"Critical thinking"- ask questions because you can think up a question (we don't care if its true or not thinking!)The weapon Satan caught you with. A Wickedly Crafty Device to hide the Truth from you and send you on endless pursuit of the truth, so that you see not the Truth, The Evil planted by Philosophy taught in Schools. Compared to the Correct Philosophy - The Truth Thinking!

Truth means that which is established, eternal, Evidenced. I seek Only the Truth. No additions/subtractions/conjectures/opinions. Reasonable practical questions Must flow from the case itself and no more. that is the beginning of knowledge of the Truth.
You are the one giving the story now not the bible. This is hearsay.
Not afraid of blasphemy for the real person who should complain about blasphemy is a very good person and has said He would deal with it when He Wills.

So you have said nothing worthy of response!
Lol... hearsay? That I'm telling you to use your brain as a thinking faculty that it should be and not nod to whatever story that's not consistent with itself says? huh

Are you that desperate to believe something hopeful that you'll swallow this nonsense?

How did Judas die, did he hang himself or did God strike him down in an open field? grin

The Bible that you're defending like the best thing since sliced bread says both, and believers like you try to patch it up, ignore, downplay it.. grin

God tempts or doesn't tempt? Genesis 22:1 / James 1:13

The fact I want to make clear to you is that it's a flawed religious book, not to be something to base your whole existence on, if you chose to follow it, follow it because its what you want and not for its promises because it's a contradictory mess, if there's any God behind it it must love deception a lot.

sad.
See, like Him, do you not boast with your car/brain/wife/money..., because you trust you would win? Only Winners boast and have boasting Rights! So don't you see that Job was God's Champion? And in the end Job, a human being, beat the Devil? And that God Compensated Job 2ce more than he ever had and lost? Or you refuse to see this part!.
Lol... You have locked your critical thinking and thrown away the key.
So God an omnipotent being has something to boast about to the devil?
So much that God will kill jobs wife, kids, servants and destroy his property to prove to the devil what God already knows the answer to huh

Then gives job new wife and kids? like they are cars that can be replaced. grin

Are you so scared of "blashpemy" that you can't call a spade a spade?

As good as God in the Bible is claimed to be he made a bet with the devil to kill jobs children, servants, etc.. One of many stories that weren't edited out of the Bible in time when the church held a vote of what ought to be in the Bible(Google it)

Freelancing was always the way to make money in Nigeria, the Yahoo boys just came and turned the freelancing market ugly for the rest of us honest Nigerians..

They've given Nigerians online a bad name, it used to be easy to make money in Nigeria online.. you list your goods on ebay, send to buyer and get your money in PayPal..

Apart from your generalization, I don't blame him.. People can't be 100% what they appear to be all the time.. Especially in danger. A so-called prophet stole my money and tried to use thugs to silence me. Luckily I knew his thugs and they dealt with him instead.
I also had an accident, I boarded a bike and fell off it, the bikeman didn't know and one of my foot was stuck in the leg holders... That bike dragged me to a road junction at full speed..

Onlookers were screaming, meanwhile all my mental efforts were on minimizing the damage of what's happening..

I wore thick jeans that day and it contributed to my overall safety, I didn't for once think of any god.. I abandoned that belief a long time ago. Look for the most vile people and you can easily find them hiding in religious garment.

Believers often blank their beliefs from their heads when they want to do bad things.

The twerkings not bad though, got to be honest about that tongue . Nigerians will eventually accept these kinds of things, human biology can throw a fork in you to express yourself effeminately.. Perhaps if everyone slowed down to see what else these people offer we wouldn't be so divisive ourselves(everything divides Nigerians)

It's always the women's fault.
Wooow!!
Lol.. I see what you're getting it.
The first paragraph emphasized the way women(yes women) manipate men into viewing their expectations as the standard.

The same way you said in a thread;

A man shouldn't think of marriage if he doesn't have atleast, 5m in his account.
Wedding expenses and luxury excluded

You've set your preference as an unrealistic standard for "men" to maul over.. most men don't have that, nor even need to to marry.

Same goes for pen!s size, even ladies that can't handle my 7 inches keep screaming for the types they see in porn because it's eye candy..

The porn industry has capitalized on these insecurities.

Word of notice, I'm not going to a$s lick a womans ego and didn't generalize by saying most or some,I presented the fact that women do have unrealistic expectations.. if it's not monetary like in your case it's something else.
RomanceRe: Thread For People With Small Dick by davien(m): 8:23pm On Mar 07, 2019
Since women have decided what men should have to be called men, boys have started trying to live up to their dreams..

