[quote author=Dannyset post=39024758]I don't do Saraki, but I can also tell you he is brainy, I was making a comparative analysis Bro, or don't you remember how Saraki tried to play to the gallery while in the CCB "dock" by saying that he was an elected Senate president and was being a victim of a witch hunt in an attempt to deflect the false asset declaration charge. Abeg Fashola and Saraki no dey the same category joor! |

Politics › Re: 2015 Elections: Where Are The Prophets? by Day169: 8:02am On Oct 09, 2015 |
Where are the prophets? Gone with the wind I'd say. In a study which revealed that 1 in 10 people in Nigeria has a predisposition to psychiatric problems, and against a backdrop of pervasive hunger and dehumanised living, with an inordinate desire for lucre, what would it take a felon to assume the right of a seer or prophet. The wind of change has blown and they've moved on to other pasture. |

Insightful and thought provoking! I agree with you but not entirely. Back in those days, there were were many people with no "future ambition", lay abouts, beer parlour majors with attendant aberrant traits, some of whom have become political leaders today. Presently, there are young bright minds who have great lofty dreams, who have skills in leadership and are mentored by great role models and also aspire to be political leaders tomorrow. These are the ones who must be nurtured and aided via the establishment of strong political institutions and legal establishment. It is my hope that beyond our present fears and Skeptism, Nigeria will turn out to be the nation of our dreams. |
