Hello mama. When you say cramps, do you mean like menstrual cramps? Have you been drinking water to keep yourself hydrated? Are you excessively stressed?

Please try to take things easy and go to the hospital if it persists. You and baby are safe in Jesus name

Me, i dey seriously waddle. Baby has located a nice spot inside the Vj and is just rocking the place. I dey hear am well.
Doc says I am measuring almost 30wks when i just clocked 27wks few days back.
Plus say i no dey fit sleep complete again . Once 1am don dey reach, my eye go just open and to sleep back, wahala.
In all sha, i still Thank God . He will see everyone through and grant those seeking ,the grace to experience this too.

@hapiness44, sorry for the loss. May the Lord strengthen you and give you reason to testify .

Present Cappo. Not bought a pin and feeling a little guilty that i am not as pumped and "gingered " like i was in my 2 previous pregnancies. Baby biko, no vex.
Maybe my mind is still in denial meanwhile belle is increasingly popping out daily. Hopefully i will snap out of it soon.

Cappo Cappo happy new month! My edd is 3rd by lmp but scan gave me 6th and 9th.

I tried checking sex last week but sonographer couldn't see it. Me I'm suspecting girl sha, cos that's how my first born kept hiding till I put to bed. They say na girl dey hide bumbum pass. Just put XX for me.

Please teamies, am I the only one not feeling kicks yet? I refuse to be worried sha. And again, I peeped my scan result and saw AFI (amniotic fluid) as 5.20, meanwhile google said AFI of less than 5 is oligohydraminos (abi wetin dem dey call am)?
My doc didn't say anything but I kinda have been worried cos in my first, even though I opted for cs, the doc was surprised that my fluid had dried totally by the time they cut me open. I intend trying vbac and this low amniotic fluid worries me. I didn't even find anything meaningful on how to increase the fluid. I try to drink water like a fish but I only end up with plentious bathroom breaks.

Abeg I don dey talk too much, but make una follow me chook mouth on top this matter o. What can I do? What do I need to do? I have another matter but lemme finish with this one first

Teamie, no be only you. I am also not feeling kicks yet. As long as baby is fine, no wahala. For the amniotic fluid, i think you are doing the best you can by drinking more water.

Belle is just bigging everyday one starts to wonder how February/March will be . Waka don even change. Small kenkele food person go chop, stomach will tight /full. Infact, i have questioned myself severally if i am sure my LMP was really correct

We lost our precious little one few days ago. Premature rupture of membrane at 21wks. My heart is so broken that I can feel it in my chest. But God is my strength.

We don plenty sha. July/Aug was a busy month

Dear glowing mummies, Good afternoon. I hope you all are bumping well.

Please I beg put mouth in this my matter. I'm 18 weeks.

Went to see the Dr this morning. After every every, we did scan and I saw my LO. I'm always happy doing scan because I enjoy the view.

Then Dr decided to do a transvaginal scan to check the cervix length. We then saw that the middle of the cervix was open, like a canal and with fluid. Yes the inner and the outer parts were closed but the middle was open. Even the Dr was confused. He said the liquid might drain and the cervix might close but he can't trust it as it might open again. So he's suggesting a cerclage. I felt so bad because he checked the cervix about 5 weeks ago and it was ok.

I was just crying like a baby. I don't know what to make out of this. I feel so down. Hubby travelled and I haven't told him yet. I'm so heartbroken. I was just rocking my bump a few days ago now this?

Please has anyone had such an experience? What could have caused it? Maybe it's the hormones but I can't stop crying

Teamie, no cry abeg. I think a cerclage is just preventive and for the safety of the baby . You can still rock your bump wella.

