Hi guys. I just got an appointment date for first of April category B. I applied last year June. The problem is that I had already given up on the Germany thing, already started pursuing UK. I don't have admission to any German school. I'm not sure what I should do now.

My mum was denied visa to Germany today. I want to appeal but I'll love input on what can be the cause and the best way to go about it.
My sister's husband invited her, they just had a baby though that wasn't mentioned.
We presented leave letter for 3 months, bank statement, letter of employment, payslips, and letter of introduction by her boss.
We also provided my sister and her husband's marriage certificate, his permit and passport, proof of residence, guarantee form, etc.
I don't understand what could have gone wrong, please I'll appreciate input.

Hello all. I applied for cat B appointment in 2020. Just got a Feb 7th date. This is not convenient. Can I shift it? What are the implications? Admission wey I don run first semester online. And have deferred second semester till Feb 2021. Hoping to defer again to Sept

Deferred and got a new one on the 1/10/2020

Booked for appointment date and canceled several times

Booked appointment again 5th of April 2021

Got a mail for appointment date 19/10/2021

Appointment date 3/11/2021 for 9am

I was at the embassy as early as 6.50am got all documents checked met only few people that day.
My Interview started at 7.45am... Note I did not even know I had started my Interview.
Interview finished at 8am
My passport was retained though I was given the option if I wanted to go back with it.

Got A.M... 6/12/2021
Visum...... 14/12/2021

Spent Christmas with my family got to Germany on 3/01/2022

Calm down, people use sponsorship letter, it is a valid way to move, so don't discourage people from trying out that method. What isn't true is the idea about the city being a factor concerning that option.

I came to Germany on Blocked account. If I had to do again I will opt for Sponsorship letter. Although this depends on your city.

Just a suggestion; it’s cheaper to get a sponsor than do block account. But if you have the funds, you can go ahead.

I know someone who can help you with this. There’s currently no appointment date available but I was able to get one thanks to him. Even though I had to pay for it.
