Ayoku777 How can you say god is both scientific and supernatural when the supernatural is defined as something beyond the natural while occurrences that are viewed with science or are "scientific" are termed natural? Sadly god can't have it both ways as the two are mutually exclusive. |
Touchnot01 is just winner01, another persona to like his own posts alongside kingebukasblog/KingEbukaNaija... |

Hardmirror I tip my hat in respect for replying winner01 and kingebukasblog. I do so mainly because those two have degraded into nothing but bloggers and "like" chasers on nairaland who keep proping up empty topics and liking each others filth even to the extent of creating extra accounts to do so. Rather pet my dog than make a lengthy reply to either one. |
Xiadnat:If you still hold on to that you have a long way to learn. |
The schools have been turned into churches too... lecture theatres become churches after lectures, how do you expect innovation from the next generation when all they've learnt after school the local pastor tells them to forgo and look towards so-called spiritual answers and problems? |
An uncle of mine had a seizure in our family home, my mother was busy praying and sprinkling "anointing oil"(mind you she's a deaconess in church and used to work as a nurse).. NO EFFECT. I and the other family members quickly dashed him to the hospital where he recovered. If prayers were effective, hospitals would have a consultant pastor/imam to heal the desperate ones in need of relief from ailments. IGNORANCE KILLS |
winner01:You aren't making any sense here.. Is it hating god or not believing in god? those are two separate things.. One has to be affirmative about a god to hate it. And atheism being literally "not being affirmative about a god/gods" how then can you hate a god you don't believe exists? Plus the link that binds unbelief to dictatorship-like regimes haven't been established... how I'll tell you. Motivations play a part in decisions.... now how is not believing in any particular god a motivator for evil/detrimental decisions? Not believing offers no answers on its own to replace any standard the particular god favours or rejects and even says nothing on ones next move... it's just a stance on an issue, nothing more nothing less. |
If we can convince ourselves that that fellow we see on the street isn't human, what can't we do and get away with? Stop spreading foolish ideologies that spawn "witch hunts".

winner01:If i may ask, what was stalins goal in his regime? |
No.. even the very jesus that was acclaimed divinity isn't historically known to have resurrected, just a myth that became a religion like every other resurrection myths. |
Moral of story : Backflipping = Jesus is real |
Therefore god! Magic>Egg>Bird |
blueAgent:How does a question like that follow my reply? Nature is the universe.. Pushing for a conclusion that allows the universe to exist is what you're doing, no honest conversation whatsoever. |
felixomor:Nature is but a term used for how the universe operates itself, because the universe lacks any demonstrable entity. She or he isn't relevant to nature.. it's not anthropomorphic, that-is nature isn't bound by human gender nor characters though we humans often regard it as a mother to best describe the way it shrouds everything... living and non-living. Everywhere.. The very definition itself puts nature at every level of existence that can, is and will be known. |
Image123:It's not a fact that people go to hell... facts are demonstrable, stars have been known to follow the fact of nuclear fusion and thus are liable to die when no fuel source can be used in fusion or the creation of a nuclei of iron too heavy for the star to remain in balance. Is going to hell even remotely that precise or demonstrable? or is it the same wishy washy I feel it so it must be true ideology? |
Parallax observations/calculations and the plotting of the movement of all the stars in the milky way enabled the knowledge of how it should look like. For lay people, it's just like using your observation from the top of a hill to draw a map... only backwards. The Earth is your hill, and the stars are way points you keep track of and register their locations and movement, along with the interaction amongst themselves accounted by by gravity... Plot your values in a 3d rendering system and you end up with a 3d galaxy view. |
Image123:The difference is that belief is based on evidence... it's a fact that stars die. |
luisina:Please keep in touch with reality. Salts in the brain control our sleep-wake cycle https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2016/04/160429095142.htm And breathing or more precisely the heartbeats that keep you alive are an involuntary action... so you can't mistakenly forget to breathe while sleeping if that's what you mean by your question. |
soulpeppersoup:I doubt you understand semantics.. You couldn't grasp the fact that your statements aren't what we observe in reality.. including this one. |
soulpeppersoup:So shouldn't children raised by gay couples be gay based on your thinking? ![]() |
Can't allocate or create a new disk for the 500 gb, anyone know how? or please how to convert back the OS to a basic one?. |
Please help I converted my OS partition to dynamic disk and it won't change back, plus I've unallocated a partition that came with it and now 500Gb is unallocated... please help me solve this! * Additional info, laptop came with 300gb for OS partition and 500Gb as a logical partition.... deleted the logical partition, for it to be unallocated, then changed OS from basic to dynamic disk.. SOLUTION : NOT TRYING TO ADVERTISE HERE BUT I GOT A CRACKED VERSION OF AOMEI DISK ASSISTANT AND CHANGED MY ENTIRE VOLUME TO BASIC WHICH RESETTED MY ENTIRE LAPTOP, HAD TO RE-INSTALL WINDOWS AND GET ALL NECESSARY APPS FROM ASUS OFFICIAL SITE AND GOT MY GAMES BACK FROM MY EXTERNAL HARD DISK... MY ENTIRE DISK SPACE IS 1TB NOW. EVERYTHING SOLVED!. |

An extra point to OP You'd be scammed easily ; When you're an over-religious person you give-in to your fears when any negative predicament is sighted and you'd begin to look for the "supernatural solution" or "miracle", prompting you to purchase "miracle cures, elixirs, books.." even at the expense of your life savings. |
I'm of the opinion that life in the universe can and will happen in other worlds provided the conditions are met. As a big fan of sci-fi shows I often wonder what an extraterrestrial would look like and if they're to be "intelligent" would they be in any way similar to us or far off our level of thinking... then again, are there other aspects of being intelligent? You could say an intelligent creature manipulates it's environment to further it's chances of survival, but bacteria and even non-living things do that.. You could say an intelligent creature would possess the capability of decision making but robots and even dna does that without being as "alive" as we want them to be.. Life is weird, it's a mystery and at first glance appears to be a contradiction to the universe, until one understands that the universe works by its own rules which change through the course of time and permit extraordinary things to exist, like life. |
Ioannes:I understand why you'll think that but the husband ain't home most of the time, only housegirl and wife.. |
joey150:I'm not living with them else I'll show her a thing or two.. |
joey150:She's not a relative... we aren't related one bit, she said she needed money so she offered herself up to them as a housegirl.. They gave her biscuits, food, everything and I think that's what led to all this. A housegirl sits down in the parlour, remote clenched in hands and tells you she's not ready to do any work and doesn't know how to mop the floor.. ever heard of that? |
