PoliticsRe: Magu Can Be Removed When Saraki Becomes Acting President – Falana by dazdilijae(m): 2:16pm On Jul 07, 2017
seunmsg:
Magu does not need the confirmation of the senate to remain in office as the acting chairman of EFCC. In as much as he's not parading himself as the substantive chairman, he's still very much occupying the office legitimately until the president says otherwise.

Again, the EFCC is an institution and not an individual, the agency can prosecute based on the provisions of the EFCC act and not whether the chairman is acting or substantive.
Prosecute Base on the same act that say the chairman has 2 b confirmed by Senate that has rejected the chairman who approved the prosecution? What a contradiction
If you say the chairman can stay in office in violation of the Act how then does that same act give him powers 2 approve prosecutions of corrupt persons

I am not saying that they shouldn't invite him. Read my previous posts. The question is why celebrating the compulsion of wearing uniform over the real issue. The issue is the policy, which in itself is targeted at the rich, who don't pay full duties but may cause trouble for the masses. That is what we should be talking not uniform as they want to divert attention to...
The senate invited the CGC not Hameed Ali please you guy should get it right, The CGC has a uniform with his ranks same way the Commander in Chief of the armed force may not be a military man but Must wear the uniform to certain occasions Hameed Ali can not give orders to custom officer to obey rather the CGC does that so the CGC should appear before the sanate to explain his policies that are anti people
For your information no senators house has been broken into 2 remove rice or stopped on the road to collect the bag of rice from their boot it the poor masses that suffer this.
If this foolish policy is allowed to stand it would be our cars that would be impounded nt the senators cars because custom officers don't stop senators on the road to ask for their custom papers it's us that would lose our cars nt the rich OLODO

Which agency discovered the pump action after it was cleared? Is it not same custom. Didn't they track down their officers, who cleared it? In the past, they would have sneaked into the country without being noticed.

On revenue slump, u should know that Dino is only whipping sentiment. Reasons for revenue slump is neither here nor there... in a time when Naira has fallen fast, how many people are importing. Only exporters benefit from devalued currency.

Rise above sentiments and question every motive of your SINators, who are not representing you!
Some of u are either dubious or just plain foolish the revenue drop came from useless policies of this Govt and Ali thru his actions like ban on rice closure of land boarders to vehicle import etc. Now he wants to sure up revenue thru illegal levies on OLD REGISTER Vehicles inside Nigerian Roads against the laws of the land thus the advice by senate to shove it but he refused rather wanted to prove he was above the law$
Come to think of it even if they not senators and he is not CGC can one man be superior to 109 people? Majority must always ve their way that is the beauty of democracy
Those senator represent Nigerians and Nigerian ve spoken out loud and clear HAMEED ALI is incompetent and proud so must either be tamed or saked
Who cleared the cars or failed to do so that the poor man who managed to save up 2 buy it on the streets of Nigeria should lose the car in the name of import duties?
I pity all you propaganda propelling agents trying hard to divert the attention from the substance Hameed Ali was not summoured to the Senate rather the CG of customs was and if he represents that rank then he MUST appear as the CGC not as a nobody
The CGC has a uniform with his ranks same way the Commander in Chief of the armed force may not be a military man but Must wear the uniform to certain occasions
ENOUGH OF THE IMPUNITY OF THIS GOVERNMENT always looking for ways to side track issues.
PoliticsRe: How Jonathan, Wike Blocked Rivers State From Taking Delivery Of Two Helicopters by dazdilijae(m): 12:36pm On Jan 30, 2017
SamiraF:
I am very happy that Former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi has taken such pains to detail his role in this helicopter matter. I hope Buhari, Osinbajo and EFCC, SFU, Police, Army and DSS are reading Amaechi's statement, which should be adopted as the chargesheet of his criminality and corruption.

Amaechi says ONSA contributed half of the cost of the 2 helicopters, that half being $15 million dollars.

The helicopters have been bought and imported, Nigerians can only assume, at the total cost of $30 million dollars.

Amaechi says that Goodluck Jonathan granted duty waiver.

Nigeria customs at Sahcol insists that the importer (Amaechi) paid duty of N11.8 billion naira.

The only incontrovertible fact here is that current Rivers State Governor Wike is not in possession of the true details since he is not the importer. Amaechi has admitted that he is in material fact the importer.