Better wake up and love your di©k size, especially the growers who look like 3 inches when flaccid. Confidence is also an asset, it's what makes you make the most of what you have.

Porn and women's unrealistic desires has sadly set the standard to have a pen!s the size of an ox and length of a donkey.

You're right. Nigerians aren't ready for any real and impactful economic, financial and infrastructural challenges. No, not just yet! How can real changes come when people ( the downtrodden ) sell their votes for bread, garri and peanuts? How can meaningful changes happen in Nigeria when the suffering masses keep praising the very people who have saddled them with poverty? How can we possibly progress when elections are publicly rigged with the collaboration of INEC, security operatives charged with maintaining orderliness during election, and paid thugs? We are ready. This is the sad reality, my brother. Let the suffering continue.
Someone was killed during election and a Nigerian commented for his favorite party.

Nigerians are mostly illiterate and hungry, that's the sad but honest truth.. And religion has pushed this over the edge...Our pastors are one of the highest paid in the world. Yet, are our problems being solved?..

The low quality of life have turned our women into auctioneers looking for highest bidders and the youths into unrepentant scammers.. the world knows Nigeria as a scamming centre.

Any leader of Nigeria is a reflection of who Nigerians are.. the youths are not wise enough to rise up, the military isn't bold enough to step up, our courts aren't learned enough to oust those going against the constitution..

The north is an Islamic cabal and the South a Christian belt when our constitution refutes having state religions and laws.

Sowore and other politicians with vision on how to get Nigeria working again were shunned at the just concluded elections. Doesn't that tell you a lot about Nigeria?
Nigerians vote on sentiment.. not logic. And it stems from our poor education sector and media that dumbs down the next generation... you can check nairaland front page to see what's being pushed as "worthy news".

RomanceRe: Women Always Feel Entitled To Things They Don't Own, Why? by davien(m): 7:02pm On Feb 25, 2019
Women dissociate themselves from their actions naturally because they're actually the ones more logical.. not emotional.

They make it seem like they're emotional but thats a show to attract attention/pity..

It takes planning/logic to start an affair and keep it a secret.

She can even plan it with friends and select new underwear to wear to catch a new man.

They want contentment and discipline, features our ancestors used to subdue them.. Now the struggle isn't for food and cowries, it's for money, cars, nice houses, cute rugged face and fvcking skills.. they are free to select but you are meant to discipline their attention to you or drop them.

PoliticsRe: SOWORE 2019: Implication Of N100,000 Minimum Wage For Workers By Lai Brown by davien(m): 1:25am On Feb 21, 2019
idid:
My brother,

N100k ($280) is well deserved by our workers and you should not listen to anyone saying that it will cause inflation.

Such argument will hold water when there are no growth policies to accompany it.

As it is, Sowore has promised growth in tourism, healthcare, education and so on.
Imagine if our citizens do not take the over billion naira per year abroad for medical tourism, that means that our nurses and doctors can be more productive. That is how production works.
Imagine if we do not all rush to Europe and elsewhere for tourism and go to Obudu, Mambila, Argungu. We go an watch Eyo, Egungun and we all troop to Anambra or Enugu New Yam festival. Then we can boost our local leisure, tourism, travel and hospitality industries and attract more people from abroad.

Imagine, if we can pay teachers well so that they don't go abroad in search of opportunities, that means that we can improve the employability of our youths. That is where production depends.

You people get the concept of "Economic Production" wrong.

It is not simply about buying, or purchasing as such. It is about the effect and the multipliers effect as well. It is also about how the community or a society can balance its supply and demand system, not necessarily through production of goods. In modern economics, you should be concerned about the availability and distribution of services.

What are many Middle Eastern countries producing. What is Europe producing. Britain is only distributing services. When last I checked, Inflation was less than 0.30 percent. Britain's manufacturing sector is less than 4 percent of GDP.

So to refer to your example, if a teacher collects 300,000 per month. It doesn't mean that because there are less goods produced in Nigeria, she will use all of her money to pay for her house rent. That is hyper inflation, and that is Mughabe's kind of careless economics.

What I am saying is that, as long as you have a good healthcare, tourism, education, technology, logistics, and SME sector that is thriving. The economy will do just fine. All of that can be achieved in a short time too.

