Claimed a player who left over 4 yrs ago and a player yet to arrive

Then I can conviniently claim, Klose, Podolski(who left 2 yrs ago), Muller and even Ozil who is coming next season

Sagamite,

When a team is playing with a numerical disadvantage Most times(70% of the time) they lose. Osaze had to cover that part of the field where Kaita was and tired easily.

The only person who plays somehow similar to Osaze is Obasi that was why he was introduced

Or was it Lagerbacks fault that Kaita decided to lash out at an opponent in a game we were conviniently cruising.

Mikeansy, I am not sure you are a football follower. When Man utd played Bayern they lost largely due to a red card bagged.

For this reason we can say Ferguson is an id-iot

We do not need anymore foreign coaches.

Why should Africans choose foreign coaches instead of coaches in Nigeria? It doesn't make sense.

I think many Africans have an inferiority complex.
In this world cup, England, Switzerland and Greece have foreign coaches, So we can say they have inferiority complexes too.

In the recent past, Turkey, Russia, Korea, Japan, Portugal, Australia all had foreign coaches

In most cases when a team goes down to 10 men, they lose

AT least 7 out of 10 times especially when the match was still in the first half unless the trailing team are so talented defensively
Sports › Re: World Cup Group A: France Vs Mexico (0 - 2) On Thursaday 17 June 2010 by dayokanu(m): 9:56pm On Jun 17, 2010

what did your largeback do to defend the 1-0 goal advantage? did he make any tactical subs when Kaita got a red card? would it have been helpful to sub one of the attack minded players for Ayila to close he midfield? What did Lagerback do to justify his mega wage in this match?
Mourinho defended 10 mmen against Barcelona in Camp Nou why cant Lagerback defend our 1 goal or at least have a maximum of 1 -1 in South Africa against a hopeless greek team?
The most respected coach in Europe is probably Ferguson, What did he do when Rafael got a red card vs Bayern in the second half, He lost Not to talk of Nigeria who got a red card in the first half

and so the circus continues. next 4 years will be the same story:

local coach qualifies the national team, then last minute a foreign coach appears on the scene.
he picks players based on the local coach's established criteria, collects 6 months salary upfront,
goes to the world cup, loses all three matches and absconds from there.

when will we ever learn as a nation?
From your statement, It seems this has happened before, Now can you tel us when "local coach qualifies the national team, then last minute a foreign coach appears on the scene.
he picks players based on the local coach's established criteria, collects 6 months salary upfront,
goes to the world cup, loses all three matches and absconds from there
".

I am awaiting examples of this scenario

Some of those countries won a trophy in my liftime

Spain won 2 years ago.

The world cup England claim was the only controversial world cup where the ball didnt even cross the goal line but was counted.

How is that for PDP
Sports › Re: England Vs USA: [1 - 1] On Saturday June 12, 2010 by dayokanu(m): 6:22pm On Jun 17, 2010
Which fact?

The only fact that count is the England is useless as they come, They cant even make a final in 44 yrs,

How old were you in 1966?
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Greece: [1 - 2] On June 17, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 6:21pm On Jun 17, 2010
but can we beat Korea?
what do u think of that miss by Obasi?
now i believe some of our players have offended the gods of their villages

why should it be our players that will be missing such opportunities
Maicon scored a goal that was not meant to enter the net. just a simple tap in for us, the ball flew to the other side

i don tire abeg

That Kaita boi na oloshi and why didnt martins play?
We can beat Korea if things work well for us, Greece was our best chance, Now Korea needs just a draw while we need a win which is not the best situation for us.

I didnt watch the second half I was like an hour late to work self. I believe Luck favours the brave.

Against korea we have to be careful, If we go gung ho, they would counter us mercilessly, I didnt see Obasis miss, Its good that kaita has ruled himself out so Etuhu and Haruna plus 2 wingers, Osaze and Uche then Martins and Yakubu in attack

What substantial thing have you done or won in all the useless years you have been on this earth?
^^ Obviously I have done a lot more in the last one year than all you have in the last 1000yrs  grin grin grin grin

You create the game yet you are one of the worst at it, Who cares if you create fuckever? Greece philosophers and scientists created a lot of things but where are they today.

