Nobel is still the highest award for academic achievement until some other awards come. As at today Soyinka has the nobel.

I dey laugh. Those three presidents with the exception of Shonekan that was an interim president were all military presidents. You talk of wole Soyinka. For every Soyinka there's a chinua Achebe who wiels more influence than Soyinka. Forget about Nobel Prize. There's even Cyprian Ekwensi, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie et al.

For every Adenuga, there's a Cosmas Maduka(Coscharis), Annny Okonkwo(Reltel), and the owner of Innoson. Pls let's call a spade a spade and a shovel a shovel and give repect to who it's due. The state that produced the first president(Nnamdi Azikiwe, First Senate president, First profesor of Mathematics, Africa's greatest scientist, Philip Emeagwali. Anambra has no equal.

How can anyone compare a Nobel winner to anyone? Soyinka won a nobel until Achebe can win a nobel he cant be compared to Soyinka.

How can anyone even compare Adenuga to Coscharis, Okonkwo or Innoson? Adenuga , Dangote Otedola are the only ones in their class.

It is not right to hit a woman at all. I regard any man doing that as highly irresponsible. No matter the provocation, the man must not hit the woman. The woman is the weaker sex, remember. What if in the process of hiting the woman she dies what happens? I know of men who rather than hit a woman would go out to avoid hiting her. God made man the head of the home. When man learns to play his role well, no woman will provoke him. The woman loves & respects a man who can take care of her & her kids. But where the reverse is the case, the woman reacts. And why should the man hit her for that? Even where a woman is wrong, it is just not right for a man to hit a woman.

So is it right for a woman to hit a man?

If I roll up on my husband like a man trying to box, then I would fully expect him to handle the situation as a man who is being challenged, and fight back.  The minute I challenge or attack him on a physical level, I have stopped being his woman and have become his enemy.

My Dad taught me that when a man walks away from me, TO LET HIM GO! Don't go running after him, let him calm down, and let him approach you. Ladies please learn this. leave. I've seen a man lose it because he was trying to leave and she wouldn't let him. Dude just snapped and it was not pretty.

Being a woman does not give me the right to attack someone and expect no repercussions. If I were to attack someone on the street, I would face consequences.  I would expect that person to defend them self against me. Shouldn't the same apply in my home?

Physical fighting, slapping, hitting, or whatever that can cause physical harm does not belong in relationships unless it's consensual. (Some couples actually like beating up each other and dare anyone to intervene. Yeah its sick, but what can you do?)

Bottom line, Make love, not war!
