The point was Finidi was playing in Ajax which was stronger than any English team, Real Madrid, Barcelona at that point and he played for one of the best 3 teams in Europe of that era and was a regular for them. Finidis Ajax at their peak whooped Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borrousia Dortmund and AC Milan effortlessly |
Goes back to what I said, You cant judge peoples age accurately by looks alone. Some 30yr olds look 20 and vice versa |
Correct guy, We are now talking. Not all these long English, So who buys what again, V3 has led the way |
jalether:Exactly just the way Gerd Muller was more respected than any striker of his generation due to his World cup goals, Fontaine was remembered for years, and almost everyone cant remember who the other strikers in Europe around 1958 were but everyone remembers Fontaine 50yrs later we all talk about Fontaine, Who remembers the CL, Bundesliga, Serie A and La Liga top scorers in 1958? |
Thanks a lot every one for the wishes but besides the wishes, I am waiting for my gifts Kuli-kuli, recharge cards, chin-gum or even Alomo Bitters would do |
. |
Sagamite this Portuguese player just signed by Man Utd, Does he look 20?
|
Ajax played 2 back to back Champions league finals in that time no English club could achieve that. In the mid 90's Ajax, AC Milan and Juventus are the top clubs in Europe |
If Sagamite see the guy he would say he is older than 20 |
See wetin trophylessness dey cause. When I say trophylessness brings delusion una go dey make noise, Se as duduspace felt Silvestre was Nesta incarnate. and Nasri is Messi |
manny4life:Just a guess Lemme guess your, you are in Virginia |
dawgpound is not bkbabe. Bkbabe is in New York while Dawgpound is in Houston TX |
Yessssssssssss |
duduspace:This statement puts the M in moronic. Oshea is also more decorated than Fabregas. Because Silvestre has won more medal as a sub means he is up to 5%? |
Everyday of the week including weekends |
Me too as long as the Party is in Dallas |
Another example is David bentley Who was described as The 25-year-old strikes a nice connection, and whips in an inviting cross now and then, but what else can he do? He can’t dribble, he has limited pace, strength or physical attributes, he rarely scores, and he is mentally vulnerable. In two seasons at White Hart Lane, Bentley has made just 37 league appearances, many of them as substitute, with just three goals and four assists. http://www.goal.com/en/news/2377/top-10/2010/08/10/2064072/top-10-ridiculously-overpriced-british-players-of-all-time |
A signing that shows what a genius Arsene Wenger is at spotting talents that same way he saw the talents in Silvestre 1) FRANCIS JEFFERS Everton to Arsenal - £8 million (2001) Arsene Wenger has earned this infamous tag as someone who is very taut with his money. Perhaps this is not surprising when you consider his market failures from 2001 where he spent £16.5m on Francis Jeffers and Giovani van Bronckhorst. The former was undoubtedly the biggest transfer flop of Wenger’s Gunners reign. The skinny Scouser, 20 at the time, had only scored 18 goals in 49 games for Everton but somehow warranted an £8m fee despite non-existent technical and physical skills. He was tagged by some as the English version to Italy legend Pippo Inzaghi, a “fox in the box”, but was way out of his depth at Highbury. Hit the back of the net just four times in 22 appearances during two years before being loaned out and eventually sold. Has struggled with smaller teams ever since, and at 29 he is currently without a club. |
Also World fastest man Usain Bolt came to Munich to visit Bayern team doctor Wolfhart Muller who is reputed to be one of the top sport doctors in the whole world |
How can anyone trust a GAYYner to think rationally? In other news, TZ reports that Matt Hummels wants to come back to Bayern. This is one guy I would sign in a heartbeat and off load Van Buyten, he was one of the top 4 defenders in the Bundesliga last season Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels would jump at a second chance to succeed at Bayern Munich.http://www.goal.com/en/news/15/germany/2010/08/11/2065758/borussia-dortmunds-mats-hummels-eyeing-bayern-munich-return |
Delusion is an integral part of being a GAYYner, Imagine someone saying Silvestre looked decent |
