You may be right. I sent an email and I was told that they still give out dates, but they're sorry for not offering more dates due to limited capacity. I feel they may have halted for a while. This month makes it one year of waiting for more. To be honest, it's been stressful but the stress has reduced now. I've also picked up new skills while waiting so in the long run, one could be grateful while waiting.

There's still hope. Faith and patience is really of the essence in these things.

For those of us still waiting for interview date, if you know you've been invited, it will honestly cost nothing to share with the other hopefuls. Little gestures like this goes a long way giving others hope. I don't see the point of withholding information when we are not your village people. The reason this group was created is to help each other, but it just seems some of us are just like to take without giving.
If you've been given a date, share with the group, it helps.

I heard the embassy have suspended giving out interview date and appointment mail for now. Those who have done their interview already have been waiting for 8 weeks now, no response.

I don't know how true is this.

You don't need a German language proficiency certificate for an English taught course.
What you need is a proficiency of English certificate e.g IELTS

I booked for an appointment date on Aug7,2021.I got a mandatory letter from my school last year November too and sent it to the embassy's email address,later called the embassy, the person that attended to me said there are lots of people sending same letter and it doesn't change anything, that I have to exercise patience. Last wk I also sent a mail with the mandatory presence letter and other necessary documents to the email address shared on this platform but I am yet to receive a response.

Bro I suggest you chill. If you are lucky you might get an appointment by December. Otherwise, you should be expecting something between February and march next year.
Some few November batch are getting their appointment now. So wait for your time and refrain from sending mails to the embassy. You might risk being blacklisted.
