Pls if you know nothing about a person kindly keep mute. You can search "Wahab Adegbenro" on Facebook to read what people are saying about him. Below is one of it:
Just like people praise M.K.O for his philanthropy, despite the fact that he got his wealth through nepotism and monopoly.
He privatised public funds, then disbursed it as he saw fit without public oversight. Now that he is gone, what will happen to that private hospital of his?
Had he implemented public health programs that saw to the well being of those disabled or disenfranchised individuals in the community, wouldn't the entire state be better for it?

We have to condemn all these "buje-budanu" politicians once and for all

All politicians are not heartless as we thought. Dr. Oluropo Wahab Adegbenro was never like them. He was a nice man, my family doctor, he took my delivery and the 1st philanthropist I ever get to know in my life. He treats patients freely in his hospital (Crown Hospital, Akure). Read the tribute I wrote for him below:

I HOPE YOU FINALLY MAKE HEAVEN DOC

Before and even when you were the Commissioner for Health, you did not have a personal Car. Once, I asked you, why? You replied "vanity upon vanity."

I was teasing him few months ago in his office that he now dresses really good, which I believe must have been because of meetings and official duties. Or, he doesn't wear anything fancy.

I really hope you make heaven, because sometimes I wonder if you went to College of Medicine, just for the less privileged. A doctor that will do free surgeries for the poor and still feed them before discharging them without collecting a penny?!

I can't stop asking myself or Dr Adegbenro anytime we had the opportunity to talk that, is it that you don't want the good things of life?
He'll reply by saying "God will provide for his needs."
I really hope you make heaven.

I remember when your colleagues were at loggerheads with you because Crown Hospital was more of a charity home than a hospital.

I remember my mum (of blessed memory) will always take any sick one among us in the car and tell daddy "let's head to Crown Hospital". Through out my growing days even from birth, I can't remember you requesting for a dime as the fee for the medical attention or treatment we got from your hospital. I hope you make heaven.

You were our first point of call when my mum was sick. You attended to her swiftly giving all your best at no cost before referring us to a Consultant. I remember your words then when I came back to thank you after her burial, you said "she's a friend, a club mate, your best friend's sister and that moreso you respect her cos she was a hardworking and submissive wife". I hope you make heaven.

I was with you in January to discuss full employment for my wife and I remember you promised to ensure it is done during the next phase of employment at Hospital Management Board or Ministry of Health. I hope you make heaven

I hope you make heaven, that will be my only consolation! It will simply mean that an angel returned to where he belongs.

I do really hope and pray you make heaven Wahab Adegbenro (Proud son of Ilara-mokin) !

Humanity just suffered a big blow!
May God almighty console his family and Ondo State.
Adieu Dr Oluropo Wahab Adegbenro (Ondo State Commissioner for Health).

I wish you make heaven
I pray you make heaven
You truly deserve to make heaven

Even Evans the kidnapper will have people who will sing his praise when he dies.
Just because you are one of the few that benefited from his mostly stolen wealth does not make him a saint.
This man has held various political positions since 1999 but could not use his position to fight for better public health infrastructure.

Foreign AffairsRe: Donald Trump And The Hypocrisy And Shallowness Of Evangelical Christianity. by davidhume1: 2:47pm On Oct 18, 2016
Evangelical Christians' support of trump is based on hate. They hate Muslims, they hate homosexuals, they hate catholic Latinos, they want to take away the rights of a woman to control her reproductive choices. They want a government that will abolish the separation of church and state. They want to bring the bible into the classroom.
On one hand, I hope they succeed. Because, once they've eliminated all the "undesirables", they'll start turning against each other.
The founding fathers separated church and state because of the sectarian violence in Europe, but these folks want to undo all that.
It's their funeral.

I heard Arya stark is the author's wife's favourite character, so she's the only one I can stick out my neck for. As for others, it's Valar Morghulis!

I still haven't recovered from the manner in which jon snow was killed. I don't know why the author has to put the stark family through so much. Their deaths are ALWAYS too brutal.

Christianity EtcRe: Christianity; The Reason For Science by davidhume1: 12:08pm On Mar 13, 2016
The only reason you have so many christian scientists in the renaissance period was because the church had total control over the classical works of the Greeks and Romans. So, in order to have access to these works, you HAD to be a christian. Let's also remember that the value of the knowledge of these pagan societies was only made apparent to the christians AFTER the Muslims had used pagan discoveries to advance their societies.

Got this from someone.
Don't know how true it is

EL-RUFAI NEW LAWS
* In Kaduna you cannot preach without license
* Every preacher will have to go and get ONLY one year
license (renewable every year). That is, you must always
preach without an expired license or you risk 2 years
imprisonment.
* If you invite any external preacher (i.e. preacher outside
kaduna state), such a person must be licensed for the
duration of his/her stay and the body issuing the license has
the right to reject external preacher they feel is not qualify
to preach in Kaduna state.
* Every preacher who want to be licensed will appear before
a screening committee. If he/she scales through, he/she will
only be given licensed for one year.
* The law criminalizes the use of CDS, Flash Drive and other
communication gadgets except in religious building or inside
your house.
* That means, you will be arrested for listening to preaching
or religious music inside your cars or in any open place
except in your house or religious building.
* If you preach without license, you are guilty of offense
punishable with 2 years imprisonment or a fine of 200,000.
You can’t use microphone in your church after 8pm you are
guilty of offense punishable with 2 years’ imprisonment or a
fine of 200,000.
* Since all preaching must be done within a building, it
means public evangelism will be criminalized. Those who
preach early morning, known by some as morning cry and
preaching inside bus if arrested will be fined N200,000.
* This could also means, people will not be allowed to go
out for evangelism on streets or move with vehicles with
address systems to advertise their programs.
With the history of destructive religious clashes in the state, I think these laws make perfect sense.

