Don't spoil* their business please. Remember, it is from those money that they pay salaries, render services and initiate cooperate responsibilities.
Bruv,

In a way, they actually make more money from T-bills than Fixed Deposit. FD increases their asset base in terms of deposit and that is a bragging right. Also, majority of their income comes from FX Transactions (Non-Interest Income)

So, i know not what you say.

Oh wow, that's really cool

So Tier 2 banks are not comfortable with this development, yeah
You are learning fast!

Basically, it is all the Tiered Banks that are not comfortable. Fixed deposit funds resides with the bank and they can make more money from your money, but Treasury bills funds goes to the CBN.

Bros,

How far you na? Stop with all the insults and counter-arguments. It is really getting annoying,

I know the level of experience you have, so respect deepwater when she speaks. You guys should stick to the name of this thread or you won't be able to comment again.

majekdom2:
.
Iya,

You can actually speak without insulting, and try to contribute to this thread, not showing off who has more experience or what-not.

Then again, you can't know all in the industry, so value other people's opinion. The First Locally made Christmas Tree was designed by a Nairalander (Works in Total) and he does not argue with people.

Any more aberrations would lead to a ban from the Jobs Section

Apart from those two bullshìt, the rest is accurate.

By the way if you have knowledge in all these fields, why do you even need to write a CV in the first place?

This thread reeks of exclusive bullshìtness
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by davide470(m): 9:28am On Jul 29, 2017
Bruv,

At the end of any investment report, there is a 3page or more disclaimer by the Analyst. Try and always read that part. Nobody has a crystal ball, we all work with numbers, so if an analyst recommend a BUY, the numbers are there to show for it..

Numbers being Public Information readily available to anyone
Zhirinovsky:
Lol. Finance generally is filled with rogues. The first rule in this game is trust nobody and nothing.
If a whole KPMG can give the Icelandic economy AAA rating to the detriment of the public before the 2008 crash when Icelandic bankers where busy squandering investors money, if a whole Standard and Poor can give shitty mortgage backed securities AAA rating because of money to the detriment of innocent investors, if big investment banks can give innocent citizens a thousand reasons to buy shitty CDO's while they bet against those same CDO's, if an investment analyst can say one thing in public and act oppositely on his trading desk then why would you trust someone on a faceless forum?
You all that say Meristem, renaissance, afrinvest etc value a stock at so so so kobo. Do you think they didn't give you that info inorder to use it against you on their trading desk.

If you trade securities then you must learn never to trust anybody, any firm, any analyst.

Did you apply for a teaching job there?
If yes....what kind of reputation do you have? looking for likely questions that will be asked? what else do you want to teach the kids there if you are employed in the school..even if as an admin officer.
I must say i am not comfortable the way we graduates take job search.
I see so much un-seriousness on our path.

If you know your worth as a potential maths teacher...there is no reason why you need to ask this kind of question.
Well we need to seriously talk to ourselves
thanks

Trust you are fine.
In as much as I know that new breeds come in to JV everyday; I think you should still briefly reiterate the scope of this thread. Then you can have reduction in unnecessary "mentions".

Da.vide470, I know your hands are tight. Police this thread.
