Voting has always been in line with the wishes of the host community.

If not how come the voting pattern of Lagos state with the huge Ibo population has always been pro SW. We are yet to even get an Ibo deputy governor.

The NW might not be homogenously Hausa Fulani. Consider places like Kaduna, Niger

So its your own junk that should be believed?

An article which dates back like 40yrs written by a foreigner who shouldnt be biased and even posted on an Ibo site?

Well FYI Adekunke was named the most important man in the Nigerian war. You can give that award to anyone even Daddy Showkey or runaway Ojukwu

So where did you get your facts fromhuh
Did I write anything about pastor Bakare? The only thing I wrote about bakare was that he led the SNG to fight for GEJ's freedom from Thuraya's kitchen where he was helping with palm oil, maggi and salt.

Or is it only ppl that know Bakare that can tell you about the facts of Buhari?

Sure. I agree. No group has the monopoly of good or bad.

For every Ifeajuna and co there is an Adekunle somewhere who can settle the scores.

Sure man is intrinsically evil but when an avenue comes for you to unleash your evil deeds then you would be surprised at what you can do.

Reindeer, If you think you are calm and next thing some guys come into your compound and kill the compound leader and r@pe women.

I am sure if you lay your hands on a gun you would do worse than the despots we know

I have never been to Pastor Bakares church before. If you give me a photo line up without any clue, I wont even recognise him. But I followed his struggle to wrest power from Turai and hand it over to GEJ when the mumu in Aso rock was wearing apron in Turais kitchen

It is very shameful you stayed awake with empty claims of Benjamin Adekunle schooling anybody during the war. Those who fought alongside or faced him in the battle have repeatedly said the GOC of 3MCDO was a loudmouth at best.

Practical evidences have showed Adekunle was/is nobody in the annals of Nigeria-Biafra war. The fall of Port Harcourt, Calaber, Owerri, Aba, Uyo, Ikot Ekpene and Oguta were combinations of efforts by 1st Division, Nigerian navy and lack of weaponry on Biafran side.

However, when few factors of hindrance were set aside as evidenced in the eviction of 3MCDO from Oguta, Owerri and onward retreat to Port Harcourt, the divisional field commanders and army headquarter in Lagos did not waste time to dismiss Adekunle as commander. Adekunle had been adjudged as the worst Nigerian divisional commander during war. Anybody commander graded below Murtala Muhammed should not have worn green uniforms.

By the way, he was not 28yrs old by 1966. If you can not even quote the correct age of your so-called hero, it tells much about your mental stability.
Major Adekunle, 28-years old, General of the Nigerian troops on the South front sat enthroned behind the General’s desk of the Shell administration, which he had made into his main station when he took the Ibo-city by storm on May 18. Now he stated: "I am convinced you will report objectively and keep to our orders." We confirmed that.

"Okay," he beamed, "the Germans just know how war works. Tonight there is a front-party in my headquarters. You will come! An order is an order!"

This interview with the most important man in the Nigerian war took place at night. Whisky and beer were abundant, uniformed go-go girls played DJ, Adekunle danced and petted his mascot, a small mountain goat named "Ojukwu".

Chief Emeka Ojukwu was never a coward.
As the head and the soul of the group (Biafra) his safety is very important.
That is tactics of war.
WHich worthy leader would care so much about his own safety while leaving his people into the hands of the enemy.

So if robbers come to a house, the father, head and should of the family should jump the fence while the attackers maul his family?
Politics › Re: Why I Went To Cote D'ivorie; I Didn't Run Away - Ojukwu by dayokanu(m): 4:15pm On Feb 22, 2011

Ojuku sacrificed 2million innocent souls on the battlefield of Biafra before wearing wigs, g-strings and padded bra to skip to Ivory coast for the annual swingers conference in 1970

Discussing Ojukwu is a job for historians at this point in time. Ojukwu committed no crime - this is the point we make and will keep singing to you. In contrast, the criminals are Gowon, Obasanjo, Adekunle (AKA Black Parasite), yet to be tried.
He is called Benjamin Adekunle black Scorpion. You heard about him too? He terrorized the eastern Heartlands. If only he laid his hands on Ojuku.

He was 28yrs old and schooled Ojuku and co.

If the poorly-trained and ill-disciplined Nigerian Army had caught him alive, he would have been tortured and taken back to Lagos and paraded for sport! Gowon's 'One Nigeria' was complete hog-wash! Ojukwu was fully aware that ordinary Biafrans were being killed on an hourly basis; he would have been treated shabbily by the Nigerians if he had been caught.

You barely-literate animals should sit the fuckin' hell down and shut the bleep' up!
From the bolded statement, He bailed out to save his life from a certain death like "Generals" do and leave his people to suffer
This is the most uninformed statement on this thread. Watch this time and see how things play out.

Igbos saw that igbo guy coming to contest governorship in lagos as not just unreal but simply silly hence he was ignored. This time I can tell you that 75% of Igbo votes in the SW will go to GEJ. Many more christians will follow GEJ than back Bakare in a Buhari(sharia) ticket. just watch.

And why is it very easy to always have a muslim-muslim ticket, and have some people tell us that it doesnt matter. Could it have happened the other way in the name of competence? Dont people ever consider the international outlook of having a muslim president and vice in a multi-religious setup like nigeria? Is Ribadu telling us that if competence is what he is looking for in a running mate, he could not find a single competent christian to partner with?
Why cant the 99% Ibo population of Lagos just pick one of them and support in the governorship election.

How come Christians in the SW voted en masse for MKO abiola on a Muslim-Muslim ticket despite rumors being peddled that he is anti Christian and even sunk a ship load of bibles

@DK

comprehension na your worst wahala . . . tongue

the fact that we have said he can only do it in La Liga doesnt entirely mean he will suffer from impotencia anytime faced with EPL opposition, what it means is that all those rubbish he does in La Liga cant happen in the EPL as the type of footie in EPL is fast and furious and u will lose your legs in a jiffy if u try to run at defenders the way he does in La Liga . . .imagine his doing that against Shawcross and Barton  grin
Someone who has done it with Vidic and Ferdinand, Molested Carvalho, Pepe, Vermalean etc

Messi I can remember has scored 5 goals against EPL opposition yet you posited that he cant cut it in EPL.

Was CR7 not running at defenders which included Barton and Shawcross? Was Henry not running at them?

If someone like Santacruz can rule in the EPL after failing in better leagues yet someone of Messis caliber wont cut it?

This kind of reasoning can only be peculiar to GAYYners.

How many registered voters in the SW are Yorubas?
Since when did votes of non Yorubas count in SW? The SW have always had votes in favour of Yoruba supported candidates regardless of what other trbes living in the SW feel

FYI In 2007 a party presented an Ibo man for Governorship seat in Lagos and the 99% Ibo population of Lagos couldnt even make him top 5 in the result
