My dear DK, learn to compare apple with apple and not orange, the PL is different from Bundesliga. Everyone knows you cannot win with youth alone, Cesc is a winner any day but if a distorted market hampers your ability to compete on the financial front, there is not much anyone can do. With what Arsenal have had to do, Arsene has done a damned good job. Even the English press know this and some of them in their more reflective moments acknowledge it.
True enough he needs to win really soon to cement his legacy but only a gooner who cannot reflect deeply enough will belittle what Arsene has done for the club.
Whats the difference? How come Bayern youths can play the CL finals,

Shake the World at the World cup yet none of wengers 5yr experimental products have done anything noteworthy.

Are you banking on Ofobe, Wilshere and eastmond turning to Messi, Iniesta and Xavi in their lifetime?

While I can already see Muller, Kroos, Lahm and Schweinsteiger all from the Bayern academy either already world class or to turn world class soon.

The Jury is out on Alaba, Contento and Badstuber too

Show us the products of this academy of 5yrs who are worth mentioning and the sole reason for your unending trophylessness

You're being a half wit again.
Regardless of the lack of trophies, Wenger's time at Arsenal has been not only the most successful, but the most consistent. If nothing else, his ability to deliver CL football year on year, with apparently meagre expenditure to boot cannot be matched. The growth of the club brand worldwide since his time at the club is a fantastic achievement.
That said, it is not sufficient for all fans but is definitely satisfying for many. Many would like to see more success and statements of intent.
Which brings us to what we have always known Goals and aspirations of clubs differ. While you are celebrating playing CL football every season despite not winning trophies, Other clubs that goes trophyless for a yr alone calls in the riot police.

So most successful to an Arsenal fan now means everything apart from winning trophies, What a shame.

Consistent? Aston Villa has been consistently mid table, Bolton have been consistently towards lower half of table, Arsenal has been consistently without a trophy, Something to celebrate

If not for the calamitous injury run at the end of last season, AW would've gotten closer to the title. That would simply have served to reinforce his belief that his methods can work, and if/when it does, it will be the most satisfying league victory of all.
If not, If not, If not, Which club doesnt suffer from injuries? Can any club go through a competition and not get bothered by injuries, Wrong ref decisions, ill-luck or whatever?

Man Utd would tell you if Not that Wayne Rooney who was in rich vein of form got injured, They would have won everything, Chelsea had Essien injured, Liverpool had Torres injured

Those 2 are more probably the most important players at their clubs too.

Its like a student complaining that "If not that exams are hard I would have been the best",

That is what worries me - if last season was a fluke (i.e. we only got close because the others were so bad) then this season might turn out to be awful for the club. If it does, AW might pack his bags and leave, and what then?
The same hope you have had for years. When Wenger came in Arsenal was a top club in England, Later he made them one of the top contender, Now last 5 yrs, No trophy to show. Whats the excuse? Youth development? Who are the youths? Ofobe, Wilshere, Eastmond? Are those players?

I watched an Arsenal game in 2003 where Arsenal featured youths vs Man Utd in a Carling cup game and lost 1-0. The excuse of 2005 was that he was breeding youths, 5 yrs  later he is still breeding youths, Do those youths ever grow?

Bayern has in their lineup Lahm, Schweini, Muller, Badstuber, Contento( soon Kroos) who were from the youth team. Muller a 20yr old was best young player at the WC and highest goal scorer Amongst all the youth players at the World cup which one came from Arsenal thats worthy of being mentioned

I hope he is secretly trying to bring in the talent we need to truly challenge this year. If he does that, I won't begrudge him even if he fails to win. The key here is to make a statement of intent, and not just hope others are so bad that you can sneak by to win the title.
I think he needs to win the league this season. After this season the club wont be taken seriously again. When Chelsea came around, Man Utd still found a way to lay down the law.

Last season, Chelsea was not at their best but still won the double. 5yrs is just too long  for a club to be barren

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Bayern Munich Fans by dayokanu(op): 5:37pm On Aug 09, 2010
Bayern Munich have refused to allow Franck Ribery to attend a meeting with the French Football Federation in Paris about the country's World Cup debacle.

Ribery, along with the other 22 members of the France squad in South Africa, is serving a one-match FA suspension for Wednesday's international friendly in Norway and will not be travelling to Oslo for the game.

Now he has been summoned to Paris for the hearing as the reasons for the France squad's embarrassing performances and behaviour, including their refusal to train ahead of the final group game against hosts South Africa, are investigated.

Bayern insist any request for the player to travel will be denied and he will continue to train with the club ahead of their Bundesliga opener against Vfl Wolfsburg on August 20.

"It is not on that the French Federation randomly remove Franck Ribery from his responsibilities with FC Bayern,'' said Bayern's chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge in a press release. "The preparations for the new Bundesliga season have priority over the World Cup debriefing of the French Federation.''

Bayern claim that Ribery's invitation, or "summons'' has "not been made in agreement with FC Bayern''.

"According to FIFA statutes, clubs must only release their players for fixed dates as laid out by the international football calendar, and that is not the case here,'' continued the statement. "For this reason, FC Bayern Munich will not release Frank Ribery for this hearing.''
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=812938&sec=europe&cc=5901

Why would the French FA be doing their best to spoil our pre season practice? They had the whole of July after the world cup to do their quizzing or whatever now about 2 weeks to start of season when preparations are in top gear they send for Ribery to come appear before some panel

But have you noticed that the man Adeboye is the only and First Nigerian to make that list, and if you read the source, you will find out the reasons why he was chosen to be on that list compared to osama's.

Clap for your brother, it is not easy oh! hope to see you there too and for the right reasons.
Yeah the main reason Adeboye is there was because he was the first human to drive 200miles on an empty tank. At that rate, If he can commercialize it, We wiould achieve a cleaner environment, No need to use Petrol and Oil prices would drop.

People like Pras and Sean Penn who are whinning that Wyclef is not qualified to be President of Haiti should realise one thing: You do not need to be a technocrat to run a country. All you need is competent advisers. That's what Schwarznegger did as Governor of California. It worked very well in the early years but then California turned out to be too deep in debt.
Good you know Schwarzenegger has ran California into debt.

Even Liberia didnt vote George Weah who spent a lot rehabilitating his country after the war
