That was really harsh. Frustration must have pushed her to act the way she did. She is pregnant, you should at least empathize with her then you can correct her, just like other mamas have done. That's the best way to teach someone not this. I am surprised you are a woman. I wonder what you would have said if it was the reverse that was the case. Would you dish out the same judgment.

Na WA,. such people are in an unhealthy competition with you. They always want to know what is going on with you so that they can feel good or bad about themselves depending on what they hear. Some may even go as far as trying to sabotage you. I don't keep such people as friends. I dey block them sharply. If I jam them na monosyllabic answers and vague answers I dey give them.

I have no idea on how to measure it. But I think I read that sperm thrives in an alkaline environment so eating alkaline foods can help with vagina acidity and create a more enabling environment for sperm.

Cos your baby was not big at birth,i thought a baby below 3kg won't require episiotomy.

Mummykyrti , I dont know about Union but my lab takes 10k for HSG, 10k for Hormonal profile and 1k for pelvic scan.
Some take 15k for each of the first two and 3k for pelvic scan.

Pls how is hormonal profile sample collected? I read online about saliva collection for it. Is that how its collected here? Is blood sample or opening of leg involved in this one?
Just want to be prepared. Tomorrow my day 21, I am going for it.

hsg 10k that's cheap o. The last one I did mid last year was 22k

Is there any mama who used private hospital without registering with a government hospital?


What are the benefits of registering with a government hospital , I men services that I will get in government hospital that I won't get in a private.

@ olaedoh I don't think that info about blood test not detecting pregnancy till 6wks. Maybe scan but test can detect as early as 10-12days post ovulation. Other mama's correct me if am wrong.

You are right. Mine was positive at 3 weeks and 5days. The six weeks thing is for pregnancy symptoms and not for everybody sef.

nicolesizwi that was how my bump measured 34weeks at 38weeks,doc ordered a scan, and it revealed everythn ws fine but my dd was small for that gestational age, 2.7kg according to the scan, but she was born weighing 2.5kg, but nw she has fatten up, at our 4weeks appointment she weighed 4.4kg, the nurses where amazed. she's gonna be a chubby girl

Yes, I even wondered but at almost 6 weeks ms started and is still on till now. My own is all day not just in the morning.
