MALIGNANTGuest: What's really the "behave anyhow here"? Would you have preferred her divorced her like the West does b4 marrying the new one? Of what essence is such? Divorce is not a death sentence. He married a second wife without consulting or seeking permission of the first wife. He should have admit his ways to the 1st wife and so she can decide whether she wants a co-wife or not. Yul took the coward way out. |

The more I see and read about long campaign promises like these, the more I keep losing interest to vote.
What haven't we heard?
You'll do this and that, you've done it in so so place, like seriously? Who are all these lost souls supporting these people?
Buhari may as well continue because no candidate is saying anything different from all the past lies we are used to.
No mortal can make a good impact with this current Constitution and set up. And until a presidential candidate comments on that and tell us how to go about it, I will know it's same old sh!t
Rubbish Exactly all the candidates are conveniently avoiding the issue constitutional amendment that will make the changes they are promising possible, indicating that whoever wins it will just be a continuation of the status quo. The only winner of the election will be Northern Nigeria because they are against constitutional amendment in a way that will make the states or regions more powerful. |

TV/Movies › Re: Money Rituals: In Defence Of Nollywood by daywatcher: 10:41am On Feb 01, 2022 |
CandyOps: Ritual killings exists before Nollywood yes. But Nollywood de broadcast am.
Just like porn has been available since but xvideo website broadcasts it.
But then apart from all that, how come people tend to turn a bling eye to the main cause of ritual killing - religion?
If you want ritual killings to become a thing of the past in years to come then we need to scrap religion from our society.
Come to think of it, the word 'scarifice' has a religious background which involves the termination of a life (plant or animal) to the 'source of life'
Superstition & religion is ruthlessly dealing with our development in Africa. And Africa will always remain backward if religion is given front seat before science Great comment. Many people in our society know that Abrahamic religions are also a massive problem in our society but they find it more convenient to castigate traditional religion and defend Abrahamic religions. Spiritualism, which Christianity, Islam and Traditional religion fall into, is negatively impacting the pace of growth and development. Dont criticise one and defend the other. |

musicwriter: That book you're quoting is not history, it's a book of mythology and belief. There's no where in ancient Egyptian history where somebody was called Joseph. Neither is there a record of the Exodus story. The story begins and ends inside your bible only because the bible is a book of belief not history.
Joseph never existed. Most of the bible stories are allegories teaching perseverance.
You're quoting mythology, just like Olorun in Yoruba mythology climbing down from heaven to earth from a golden chain to create the earth.
Throw away that book and grow up. Great comment. Majority of Nigeria can't think beyond the religious indoctrination |

1) The girl in question could be a hooker
2) Secondly she might not be.
now the reason why the guy got those slaps it's not because he asked the wrong question, but because he looks so broke and poor.

michlins: We're few decades away from true immortality. I know my religious fellows will shout against this but science has broken more jinx and immortality is the next target. You don't expect Bezos with over $200bn to die and leave it all. The ultra wealthy don't want to suffer natural death again and they're backing research with billions of dollars to get it done.
Before you say it's impossible, there are numerous organisms that don't suffer natural death. Animals like jellyfish sheds old skin and doesn't suffer natural death. There are trees that can live for hundreds of years.
So man needs to figure out how they're able to live for so long and transfer same to people who can pay for it wait for them counter scientifically proven facts with unproven events and stories from their religious books |