Can Aviation Minister Rotimi Amaechi please tell Nigerians how 2 Bell Helicopters manufactured in 2012, at a cost of $6 million dollars each became $15 million dollars each by the time he bought them?

Can Amaechi tell Nigerians what happened to the sum of N11.8 billion naira that he took from Rivers State Government coffers ostensibly as duty payments, for these 2 Bell Helicopters which he now admits he obtained duty waiver for?

For any doubting thomas that Amaechi looted Rivers State dry, every helicopter has a chassis number like a car. The 2 helicopters in question that are now impounded at Murtala Mohammed Airport can be tracked in detail.

Bell Helicopter 412EP, Chassis Number 36606 was manufactured in 2012, registered to Africair in Miami Florida - http://www.helis.com/database/cn/46148/

Bell Helicopter 412EP, Chassis Number 36608 was manufactured in 2012, registered to Africair in Miami Florida - http://www.helis.com/database/cn/46149/

Amaechi must account for the illicit profit of $18 million dollars he pocketed from claiming the helicopters cost $30 million dollars when in fact they cost $12 million dollars.

Amaechi must also account for the duty sum he removed from Rivers even though he knew the helicopters had duty waiver. In 2013/14, Amaechi would have converted that so called duty sum of N11.8 billion naira at CBN rate of around N160 to 1 dollar, that is $73.7 million dollars at the prohibitive duty that was actually waived. Customs has confirmed seeing documents for n11.8bn duty with no end-user certificate.

18 million dollars and 73.7 million dollars has disappeared in this Amaechi's sole trader of helicopters importation scam.

Nigerians are not blind, Amaechi must refund the $91.7 million dollars he stole in only 1 transaction.
Thanks 4 the eye opener

The question you gullible followers refused to ask is
1. Is Ameachi not in this FG that declared the helicopters as imported by unknown person?why didn't he say it belonged 2 Rivers state before Wike bursted that lie 4m customs?
2. If GEJ n Wike frustrated it 4m getting to the Rivers people as he wants us to believe why has he nt made efforts to assist the state to take delivery of it nearly 2yrs he got to the FG? That's to show he's intent was never 4 the state
3. If GEJ gave waivers 2 import as he said why is the customs asking for payments to the extent Wike had to forfeit the helicopters to FG?
Ameachi is a pathological lier that lie Moh'd na learner 4 his side.

Every touts in ND wants to be like Asari Dokubo, Ateke Tom, Tompolo, whose wealth were amassed from militancy. I am not surprised about any groups emerging because the day the Nigerian government decided to grant amnesty to these thieves parading themselves as freedom fighters, not arresting their leaders and known sponsors, that's the day the government signed an irrevocable agreement with "Satan". Going to schools for the ND kids are no longer lucrative. Why should I study hard and become innovative towards solving ND problems when I can just carry a gun, destroy government pipelines and still get a fat paycheck as amnesty? And to those including my ND people who refused to condemn this act, I can confidently say that you all are sad people and you have my pity.

Ps: please only quote to debate well and not like an average political Nairalander who engaged based on religion beliefs, tribal affiliated and political parties. Think out of the box.
Ok please let's discuss
1. How many niger deltans that went 2 school, studied hard and graduated with good grades have an opportunity 2 b employed into the oil facility in his or her community despite the local content law in force? Even those trauned in underwater welding which is a specialisation and scarce stills under the amnesty programme are back and jobles so what was the use of going 2 the school?

2. How many communities in the niger delta where gas is produced for pover generation can boost of electricity talkless of uninterrupted power?

3. How has the niger delta benefited from talking to government in the centre since 1958 when the first oil was drilled in oloibiri

4 of what benefit was she'll (as a case study) to oloibiri
community in the over 30yrs of oil exploration in their land? And how was the land after oil exploration till date even without militancy in all the years

5. How can any1 hear the true cry of the niger delta when the goverment @ the centre
From 1958 has claimed every voice that cries is an opposition or criminal? The only known language so far that has brought the government @ the centre to listen is the drum of war. A man who refuses to listen to reason would be forced to reason without listening.

When you answer these question I would know you are realy serious to discuss positively then we can go on.

PS I don't support sabotage but justice must be done and also seen to be done.

