Stanislause94: Sometimes I keep wondering if jagaban will feel fulfilled considering how he bought himself into the seat of the presidency with lagos tax payers money. Leadership is earned not bought. Where Tinubu bought the primaries or not, Approximately 8 million Nigerians voted for him which is approximately 2 million people more than the nearest challenger. The 3rd place candidate is just making noise so that he can remain relevant in national discussions |

Nonsense woke liberals have come again. So Yorubas in Eko should let someone that hates them govern them so that you can have a happy family? You knew the consequences and potential issues when you married an Igbo wife so you should be prepared to deal with them. If you like train your children in a way that they will hate their Yoruba heritage na your wahala be that, but don't expect Yorubas to sit back and allow someone that have deep rooted hatred for them to reign supreme over them. |

Obi should not waste his time, the governorship election showing north didn't vote for him. That is correct but he needs to satisfy the Nzobu Nzobu mob. I still cannot comprehend how someone that blatantly disregarded the strength of the Northern votes is still insisting that the election was stolen from him. Even 2nd place Atiku has quietly accepted the result. |

Let it be known that the stolen mandate will be recovered, it happened thrice in Anambra and it will happen again this time at federal level.
Don't panic yet Obidients,Peter Obi has always won miraculously when it seems impossible!!! On what ground exactl was the mandate stolen from Obi when he himself said, directly or indirectly, that he does not need northern votes to win? You cannot win if you do not get 25% in the 2/3 of the federation. Did Obi meet that requirement? |
Politics › Re: 2023: Obi Should Let Go, Build LP For 2027 by daywatcher: 3:02pm On Mar 01, 2023 |
zanebaddo: But you can win by attacking voters, snatching ballot boxes and manipulating results and electoral laws. The Nigerian reality. People will never expect you to win doing things the right way. They expect you to win by hook or by crook because it is the only way possible and yet we complain when that same way is used against us. If rigging took place APC will not have lost lost Lagos, Kebbi, Kaduna, Osun, and 1 to 3 other states that they expected to win with ease. You are delusional if you believe the blanket votes that LP got in the South East is not by rigging. Tinubu is accepted in both Northern and Southern Nigeria, the other main candidates should go and learn from him how the earn the trust people in all parts of Nigeria. |
Politics › Re: 2023: Obi Should Let Go, Build LP For 2027 by daywatcher: 2:51pm On Mar 01, 2023 |
Realists: You mean Atiku should forcefully marry Dame Peter Obi come 2027 again ?. It's a fact that Obi alone can never be Nigerian president for Ndi Dot Nation are too small to fight the North, for even the Northern Christs are also minority. I don't think Atiku will run again after 6 attempts. Obi can win Presidency with a national party, afterall Jonathan did it with PDP and he is from a minority tribe. Obi just has to be prepared to build bridges and dine with the people he's supporters love to insult, and abandon the error of targeting the Christian votes alone. |

Politics › Re: 2023: Obi Should Let Go, Build LP For 2027 by daywatcher: 12:31pm On Mar 01, 2023 |
NaijaCowFarm: I am not happy that Peter Obi did not win. There are clear fundamental factors that were so herculean to overcome the very moment LP/NNPP alliance failed. Now that Atiku is seemingly out of the way, it is time to galvanise the opposition towards 2027. It is going to be a marathon, so let us start now. There is no point wasting resources on election tribunal. With the capacity shown by Obi, 2027 is possible, but we need to do the following:
1. Not waste time and resources on election tribunal, but need to let Nigerians know of the brazen robbery APC governors and Wike perpetrated. If the PDP wants to challenge the results, let them do so themselves, without involving LP
2. Get real political structure for Labour Party across Nigeria. One reason we loss was because we did not have strong roots in the North.
3. Galvanise all elected officials to form a formidable force to take on APC, which is already reduced in strength from 21 to 12 states.
4. Peter Obi and LP should focus on the March 11, 2023 governorship polls. Obi should begin touring states LP won to boost morale of LP supports in the 22 states win high voters. Not waste resources in states like Katsina, Yobe, Zamfara.
5. LP leadership should begin talks with NNPP, progressive still in PDP and form a formidable party with structure, just like what ACN/CPC did. We need to start now. This is what many have been telling obedients from the beginning but they refused to listen and insulted the many messengers. You cannot win Nigerian presidency by been accepted only in the South or North alone, Atiku and Obi should now have learned their lesson. |

PureMe01: For all those urchins trying to make excuses that for Tinubu to have lost these states below that it means that the election is free and fair. Osun: his home state Lagos: his adopted state Kano: Ganduje state Katsina: Buhari state Plateau: His campaign DG state Kaduna: Elrufai 's state
FCT,Abuja inclusive
So he lost all those states including FCT and went further to win the elections? What kind of magic is that for someone who claims to have the popular votes? I can see how popular he is to have pulled that magic off. If he lost all the important states and FCT,how come then? Keep shooting yourself on the foot with all the claims. From losing those states,it means he's NEVER the will of the people, therefore he decided to manipulate anyother territory he got his co criminals to cover up which is evident from all we are seeing.
Tinubu with the aid of INEC chairman engaged in a very successful rigging galore! The law of nature will take its course moving forward. That's all I know. How it's gonna happen? I don't know.
He should carry his muslim-muslim ticket to Pakistan, they will welcome him awesomely with such ticket. Not this Nigeria.