You should ask how Sowore will improve tourism, technology and the SME sector. If he fumbles in those areas, we can then say that N100k minimum wage is wrong. For me, I case if he will turn Nigeria into a tech, SME and service hub of Africa.
Don't you know Nigerians are the best illiterate literates online? Leave them to their ignorance, they'll keep voting with sentiment and refuse to open an ear to logic..

Universal Basic Income is what sowore is getting at.

For the less informed, Google "universal basic income kurzegesat" and watch the video on how increasing wages this way won't lead to inflation... It's money circulation from undertaxed sectors with rules built in preventing transfer of such taxation to consumers/customers.
RomanceRe: Met A Lady Who Wouldn't Date Any Guy If Marriage Isn't Guaranteed After 6 Months by davien(m): 4:37pm On Feb 18, 2019
She's giving you conditions before dating her that'll benefit her only, what conditions will she give you when you've married her?

And since she's given you a time-frame, all she has to do is act nice for 6 months then show you her true self after locking you down.

There's a particular lady I fvck wella who tells nice guys all she wants is love, and yet when they're showing it to her she treats them like poo... Don't fall for those antics, if she were genuine she'd be married already.

Speaking about being literate at all, you are a stark illiterate about what the Bible and both myself depict as a righteous man, for if not you would understand why God said ten righteous men in Sodom would been enough to have saved the land.

And in my own respect, when I would open a thread with the title "a righteous atheist/pagan is better than a wicked christian, then you would know that you have to study the both of us more to become literate in our respect before you start your unfounded and sentimental accusations against us.
Lol, unfounded that Solomon, King David, Moses, etc who are regarded as "righteous men" slaughtered entire villages, kept women and children as slaves and concubines/sex slaves, and never gave a hoot about any tribe besides their own?..

You are just a brainwashed African, go educate yourself.. Mostly on how churches elected what should be in the Bible before spewing ignorant rants. My last post to you.
Christianity EtcRe: Nigeria Does Not Need More Church Buildings, But More Righteous Nigerians by davien(m): 2:19pm On Feb 18, 2019
jesusjnr:
You talk about not being swayed by sentiments and yet this your post is as sentimental as sentiments could possibly get?

For the solution of "righteous persons" is simply disqualified by you because you are swayed by your sentiments and preconceptions that righteous person imply people that believe in God.

Maybe this is when the saying "it begins with you" is justified, as your saying "we need nigerians who are not being swayed by sentiments" should actually "begin with you".

As without sentiments you can see that I am not being swayed by sentimental myself, that's why I can have the guts to say that "Nigeria don't need church buildings", despite being a part of the church, so it something you can learn from me.

For such sentiments and unfounded preconceptions is one of the things that are killing the nation, as people would assume something to be the solution, but it is only a position arrived at by sentiments, but not the truth.

So if you really have the nation's interest at heart, you can't afford to allow sentiments to also becloud your judgment as such.
What sentiments? Are you literate at all? Or lack anything to counter my points?
My point remains that the biblical representation of a righteous man is warring, unethical, racist and injust.
Christianity EtcRe: Is Speaking In Tongue Real? by davien(m): 10:44am On Feb 17, 2019
By the way the Bible described and what you'd witness in Nigeria, no it doesn't exist.. And I don't know how it would have, because the speaking in tongues done in Nigeria is a forced or rehearsed chant of nonsense that holds no information discernable to a learned man and if it were to be the way angels or God speaks, then nobody there would hear the sound of each other's voice as people would talk over each other.

The point of a language is to confer meaning, in human terms, using pitch, sound, and other vocal contractions, we space sounds, strengthen or shorten words to give a deliberate meaning to things, ideas and objects..

If a group of people speaking the same language spoke in one voice they'd speak in unity at once in the same time.. What do you hear when people speak in tongues at once?? Different, chaotic, garbled mess of English alphabets or vowels akin to the speakers speech pattern..
Christianity EtcRe: Nigeria Does Not Need More Church Buildings, But More Righteous Nigerians by davien(m): 10:34am On Feb 17, 2019
You mean righteous people that don't take correction easily, and find it hard to change their minds because they feel God is on their side? No thanks..

We need more honest, hardworking and patroitic Nigerians who aren't swayed by sentiments, geopolitical zones and tribe.

Because if you didn't know, the so-called "righteous men" in the Bible only cared for either their tribe, geopolitical zone and/or persons they liked.