Sometimes we just criticize for nothing sake what is bad in saying you want to renovate the airport and fix the runway? Is Kaduna not where most pilots learn to fly locally is that not where NCATT is based? Is Kaduna airport not used as a military base for the air force and army? Is Kaduna airport not used as an international airport to lift pilgrims?
You guys just amaze me, and its also funny that the critisims are led by people who had the opportunity and the right funding to do the right thing but failed to do it...now thy Dont want other people to fix it
Please get it right no one is saying it should nt be repaired. I said the amount and time you would use 2 fix kaduna- Abj road would ve done a lot on the runway if it is worked upon @ night. If you ve travelled out of naija b4 you would notice that in saner places construction works are mostly carried out @ nite with flood lamps when the roads r essential roads.
NCAAT is in Zaria not kaduna. The airforce base is different from the airport also pilgrims are not airlifted from kaduna airport so stop telling lies
My arguement is no country closes it's gate way not even 4 a day hw many foreign nationals would wanna come 2 nigeria and land in kaduna? When their destination is Abuja? What happens 2 people who leave lagos 2 Abu bt ve their destination as lafia or makurdi? Why should a govt decision add sufferings to people rada than aliviate it

Hw would flights landing in Kaduna airport change the economic situation of a civil servant if not 2 make it nore hard due 2 increase in fares n hotel prices?

We should start behaving like we can develop truely the repairs should be done @ night or channel the fund 2 building a new runway withing 5months afterall the closure is in 3months and repairs for 2months so it's enof time2 do the needfull.
Kaduna airport is not the best option unless is another plan to channel national funds 2 fund a regional progect.then fine and good bring it for us.

Buhari should spend money, acquire the technology and weapons to stop oil pipeline bombings. It is a technical issue and can be done . They can deny access to pipeline rights of way and also by the time 5000 people are wasted and hunger enters Niger Delta the bombing will stop.
Some of us worked for decades in the Niger Delta.
Things are easy and the FG is soon allowing the oil companies to have armed private security very soon.
A lot of ND boys are going to die unnecessarily and you won't be able to blame the FG for it.
If you want to dare Nigeria, please go and fortify yourself properly first. Don't threaten on the pages of newspapers. Please stay tuned and watch.
As a Yoruba proverbs says;

Secondly, when did we start paying criminal aliens for crimes committed on our soil? Even if they are aggrieved are'nt there legal means of seeking redress than the continued maiming and killings by the so called aliens? I thought our laws frowns at taking laws into one's hand.
If anything, El rufai has just confirmed the conspiracy of FULANI AGENDA by his statements. MeAboki:
It is equally sad to note the lack of objectivity and reasoning in your perception which seem to have been pre-set in a prejudicial stereotyped mode.

First of all, I am not a spokesman for El-Rufai who therefore must blindly support him whether right or wrong; however, I am not ready to also sit back and buy into the ongoing political propaganda and conspiracy theories driven purely by ethnic and religious sentiments.

Secondly, curfews are often used as universal tools for stopping further escalation in situations of complete breakdown of law and order e.g. riotous conditions where movement is restricted in order to prevent the warring parties from regrouping or coming together with a view to resumption of hostilities.
Curfews have been declared at various times in this country e.g. at national level (during military coups) at state level (to curb post election violence) also at LGs level (communal clashes) during which the law enforcement agencies, police/army are used to enforce it, with orders to arrest or even shoot at sight any violator.
However, at no time can anyone expect for the police/army to be physically present everywhere in order to effectively enforce a curfew because it is practically not realistic - especially over a vast area such as southern Kaduna.
What they are expected to do is to patrol the whole area, moving from one place to another ensuring compliance.
Of course, this cannot offer full guarantee against a determined group from sneaking to attack another; just as the burglar proof in your house cannot guarantee you full safety that burglars or armed robbers cannot break in and steal from you.

Blaming the governor for declaring the curfew and for the attack on the two LG is therefore quite unfair and mischievous because the alternative would have definitely led to more loss of life.

The governor as the chief security officer is no doubt privy to intelligence report from the relevant secret agencies; how do you know he was not acting on such intelligence when he spoke of the anticipated attack from militants; besides it would appear that he was completely vindicated with the capture of such armed non-indigene.