So... I went 2 d clinic yesterday n was asking questions about how dey do deir delivery.... I asked wat kinda pain relief medicine do dey administer during delivery n wat test do dey conduct b4 goin in2 labour 4 both safety of d baby nt gettin any type of infectn frm d mother ... D doctor hv 2 tell me dt dey dont giv pain relief medicine except d patient request 4 it (sabi mamas, is dis tru?! Do u request 4 pain killer medicine or dey give it to u without request?)....d doc also said dey dont do any test in b4 labour, dt dey ve done all d necessary test dey need wen i registered 4 my antenantal.... n i read frm google dt strep B test shld b conducted so dt protection can b giving 2 d baby during delivery... Does any1 knw abt dis strep B test?! Abi una just deliver straight 2 labour room wen in labour wit no test at all... Pls help me understand.

To the best of my knowledge, many naija hospitals dont conduct strep B test. It was in an obodo oyibo hospital during my 2nd preg that i heard of it for the first time. Nothing like that in my first.(private hospital in Lagos)

As for pain meds, you really have to ask. Or just kukuma find out about epidural if you feel your pain threshold is low. Cos most pain relief dont do much for labour pain.

Bottomline try not to worry so much. Your body was made to do this

Thanks for the response ma, I've not said I wanna sue the bank, my anger with the bank is that I haven't been formally notified of the reasons for the freeze, right now we don't know how to go about it, After carrying out my underground check, First customer care, it's the issue of account update, the next said, its KYC and later said the order is from Ondo Police force, the last who helped checked said its from the Efcc, if u were in my shoes how would you have tackled the case?, that's what prompted the lawyer to write them to know reasons for the freeze but it has been left unattended to, I can't just call the guys at Ondo if we don't have the correct details on why their's a freeze placed on the account, hope you do understand me?

Ok I get. I thought they had informed you about the reason behind the freeze. Go back to the bank and ask to speak with the Branch Head . Use your belle to pull emotional strings. Insist on knowing exactly the unit that did it and their address( you are entitled to have that info). They may not give you the reason the freeze was placed or who put it, but they should tell you where to go to get answers.

Hopefully it is resolved soon. Pale.

Hello mama, I understand the frustration you are experiencing now but to be honest, You can't sue the bank.

The bank, under law, has an obligation to obey any instruction as far as it is from a law enforcement agency e.g. NDLEA, EFCC, NPF, Courts etc without contacting you first. The best they can do is to inform you where the order came from and you or your lawyer have to go sort it out . Ideally, rhe freeze can only be lifted when a counter instruction is received from the agency.

Like earlier suggested, Please contact the other party who most likely initiated the complaint and try to reach some form of resolution. Your lawyer can do the negotiations. Once that is done, the agency can be contacted and they in turn will instruct the bank to lift it.

You can introduce formula . The more a baby eats and poops , the better, as he gets to excrete the high bilirubin that causes jaundice.

Pls keep putting him to the breast also. The milk will come in.

1. Golden Cross Infirmary ( 22 Road) . I used them for my first baby and have been with dem for 18yrs . Power has recently changed hands sha so d really good old hands are no longer there.

2. Mother & Child (MCC) .1st Avenue .. Govt owned. Heard they are good but have also heard some not so good story in the mix.

3. Sabo crown hospital: 7th Avenue. Many of my colleagues use them and have good things to say about them

4. Emel hospital (21 road) : relatively big hospital. people say they have good paediatricians.

My son isn't eating at all. This is so unlike him. This is a boy that eat any food you serve him. Am evens surprised he refused cerelac. What he likes now is just water. Any other thing I force him.

What could be wrong? Am so worried.

You could check if his tonsils are inflamed/ enlarged. From my experience with my kids, more often than not, they tend to refuse food and favour liquids (water, ribena etc) when the tonsils are enlarged.

It might not be the case here but I think your doc should check him to rule that out. Stay strong mama. He 'll bouce back.

I dunno if one can say a particular bank is "best" because different banks have incentives they give on accounts opened for children. Depends on what you want.
As for documentation for children born abroad, you have to submit the child's birth certificate issued when he/she was born and a passport photo. That is what I used.
