly. Since you are a frequent traveller, why not just get the Oyster card? Following! |

philip0906: Even if it's 8 months...150k per week translates to almost 600k per month * 8 months=4.8million The tax in most of these countries are as high as 50% (why do you think footballers that are earning very good pay have tax issues) and most countries have dual taxation, like the UK and US. (Mikel is also a UK citizen) So it is possible his net income will be 1.5m EUR, but it is just an estimated figure. He is the only one that knows what he is earning at the end of the day. |

koolkamzzy: Yeah, I got one month visa. It was an official trip, so the inviting company sent letter to embassy and a copy to me. I think this made it easy, even though it was my first schengen visa. My visa expires 29th July, but my trip to France was suppose to be with bae, so we had to shift it to September and we plan to reapply together this week.. Do you think it's too soon? Given that I still have a valid visa? No, it is not. Apply as stated and i wish you the best. |

TheNoble007: Oh thank you. I was thinking that the process might be lengthy. And moreover, I am applying for a French student visa. My appointment is this Friday. I am thinking that applying for US student visa in Nigeria will be seamless. What do you think? The US visa application might or might not be seamless, but why risk it when you can settle down comfortably and apply for your US visa in the French Republic. Getting a rejection in Nigeria might also have an impact on your application in La France. My advice: Get your Long Stay Student Visa, travel to France and apply for the US visa after you validate your student visa. |

demmysoft: Thank You, I will go tru their website, find the French bank details Ok, i asked for the bank details to know if the bank your school uses operate in the UK like most French banks but Trésor Public is more of a state owned institution. So the best bet is to use that platform or others like it to do the transfer. |

Thank you. Yeah, most platform haven't implemented the AMEX portal into their payment method, but i think Transferwise accept it. You can read more about Paying by Card here: https://transferwise.com/help/15/paying-for-your-transfer/2556723/paying-by-cardWhat french bank is the school using? |

demmysoft: Hello house, kindly advise me on this issue. I wanted to pay for my school fees in France for graduate study @universite Saclay Paris. I was asked to pay the tuition fees through bank transfer (not online payment) and my sponsor is in UK, said he can only pay through his credit card. I have mailed the school to send me online payment route, but no response yet. I don't know if there is other way I can sort out this problem. Is there any intermediary/agent that accept online payment and transfer to school directly.
Thank you. I don't think schools in France do the online payment route except it is a specialised service. Since you have their bank details, your sponsor can use "TransferWise" for a fee; though i don't know their funds limit, and the school will get value the next working day. I have transferred money from my UK bank account to my French account using the platform and there was no issue. |

Hello everyone.. I want to apply for super poriety service (students Visa) I want to know if they give notification before phone interview or they just call anytime.. thanks Using SP means you might not even get a phone interview except your application is not straight forward. Your application may not be straightforward if any of the following apply to you: You have been refused a visa for the UK; You have been refused leave to enter the UK; You have been deported, removed, or otherwise required to leave the UK; You have overstayed a period of leave in the UK; You have had leave to remain in the UK curtailed by the Home Office; You have been refused leave to remain in the UK by the Home Office; You have been refused a visa for Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United States of America, or the Schengen countries; You have been interviewed, detained, or prosecuted by the police for any offence in the UK or elsewhere; You have an unspent criminal conviction in any country; You have committed a criminal offence in any country. |

Circulate: I still pushed ahead not until it became obvious in my Final year that I won't be graduating in that school when I saw my final year result with a CGPA of 1.67, with carry over of over 6 and owed courses of 5 making a total of "11" waiting course to be done in the next year this got me weak and loosed hope. I wanted to go on but with the fear of humiliation and frustration that CO's students go through in my department due to the wickedness of my HOD and most of the lecturers, I withdrawn myself and moved on with life. I am really trying to understand this part! Because you had 6 carryover and 5 owed courses, with the fear of humiliation, you decided to throw away all the years and money that you spent and has been spent on you?? You now want to register for JAMB?? Haba! When did writing carryovers become a sin or criminal offence? Why not go back to your department and register for those courses and see how you can pass them all in a year! I know people who wrote theirs for like 2 year before they passed and they are comfortable at the moment. You are not the first to write carryovers and will not be the last. I wrote 2 carryover back then in engineering school and i didn't care about the humiliation or whatever you want to call it because na me know wetin dey drive me. Telling your brother you have an extra year and you will make sure you pass all the courses would be a lot better than saying you want to rewrite JAMB!? It is better you master your sewing and register for an IT programming course than write any JAMB. Please forget about Suicide! Thinking about it in the first place no make sense. If you can't go to Europe now, you can always go another time. Europe no dey run away and talents are always welcomed! |

nomad26: Here's how my partner and I do it: we have 3 joint accounts for expenses, savings and holidays. Because we don't earn the same amount of money, we decided that each person contribute the same percentage of their income to each account (30% each for expenses, 30% savings, 10% holidays) The remaining 30% left in our separate accounts is spending money for each person to spend however they like. This has been working for us. The key is to find a formula that works for you guys. I love this formula! Booked for future reference! |

Hi, I'm almost back while you are almost right !
If hustling is a crime then I think I have offended everyone following this journal !
I have been having a lot of workload (studies and work) since the beginning of this year, I taught i'll scale through it and have time to feed my thread, 'shebi na to just dey write' But hell no, no time.
However, I'll be on break soon and i'll 'picture-gist' the whole thing in no time.
P,S; The country continent is so green that you won't even have time until you've made enough ! Let's make this sh*t, and I would flow well Loool. Take it easy. Been following this thread, ma'am and i must commend you! Nice work. Please don't relent. I know how tasky it can get. I am thinking of planning a trip to the South of France & Lyon before Winter commences. I stay in Paris by the way. |