If you were to analyse the statement acredited to El-Rufai on the Fulanis years ago, you would appreciate it was an attempt by him to explain the Fulani nature and culture of revenge - which many presently fail to factor as contributory to the ongoing communal conflicts associated with them.
It is unfortunate to note how his detractors have deliberately been misconstruing it into negative propaganda in order to malign him; much in the same way that PMB is being deliberately misquoted out of context for his dog and baboon as well as the 97% and 5% speech by his haters.
If El-Rufai did in fact paid off some Fulanis after being robbed off their cattle from revenging against the local community of the rustlers; then his motive should be quite obvious, that he in fact only did so in order to save lives and broker peace - after all he would not be the first to do that; since the whole ND amnesty programme was based on that premise; besides one of the SE governors (Imo or Anambra) was on record to have similarly paid off Fulanis from taking revenge after their cattle were rustled.
Hope you sleep well at night after all you have posted

No doubt, the reign of GEJ was laced with good luck for the country, but the righteous man squandered the blessings which God gave Nigeria (because of him) on people like Dasuki, etc. If the good fortunes that accrued to Nigeria within those years of plenty were utilized properly, Nigeria would have had at least one or two functional refineries (at least one new one should have been built + resuscitation of the old dead ones). Also we would have had at least one or two major roads completed or one or two power plants built and completed to balance our power problems. We would have at least had a major high speed standard rail completed and functional within that period and if those were in place, we wouldn't be so much affected by the crisis in the oil industry today.
its so easy to blame GEJ for the waste of our resources but exempt this administration where people like Ameachi and Fashola who took GEJ to court for saving is praised for their lies.
Stupidity is when we blame teacher for not covering the syllabus but forget we were given the same syllabus at the beginning of the term Ameachi said he didnt know the trains were working. was surprised the rail lines were working few days as minister while Fashola said GEJ constructed more roads than any other govt few days into office so to me all this after noise of no infrastructure is political lies cos APC has seen it can never achieve a third of GEJ's achievement in their four years in power. point of reminder GEJ constructed Abuja- Kaduna railway in his 5years in office but Fashola and Ameaxhi couldnt finish their shorter distanced train project in their eight year in office in both states and till date.

Then you would know he is made with a difficult disposition to life thus the need 4 prayer by the country 2 free us from his nature.

Heffalump:
First, you should know by now that the whole issues surrounding the Shekau flag is nothing but a psychological warfare. It's going to do a lot of damages to the sect's psyche.

story for the gullible

Second, you should know that Shekau's flags are many. The one taken by the Army could be one of the terrorist's flags. Those claiming otherwise, can you read the inscriptions on the flag?

the fact is that in the so called many flags none is same as the one the army claims to have recovered from Sambisa casting shadows of the claim

Last, why are some people making a mountain out of a mole hill cause of terrorist flag? This does not reduce the fact that Sambisa has been rumbled and jumbled by the military and Shekau and his gang are on the run.

The president of the country made it an important national event so its no longer a mole hill its the integrity of the military and the presidency at stack now unless in their normal way they would ignore the truth calling it opposition rants as thei did the economic issues which has gotten out of their control now

Please, FYI stop wasting people's time by comparing flags. We should all by now be praising what the military has achieved for us, except you're an enemy of the State.
wake up to the truth and smell the beans it about to burn

Bros, do you stay in port Harcourt and if you do,where exactly?
Secondly,Rivers state has enough recreational centres for its citizens, can you tell me what big outing destination that's not overcrowded during festive period that is taking Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abuja as case study
Thirdly, investors in rivers state are highly welcome ,the only thing is the lands we have here are damn expensive ,let's say 11 million for one plot,if you cannot afford it ,leave our land for us and also before a company is set up on in a land MoU must be reached between community people and the owner of the establishment, after all,you are there to make profit, and I don't think there demands are tasking because they weight the firm before demanding

You have truly spoken like a typical indigene of Rivers State. 90% of the indigene are like that and I am not surprised. Why must a company sign MOU to pay your chiefs in the name of the community bla bla plus the numerous troubles from the youth who will demand to be paid monthly and slots/position in the company. If the demands are not terrible, why is it that a lot of non-oil related companies collapse after 1 or 2 years.

Go to the SW and see how things are done.

Stop lying, there is no recreational centre/places in Port-Harcourt. For outings me and my family go to Enugu and Lagos.