Keep it up El-Rufai. We need more leaders like you joor

I don't know why some Yorubas are falling for this fallacy orchestrated by the binis. The Benin explanation of oduduwa is a myth. This guy trekked from present day Benin all the way to Ife, ON HIS OWN. Nothing to trade with, just living off the land, I presume. Finally makes it to Ife, learns the Yoruba language and culture, then he is somehow crowned king? That sounds more like nollywood than reality to me. In reality, we can't find a SINGLE cultural practice in Ife that can be traced back to the edos. On the other hand, the name "Benin" (Ile ibinu), the title of the king (Oba), the art (bronze works), the Gods and even the architecture of the royal palace in present day Benin can be traced back to Ife. What did ekaladerhan bring to the table in Ife that made the natives crown his penniless and powerless as§, King? This is historical revisionism at it's peak! Somehow, the Benin obas were so afraid of yorubas, that they had to keep the history of their own people a secret for all these years? There are many towns in ondo state that were under the Benin empire, yet none of them can corroborate this story. However, the views I express here are for yorubas only! I think edo people are entitled to believe whatever they want.

Continue downgrading the gods of your ancestors.
It's no wonder that some ifa practitioners in USA are beginning to claim that ifa has nothing to do with Africa.
Soon the white people will repackage the ifa corpus, and these same "house Negros" will be kissing the "new" obatala's as§, with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes.

Back in the day, you had to go to the national theatre or at LTV8 and also at nta cinemas to watch any new movie. It was always a family thing back then, the cinema culture was alive among yorubas. Do you now get it? . . . Now next time do not assert or link atheism with evolution or big bang ok? Some christians or theist too believe in big bang and evolution theory and others dont.. e.g Pope Francis
I guess by the strict definition of the term, you can call yourself an atheist.
But since the foundation of your atheism is not built on science, I don't think there's any point in asking why you disagree with evolution or the big bang. It'll be a monumental waste of my time.

Ok. I won't associate atheism with a belief. But the some total of what u agree with, is what theists believe, provided you remove the cloak of personality traits associated with God (which, in my opinion, simply helps religion teach and relate with the complex abstraction that atheism often encounters)
Now you're telling me that theists agree with evolution, the big bang, absence of a hereafter etc?

You're STILL doing it dude!

Yes of course I group them because every position has a belief. In your case, atheism, believes there is no God.

Nothing I wrote is a lie. Neither have I preached any religion. The thread represent a novel perspective. You seem bent on attacking just parts without due consideration to the whole.

Teach yours the way you understand it.
Stop associating "atheism" with "belief". You're just contradicting yourself.
You can hold a belief, as true, without requiring a single proof!
Therefore, atheists regard positions based on mere belief as "opinions", SIMPLE.
You're just trying to be mischievous. Atheists have NO beliefs. Our positions are based on VERIFIABLE FACTS.
Perhaps you didn't know this before, but now that you do, you should pls refrain from degrading atheism as "belief".
IT IS NOT!

OLAADEGBU
C.S. Lewis put it this way: if a man sees another in danger, the first instinct is to rush to help (altruism). But a second voice intervenes and says, “No, don’t endanger yourself,” which is in keeping with self-preservation. But then a third voice comes into play and says, “No, you ought to help.” Where does that third voice come from, asks Lewis? This is what is referred to as the “ought-ness” of life. Morality is what people do, but ethics describe what people ought to do. And yes, people know what they ought to do, but that doesn’t mean that they always act according to that knowledge.
Lol
If you don't fear anything in life, i beg you in the name of all that is good to PLEASE fear the bolded in any religious person you come across!

That "ought-ness" has led to the death of over a hundred million native Americans, millions of jews in the dark ages, and several pagan communities all over Europe (directly or indirectly)!

Christianity EtcRe: Does Religion Hold People Back From Becoming Very Educated by davidhume1: 9:37pm On Aug 20, 2014
If you're equating education to enlightenment, then YES, religion CAN hinder education.

Any form of thinking that makes you accept a proposition as fact without any form of solid proof will surely hinder education.

Religion has a way of getting your mind made up, even before you encounter an issue. Therefore you can't assess any issue without some bias.

always try to understand what the bible says.
here is what the bible says in direct correlation with tribulations(tests) and heaven:

Revelation 7:9-12 I looked again. I saw a huge crowd, too huge to count. Everyone was there—all nations and tribes, all races and languages. And they were standing, dressed in white robes and waving palm branches, standing before the Throne and the Lamb and heartily singing:
Salvation to our God on his Throne! Salvation to the Lamb! All who were standing around the Throne—
...
13-14 Just then one of the Elders addressed me: "Who are these dressed in white robes, and where did they come from?" Taken aback, I said, "O Sir, I have no idea—but you must know."

15-17 Then he told me, "These are those who come from the great tribulation, and they've washed their robes, scrubbed them clean in the blood of the Lamb. That's why they're standing before God's Throne.
Thanks bro!

Why the test in the first place?
If he was such a perfect God, and he's sure of his creative abilities, why did he need to set up tests to verify?

Definitely, he knew that something might be wrong with his work. After seeing how woeful the experiment of Lucifer and co went.

But instead of owning up to his f*ck up, he deflects the blame to his miserable creation!
