I went to a market here in Mainland to buy egusi(melon) , beans and other food stuffs , only for me to figure out that the prices are extremely high .

I was disappointed with everything I bought after comparing them with what I used to buy in Kano town , not even the villages .

Guys please I don't know what to do. If this hadn't happen to me, I used to think most of the stories on this romance section are fictions, so I don't concern myself with it.

My best friend Femi has a fiancee, they've been dating since our second year in school. That was in 2016. let's say the girl's name is Muna. I mean they were really in love with each other. The message reads "Are you sure you don't have someone you are fucking already?". When I saw the message, It was from a contact saved as "Blessing". I was like"so, uncle and his babe like doing bad thing . Bad shildren everywia, anyways, don't lemme intrude, it's only normal to respect people's privacy" . But as I was about to close the chat. Do you guys know that small round circle that displays people's DP in the conversation screen? yeah! I saw a picture that looks familiar.

So I clicked on it, and I saw the picture"live and direct " . This is Muna, Femi's fiancee. So I thought, maybe it's one of her friends or her sister using her for dp. I do that too, I even use random funny people.
But something pushed me to pick my phone, I checked Muna's number, lo and behold brethren, It was Muna o, in flesh and blood. You know sometimes, when you have a huge respect for people, you help them find excuse for their Bleep ups. Again I said, maybe big bros was lying. he might be crushing on the girl and the girl might just put him on the side.
As I was on her WhatsApp profile page on my bro's phone(that my cousin wey I dey call "egbon".
I saw that they've shared plenty media files, pictures and videos. From the thumbnails, I saw a pic that caught my attention so I clicked on it. Guys you wouldn't believe. I saw penis, penis o, which I believed was my bros own. Ha! what is this? It was really disgusting. But because of time , I couldn't afford to view more pictures. Once it went thru, I deleted it on his own phone, from his own chat(I didn't delete for everyone) so I still have it in my own chat with him. Then I downloaded it, went into my WhatsApp folder, moved it from there and I extracted it into another hidden folder.I went back to delete it on my own chat screen. I later finished up with the Instagram thing and I returned his phone.

Now I went into the folder I extracted the chats into and I saw lots of videos and VNs. I connected my earbuds and I was listening to the VNs. It was really her voice. But when I went thru the chats. literally they've been dating since 2019 or so. They did lots of sex chats and shared nudes, most of the nudes have been deleted, and the remaining ones don't show either of their faces. Just from the shoulder downward.But one thing I've noticed is, whenever they were about to share their nonsense. My bros would always request she put on one particular customized waist bead that he gave her. My other cousin, I mean that big bros younger sister is into all this bead thing and he mentioned it in their chat that he told his sister to do a customized one. The bead has my bros name on it.

A man asked my dad to bring an undisclosed amount of money for a lecturing connections in one of the Federal Polytechnics in the South - I would not disclose the school.

For context, I went with my father to the Polytechnic that day and the man is, as perceived, one of the big shots in the school. Maybe the Dean or something - I don't know the hierarchy strata of Polytechnics

But the problem is, the man made it clear to us that certain courses would have to be accredited first. and then when the courses have been successfully accredited, they would push my name for final screening and final employment. He made it clear though that the final decision is not his.

I didn't object there, but later having thought about it, I saw all shades of wrong in the man's statement and would appreciate your input. I used to think that you first get your teachers ready, on ground, in addition to the other demands you might be required to meet in the accreditation process. I don't think it is accreditation first then lecturers, it should be lecturers and other things in the accreditation process. After all, what is an accreditation? Is it not an exercise to verify that you are up to the task and can deliver academically? Or am I wrong?

I have not told my father that I think he's getting scammed and should count me out. I made it clear to him several times that employees in government institutions do not hire or even have the ability, but he has rebuffed me several times claiming that a university registrar (or an equivalent in a Polytechnic) does, or at least forwards the names for final employment. You don't get job connecting with people at employee level especially in government institutions. If they have the connect or are able to do it themselves, then they themselves wouldn't be working there, or am I wrong? I would appreciate your input.
