From the earlier report he isn't being let of the hook. The case preferred against him is that of "sexual harassment" which is a bailable offence. After initial investigation no case of defilement was established and they can't proceed to court now coz the judiciary is on strike or so.

So what's the fuse all about? Why all the unnecessary drama and outpouring of emotion?

IF I claim someone slapped me, when no one was there, I need to prove my case empirically before the other person can be charged for assault or battery.

Donald Trump claimed endlessly that the US 2020 election was rigged. He went to several courts in several states. All the judges, including the one he appointed struck out his cases for lacking merit

We need to understand certain things about this case.

1. Baba Ijesha was not caught in the act of Rape as seen in the video
2. He was seen molesting or inappropriately touching a minor, which on its own is an offense
3. We heard princess saying she raped her 7 years ago
4. All Princess needs to do is to provide evidence and Doctor's reporting to scientifically prove he raped her at age 7
5. The law is clear and not based on sentiment
6. Baba Ijesha may have raped her, but we need to scientifically prove it, otherwise the police can charge him for another offence outside rape
7. Derick Chauvin was sentenced in George Floyd's case for 2 reasons. He was seen in a video, kneeling on George, then after George died, autopsy showed that because of the kneeling, George couldn't breathe and Oxygen didn't flow into his heart, then died. If George had died of other causes, officer Derick may have been charged differently


All princess needed to do then was to immediately report to the police 7 years ago, send the lady to the hospital and tests conducted.

The case is not the words of Baba Ijesha and the young lady, with no single witness or video of 7 years ago.

2021 video only shows inappropriate behavior and not rape

I don't like this kind of behavior. You already took him to court, let the court decide. I will never support sexual molestation, but this people need to know the world doesn't run on their tears.

If you read the press release by the police earlier today, its clear Baba ijesha would be released. It may not be because he did or didn't do it, but according to law, there is no empirical evidence to medically prove this.

Only bought one generator in Nigeria in the last 20 years and that only as a courtesy to my dads friend that was into generator sales , in that period must have bought close to 15 , some as big as 1375kva , the reason is obvious

What's lacking is the knowledge about things, if not Nigerians would not be paying as much as we're paying for items.

The 10 lights that I bought for $21 which a Nigerian advertising 1 of it for ₦10,000 is more than enough of things not right in our market.

When we Nigerians stop buying expensive things and start importing, the sellers would be forced to drop their prices.

I hope you all understand they are not shipping to you the same quality as the other parts of the world once they know the shipping destination, especially Nigeria. This is due to the failure of our agencies and regulators, it is our people that always request for substandard products to maximize their profit. From experience most of these giant manufactures in china don't even take less than 100 pieces in most of their orders, and if they do they charge you extra fee. Aliexpress are the one that deal with retail and their shipments could take forever, even their prices is not as cheap as Alibaba.

Close (if not more) to 50% of world supplies come from China.

They have standard and what most importers to Nigeria do is to tell manufacturers the standard they want. So if you see fake items from China, it's the standard requested that was produced

There are some merchants on Alibaba that sell in small quantities. Yes AliExpress is the retail market, while Alibaba is for wholesalers. Hence, for building projects that you need items in Large items for, you can buy through Alibaba and for smaller quantities, you can use Ali Express.

Also, AliExpress don't take forever to ship. One or two merchants can delay, but over 50% of them keep to time.

In the last 5 years, I've had the opportunity of buying items myself from over 6 countries and I can tell you they have original items and less original.

Truth be told, China is a blessing to Nigerians.

When you go to Mushin or Orílè and people tell this door is from Turkey, it's a lie. It's from China, but the design is what they use in Turkey, hence they call is 'Turkey door'

The difference is much but it may not be greed. It may be as a result of cost of sale. The seller is carrying a lot of cost you are not carrying.

From your figures, you got your dollar at N420. We are not sure how much the seller got his/her dollar.

Your price does not include shipping/clearing cost. The seller's sale price will include this.

Your price does not include warehousing cost. The seller will carry this cost.

Your price does not include the cost of sale on Jumai. The seller will carry this cost.

You will not carry logistics/delivery cost but the seller will probably carry some cost.

My brother, the cost of running a business in Nigeria is very high. The final sale price most times is as a result of the cost of doing business in Nigeria and may not be greed.

Let's assume the highest shipping cost per kg is ₦5,500(which is still high compared to what I pay), this gives us ₦11,000.

Cost of 10 lights is ₦8,400
+
Cost of shipping 10 lights to Ajao Estate Lagos is ₦11,000
+
Transportation from my office to pick it up is ₦2000

Total: ₦2000+₦11,000+₦8400= ₦21,400

Let's add profit margin of 50% of cost = ₦17,200

Profit + Cost= selling price
₦17,200 + ₦21,400= ₦38,600

₦38,600/10 items
Each item should be ₦3,860.

Let's just even increase everything, this takes us to ₦5,000 per unit.

At ₦5,000 per unit he's making over 50% as profit.

₦10,000 per item is greed