England should be on the same level with Greece, No Greece is better, They won the Euros in 2004 something England can never achieve

Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Greece: [1 - 2] On June 17, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 6:05pm On Jun 17, 2010
No
Nigeria are on -2
Greece are on -1

If Greece lose by a goal margin, they go down to -2
if we win by a goal margin, we go up to -1

u confused?
You are right. I forgot Greece lost by a 2 goal margin

Argentina 3points +4
Greece 3 points -1
Korea 3 points -1
Nigeria 0points -2.

Any win qualifies us as long as Greece loses

Even a cripple can do all those?

WHo cares if they invented the game if they cant win any meaningful trophy in 44yrs, if they always get their arse handed to them everytime.

44 freaking years, Then Obama was in diapers, I have never seen a national team more useless than England
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Greece: [1 - 2] On June 17, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 5:50pm On Jun 17, 2010
t mind them drop outs
Argentina woudnt need to beat Greece wella
1-0 victory will bring down Greece to -2 while any victory will take us to -1 at least with Korea moving to -3
A one goal margin victory might not be good enough for us if we also win by a goal margin, Both Nigeria and greece would be on -1 and head to head knocks us out,
First thing do the part under our control i.e Beat Korea
Foreign Affairs › Re: Bp Oil Spill: America Going Too Far? by dayokanu(m): 5:48pm On Jun 17, 2010
Does BP have a choice but to cooperate? This is America and not Nigeria who they can mess with anyhow. .

hayward had better cooperate. Who cares if they dont pay dividend for the next 100yrs
Sports › Re: Nigeria Vs Greece: [1 - 2] On June 17, 2010 @ World Cup by dayokanu(m): 5:43pm On Jun 17, 2010
IS IS HOW NIGERIA CAN QUALIFY

FIRSTLY WIN AGAINST SOUTH KOREA.

SECONDLY HOPE GREECE LOSES TO ARGENTINA.

THATS NOT EVEN ALL.

ARGENTINA         6PTS     +4GD

SOUTH KOREA     3PTS     -1GD

GREECE               3PTS      -1GD

NIGERIA                 ?          -2GD
Maths is your problem

Argentina 6 points  +4
Korea  3 points -2
Greece 3 points -
Nigeria 0 points -2.

Any win takes Nigeria to 3 points and at least -1, If Argentina beats Greece wella and we win any way, we are through
Sports › Re: Why Are Some Nigerians Self-haters? by dayokanu(m): 5:38pm On Jun 17, 2010
If we remove Enyeama agaist Argentina we would have lost by 6-0, If we remove the Korean Keeper vs Argentina they would have lost by 13-1
Sports › Re: England Vs USA: [1 - 1] On Saturday June 12, 2010 by dayokanu(m): 5:33pm On Jun 17, 2010
There is nothing unrealistic about England winning the world cup. It is not like the Aborigines (no offence to Aborigines) are contesting the cup. They created football and have won the title before, albeit 44 years ago and have even gotten through to the final stages of the game in the 1990s. If the English can not get excited and passionate about the very game that they created which happens to be the most popular game in the world then no one else will.

Anyway as Sauron said you and A-40 seem to have serious hard -ons for anything English or British in general and I think it is quite pathetic. Why don't you concentrate on your own countries chances of winning instead of bashing Britain any chance you get?
Patriotism aside what makes you think England knows how to kick the ball? If you follow football wella, You would know that England failed to qualify for the last Euro Cup, and even USA 1994, No country worth its onions miss two major tournaments in 14years. That must mean they are no better than the Aborigines.

England's chances of winning world cup must be on the same level as Daddy Showkey winning Grammy grin grin grin grin grin.

Nigeria is at least modest with their expectations but if England can do same and agree that they are a 3rd rated footblling nation at par with Czech, Croatia, Denmark, Russia and Bulgaria then we won have any issue

Kaita has made this tie more difficult now.
Our only hope is to provoke their player who's on YELLOW card and make him cop RED.

What kinda of animal is this KEITA?
Useless slowpoke who should be locked up immediately
Rehhagel is too smart, He removed him already

Lukman clears off the line.

We are under the cosh

Now Greece brings in another attacker, remove the man on a yellow card smart coaching
